Stay Local Nashville has been great to work with and has exceeded our expectations from our very first conversation. They are experts at what they do - thorough, knowledgable and well run. I love that I have constant access to a dashboard that shows me how our rental is performing, but that they handle all the other details related to bookings, managing and stocking the unit with supplies. We had previously worked with a company where property management wasn't their primary business and found the experience more burdensome than expected. However, after working with Stay Local Nashville and having such a seamless experience, we wouldn't think to ever work with another company again!

Super quiet location! Loved that we were 10 minutes or so away from the hustle and bustle of the action! My friends and I planned a mom-cation and after looking at the exorbitant prices of hotels, we decided on a rental. And quite honestly it was even better than a hotel. It was super clean and there was a cute care package when we arrived, ample clean towels, mini soaps, our own bathrooms with amenities like hair dryers and washcloths for each bathroom! I plan to come back to Nashville again and definitely stay in this property because of it's convenient location, quiet neighborhood, and comfortable rooms. I've stayed in a lot of places and this one is going on the top 5 of my list!

ATTENTION : EXTREME CAUTION I wish I had read the previous reviews prior to booking a StayLocal property through AirBnb. This is a nightmare of a stay during Covid times. To begin, while arriving at 5pm check-in on the first night of our month long Holiday stay... we arrive to find a house completely surrounded by demolition and on-going construction. When I say on-going, the backhoe-loader was found currently demolishing the rest of a building across the street while the 'house' directly next door had a tarp as an exterior wall and a piece of plywood as a front door. It was dark - so we did not find the trash strewn across the front lawn until the next day. Upon sharing with Stay Local the state of the construction and inquiring why no one prepared us for the inherent noise - the customer service specialist informed us that "construction is all over Nashville right now" insinuating that us out-of-towners apparently should have known that. Road-weary and fresh off a plane, we were happy to see a bottle of Trader Joe's two-buck-Chuck with a 'Stay Local' sticker on it as a welcome gift along with a complimentary bag of snobby coffee from a local coffee roaster. (Please note : these would be amazing gestures if the stay was not a slowly unraveling onion, getting stinkier and stinkier layer-by-layer. I.e. Made fancy coffee only to find later that the bag was a fancy year past its expiration date.) Photos / unfortunate discoveries in this order.. - Construction pics, current state of neighborhood undisclosed by StayLocal - Front lawn with construction trash - Wood floors of entry-way and common areas exhibiting no signs of even the most basic cleaning. - Cabinets with debris, tupperware with oil and caked-on residue in 'ready-to-use' tupperware drawer. How did this pass the promised AirBnB "Enhanced Cleaning Protocol's Five-Step Process" ??? I have no idea. - Third evening, More guests arrived to stay and the bathroom discoveries got increasingly disgusting. Excess of hair covering bathroom floor, toothpaste splashes on mirror and faucet, mold and hair in toothbrush holder (shouldn't this be run through the dishwasher each and every stay????) It was after the hair, toothpaste, and moldy toothbrush cup that we realized we needed to begin cleaning (extensively) and confirm if this place was really what we were thinking. Please see photos of paper towels after cleaning floors, counters, wine glass found in cabinet, etc. ) We sent photos to StayLocal as requested. Our final straw was the nail clippings in living room next to couch. Sunday afternoon watching football ruined by the most bizarre Airbnb experience to date. This home was never cleaned prior to our arrival. Weirder still - a staff member of StayLocal must have stopped by to drop off the complimentary wine bottle and put it out with two clean wine glasses but somehow missed the lack of cleaning, etc. Somehow the 5-Step Enhanced Cleaning Protocol has broken down and Stay Local & AirBnB will take no responsibility. They denied our request to cancel month long stay, they denied our request for a refund and management has yet to call to speak with us directly. A true shame and a sham of a Covid policy.

Fire department has said we cannot stay in our rental because it is not safe. These people have only responded by text and have failed to find someone to fix the problem after notifying the over 24 hours ago. Weekend employees are not doing their job.

ATTENTION - UNSAFE AND CARELESS This review post is in reference to my stay at "The June Carter." I would leave this review on Air BnB but because I did not make the reservation, I don't have the access. Due to a character limit, I will summarize my experience with a list: -3 men in masks with hoodies broke in through the window and searched through everyone's belongings, nothing stolen -house is located in a gentrified area -no security cameras -no emergency/afterhours contact number -ants in the kitchen forcing us to throw away new and unopened food -overall dirty -roof is dangerous even for a sober adult The management company sent over a contract for us to sign to get our money back as long as we didn't leave a negative review. KEEP MY MONEY, I will not be bought off. I hope this review post could help prevent the next group of women from becoming victims of a crime.

ATTENTION: PLEASE READ - SAFETY CONCERNS I recently visited Nashville with 2 other girls. We stayed at a StayLocal Nashville location booked through Airbnb. We enjoyed the stay until we ran into some serious security issues. The first was a nearly empty Panera coffee cup found next to the door on the front porch on Saturday morning. The coffee cup had to have been left there between 3am - 9am by a stranger physically standing on the porch. It had no local delivery information on it. The second was a car sitting outside the front of the house Saturday night for an hour between 8pm and 9pm with the headlights on looking through the clear door. We hid in one of the bedrooms and heard MANY noises outside the house during that time period and called both the airbnb and the police. As soon as they came, the car drove off. We filed a police report and they advised us to stay in a hotel. We were in constant communication with StayLocal and the weekend worker recommended we call the police and if we didn't feel safe to stay in a hotel. In addition, both the front and back doors are full length windows that anyone could look at clearly inside the house. No curtains to cover. StayLocal absolutely disregarded our safety and made light of the security issues above. They belittled us and treated us as if we have never been to a big city before. All 3 of us are from big cities, are very familiar with local crime, and believed this was a serious threat - not something that just "spooked us". I researched many local articles of instances where airbnbs (specifically in Nashville) are targeted by local thieves and criminals due to the vulnerabilities of people traveling from out of town. I sent these to StayLocal as well, and again, disregarded our concern. They have yet to cooperate with our request for a refund for the nights we stayed in the hotel instead of the airbnb. I absolutely do not support any company or organization that does not genuinely care for the safety and well-being of its guests regardless of the threat. This will also be my last time using Airbnb or any rental home for that matter. StayLocal's ingenuity and lack of respect ruined the experience permanently for me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We rented a 2 night "Glamour on the rocks" unit. Very over the top Designer home for a 21 year olds birthday weekend. Should have been a quick in and out stay. We tried to pay extra to get in early and were told it was "impossible because of cleaning"... well the place was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!!! (look at the pictures). There were piles of dust on headboards, on surfaces, and lamps. The master bedroom that was supposed to be the feature Gucci room with a Gucci bedspread and pillows had no bedspread at all!! It literally only had white sheets, and not even a blanket. The walls had pieces of wallpaper missing. Lightbulbs were out on wall signs. There was a stink bug INSIDE our bed and another one INSIDE our shower. There were pieces of streamers on the ceilings and walls from the previous renters that were never removed and....the oven did not work at all. Because we were only there for 2 nights we called on our way home to let them know we were really unhappy and were told it was our fault because we should have called them to let them come back and clean again. Really??? We were not allowed in early because of the special cleaning that was supposed to take place and now we are supposed to let you back in on our time that we paid for to have privacy to let you scrub down months of piled up dirt that you have neglected for our quick 2 night adventure?? No I think not!! Shame on you! I told them the Homeowners would be disappointed to know their unit was in such disrepair and I was told they are friendly with the Owners so take that for what its worth. Do not rent this unit. It is not what the photos show. It is disgusting and not kept well!!
