Vi var i Nashville ett par nätter på affär och var förvånade över att se så många kabob / gyro platser. Vi beslutade om detta nära vårt hotell vid flygplatsen, och det var underbart. Jag hade en gyrosallad, och den gjordes på beställning och höjde oliver och banan paprika, feta och gyrokött över sallad. Min man fick kyckling kabobs och de var också läckra och gott om mat! Vi behandlade oss med en bit baklava och tog det tillbaka till hotellet. Det var alldeles rätt - flagnande, inte för söt eller slarvig. Kvinnorna som lagade mat och serverade var vänliga och leende. Detta är, tror jag, mestadels en genomförbar plats, men de har också bord, den typ av plats där du beställer vid bänken. De har också mexikanska - många av Nashville-kabobplatserna verkar ha grekiska plus något annat - men vi har inte provat något av deras andra erbjudanden. Om vi bodde här skulle vi gå tillbaka igen.

Exceptionell mat och service. Vi beställde gyroplattan och den kommer med en stor del av gult ris och en härlig sallad som du får välja alla grönsaker och pålägg till. Tzaziki sås var bra. Ren restaurang.

Fredag kväll. Vi körde upp kl 7:30 och platsen var tom. Beläget i ett bara något skissartat bandcentrum. Det är bara en åtta minuters bilresa från hyrbilsområdet vid BNA. Även om personalen började stänga av saker, avfyrade de upp grillen för oss. Vi beställde kabobs och gyros, och de var fantastiska. Tre personer för bara 25 dollar. FYI, personalen pratar knappt engelska.

Vi behövde en plats bara för att få lite mat nära hotellet efter en lång resande dag. Sfinxen var perfekt och vi beställde den grekiska sidan av menyn. Huvudkokaren är så vänlig men talar bara grekiska och använde sin yngre släkting (?) För att översätta. Du beställer vid bänken. Vi båda beställde gyrosfatet som heapades med mat, sallad gjord på beställning när du väljer en mängd färska ingredienser som inkluderar cheddar och feta. Håll ett öga på förberedaren när hon lägger till klädsel när hon som standard inte slider den på. Du får en hel pitabröd, högar med smakrikt gult ris. Mitt enda klagomål var att gyrorna var lite torra men vi ätit efter 7:30 så det kan ha varit slutet på dagen. Totalt för måltider inklusive drycker och spetsburk var 20 dollar.
