First time trying Steam Boys and I'm already a fan! We ordered a little bit of everything -- pan-seared pork & shrimp dumplings, spicy dumplings, pork soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and the crispy chicken bao bun. The pan-seared dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the spicy dumplings had the perfect kick without being too much. The soup dumplings were warm, juicy, and comforting (highly recommend). The cucumber salad was super refreshing and balanced everything out. My favorite had to be the crispy chicken bao bun -- fluffy, soft bun with crunchy, flavorful chicken inside. Food came out fast, service was friendly, and everything tasted fresh. If you're a dumpling lover, this spot is a must-try!

The lunch combo is a must here! Plenty of food and delicious dumplings all for a fair price! This location has free parking, cute decor, and nice staff. I recommend stopping by!

I came here for the first time with some friends and ordered their steamed bao. I got the beef and the pork one. The food came out pretty fast and I took my first bite and it was pretty good, but pressed on the side of my bao bun was a dead daddy long leg spider. I immediately lost my appetite and notified the restaurant staff. It's a huge deal to find a dead spider on your food and at first it seemed like they didn't care too much about what had happened and they offered to give me a refund. Later on, they came up to me and offered me a meal on the house to apologize for what happened. This is the reason I give them 3 stars instead of just 1. It seemed like they were genuinely sorry about what had happened and was willing to make up for it. I would just be wary and cautious simply because finding bugs in the food seems like a cleanliness issue especially if it's a restaurant.

If you're looking for some comfort food on a cold night, go to Steam Boys and get the noodle soup! Watch out, the mild is pretty spicy, and I like spice! I always get the beef which has consistently been tender and tasty. This time I also got the spiral cucumber which was really tasty. It might be my favorite thing on the menu, but I love a good cucumber. The staff is always kind. One thing of note. The door takes a minute to close and if it is cold, the air gets in and so it tends to be chilly. Don't sit by the door!

everytime i go in here and order for my family i treat them with kindness knowing i have sometimes 5-8 drinks to order but the workers specifically this indian looking lady always gives us stares, laughs at our order and one time they took a picture of our order because we "ordered so much" and it was only like 7 drinks. mind you, WE give them money and business yet they still can't give us the service we deserve. today me and my cousins drinks had boba stuck together, ive seen other reviews that were saying the same which is ridiculous since the responded to my other reviews apologizing and "committing to providing excellent service " straight bs.

Chinese dumplings make for a great snack or you can eat a bunch for a meal. Steam Boys has classic flavors and they are tasty. We always enjoy the boba here. Friedly, laid-back attitude makes for a relaxing meal. Our order was delivered promptly.

Just lovely food. There are actually a lot of veggie options that are not on the menu beyond the bao. I got the pan seared veggie dumplings and they are sooooo much better than the frozen ones I get at the grocery! Nice lady at the front helped me out with the veggie options not listed on the menu. Super clean sitting area and bathroom.

Decided to check this location out for lunch since it's so close to my place of work. 5 years ago pre covid I loved the Steamboys in Germantown. One of my favorite places for a bite or two. Unfortunately, this one did not meet my expectations. Maybe it's due to expansion or maybe roots have been lost. I feel like the quality of the food has seen a hit. On Tuesdays, steamboys has all you can eat dumplings. We decided to give this a try. Everything we tried was simply alright. With the all you can eat dumplings you get a choice of pork & cabbage, pork & shrimp, veggie, chicken, and the hot dumpling bowl. You can have them steamed or pan seared. We tried every single choice and unfortunately every single choice felt mediocre. On the bright side, I did order a yogurt jasmine milk tea with tapioca and it was delicious!!! Big RIP :(
