Oscar's Taco Shop is a great option for a fast casual type Mexican feast. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and friendly. I got a bunch of tacos and a burrito that had flaming cheetos in it. I also tried a taco (okay, full disclosure, two tacos). I really liked it all and I would definitely recommend here. Oscar's Taco Shop might not be the most authentic Mexican food, it is definitely more Cal-Mex, but this food has definitely embraced by America as a solid part of our culinary scene and Oscar's Taco Shop is a great representation of Cal-Mex in Nashville, Tennessee. I would definitely recommend Oscar's Taco Shop and I give Oscar's Taco Shop a well deserved five stars for a great meal.

I love, LOVE Oscar's. The staff is extremely nice. The establishment is always clean. My go-to is the chicken nachos. For $10.99 plus tax, you can a fully loaded nacho & drink. The nachos are plentiful & well seasoned. The sweet tea is perfect every single time. Literally never had a bad experience from here!

So glad Oscar's is near both my work and my home. My family's absolute favorite food place, we look forward to every Oscar's meal. This little place is special, every ingredient fresh and flawless, even at end of the day ordering take-out. We a family of 3, usually get 1 burrito bowl and a side of 4 street taco's and more than enough food for the 3 of us.

i order online all the time for my 30 minute lunch i even order ahead at 11:30-11:40 whatever time to give them to make the food so when i get there food is done. no they always decide to wait till im there to start making the food even after this being a complaint of mine multiple times and never getting help from management or anyone for it

Oscars Taco Shop is one of my favorite taco places in Nashville. Born in Mexico and raised in the Texan border with Mexico, I got to eat a lot of authentic Mexican tacos weekly. I won't say that these are authentic tacos, because they aren't. But what I will say is that they do use ingredients that are very well put together to form a delicious taco that many other taco places in Nashville miss the mark on. For starters, the corn tortillas taste great! If you've only tasted store bought corn tortillas, try a corn taco here and you'll see that it's a much better experience than you've had. Flour tortillas are good too! It has become a habit to stop by and pick up a breakfast burrito on Fridays. The choices are egg and potatoes, ham, or bacon with cheese. That burrito will be enough to not feel hungry for the rest of the day. At least twice a week, I'll pick up nachos for dinner. Overall, I recommend this place for a good Mexican meal morning or night.

I ordered 2 tacos. Took one bite out of both and ended up feeding them to my dog. They were cold and flavorless. Taco Bell serves a better quality product.
