Do not go to this venue. Atleast 3 times there have been cars broken into and each time there are atleast 8 cars hit. These are the only times I personally know of. There are probably WAY more. Guns have been stolen and other personal items. Top Golf and The Cowan have done NOTHING to prevent it. After the first time you'd think they'd do something but nope. Only go here if you want to have a chance at winning the lottery to lose your possessions. I was parked directly to the right of the building closer to the fence where the compact parking is. Other times have been in other spots. Nothing has been done and Honestly I doubt anything will be done seeing as they already do not care about customers. Only good thing was the guy who came and talked to us and wrote our names down.

Would leave 0 if I could!! Worst service ever!! Went with a party of 4. Husband had to wait over an hour for his meal! Plenty of food being served around us! Would recommend eating prior. No one apologized or cared.

Saw a show with The Maine, as was severely underwhelmed by the mix in the room. I agree with D.H. below about the vocals being literally indistinguishable when in the first 1-8 rows of standing room. Their Speaker Line Array either needs to add one or two more or simply put some front of house speakers for the people who want to be close. It's an intimate venue so that should be a no brainer...I moved to the middle & back of the venue and it sounded solid there. You have one job as a live music venue, Cowan, HAVE GOOD SOUND. Unfortunately, you guys missed the part where you walk the room and listen to the mix to ensure consistency. Don't just mix from back of house. My God. Amateur Hour here with Top Golf's "Music Venue". Just because you do Golf, doesn't mean you should be doing music. The band however was AWESOME.

I would give this venue 0 stars but not possible. No smoking area, no re entry, security is all over the place , there's 0 privacy, and when a 5'8 130 pound guy is being told to leave they try to lay hands on him. For any show I would say don't waste your time. I'm apart of a nashville events group and posted, dozens of other people had the same experience. It's unfortunate, Goodluck!

As with Craig D, we drove in to see The Fixx at the Cowan, but we had general admission. It seemed like quite a few of the yellow wristband wearing balcony crowd traveled down to the main floor due to the lack of seats/views up there. The Cowan is a nice place to see a show. Small enough to get close, big enough so you don't feel cramped. Not a bad venue by any means. It's in a decent location (right at the back of Top Golf) with plenty of parking which is a major plus for Nashville. It's clean and new, including the bathrooms. Fits about 500-600. Nice open floor in front of the stage to maximize the number of standing attendees, allows for the moshing or just generally engaged concert activities the bands a place like this draws. There's a balcony if you're so inclined but the views are better for GA like pretty much any venue of this style and size. The drinks are a little pricey and the selection is a bit poor but you can drink what you need most likely. My only real complaint was sound and I'm not sure if it's the venue or not. I saw 4 bands and though the instruments were clear and defined the vocals were buried in the mix a bit for every act. The further back you stand the more it settles but for shows like that I prefer to be up front. The Cannery has the same kind of problem sometimes. Other than that, a nice addition to the Nashville music venue scene.

Cool venue! Located in Top Golf, so there is plenty of parking. However, when there is a concert Top Golf is closed off in the Cowan, which means you can get food from their menu. They had 2 food selections mini tacos and popcorn. A few drink options and selected beer options. I got a Coors light in aluminum alittle pricey, but most concert venues raise the booze price. The food tho, the tacos were tiny but hella mighty! They had steak, chicken and pork (they didn't have spicy steak tho). The steak was Greek style with feta cheese and mediterranean salad style topping. The chicken... geez whoever made this spicy buffalo chicken with a carrot slaw... knew that it needed a bleu cheese dressing made it! I wish tho it had some bleu cheese crumbles.. hint hint. But the Asian pork taco with the crunch slaw.. hot dammm my favorite. I definitely want to go back to eat, I'm mean if they made those mini tacos... endless deliciousness is ahead. The bathroom were clean and maintain well. The security was on it too, from entrance to controlling the mosh pit and drunk concert goers. Definitely would come to another concert.

4.5 I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at The Cowan. With it being a newer concert venue in Nashville, I was a little worried that they would still be working some of the kinks out. However, the whole show ran very smoothly and it was an easy check-in process. The Cowan is a concert venue connected to Top Golf. The problem with this is parking. While Top Golf has a huge parking lot, it fills up quickly on a Friday night with both the Top Golf crowd and the concert crowd. The Cowan alone has a capacity of 600 people. I understand that they can't make a parking lot this big but I'm not sure where people should park if the lot is full. We parked on the side of the lot in some tall grass which was fine. Sometimes you just have to get creative! The doors opened at 7:00 and we got there around 7:20 so get there pretty early if you want easy parking. The line was out the door and around the corner but everything moved fairly quickly. When you get to the door, they will check your bags, your ID, and do a quick metal scan. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. If you're over 21, you get a wristband. There are 2 bars on the main level. The first is to the right pretty close to the front door. Bathrooms, separate men/women's, are on the left. There is another small bar on the left closer to the stage. The floor is open with no seating. The stage is fairly small but gets the job done. There is a second level for the VIP tickets. It looked like they had some high chairs along the balcony and then some seating behind that. However, if you don't get one of the few chairs near the front I don't think the view would be that great. I saw people gathering on the stairs to get a better view. I honestly think it's a better deal just to buy the GA tickets. We weren't super close to the stage but could see everything just fine. When I heard the venue held 600 people that made me nervous. I thought we would all be crammed in there like sardines. However, I never once felt uncomfortable or fighting for space. We were able to easily weave in and out of the crowd to grab a drink or use the bathroom. Oh and speaking of drinks, very reasonably priced! A lot of concert venues jack up the prices but I was able to get a tall boy for about $4. It's nice to be able to enjoy a drink during a concert without breaking the bank. The bar looked pretty well stacked with beer and mixed drink options. On to the concert. It was awesome! The sound was great. The lights were fun. I felt like I was pretty close to the band. They have a huge ceiling fan going so there is good air movement. It was a really fun experience! Since The Cowan is pretty new, everything is very clean and shiny. The bathrooms were well kept, the floor was clean, and the bar was great. They keep the check-in process easy and quick. The GA ticket prices are reasonable and it seems like they have a nice mix of talent coming in. I would definitely come back for another show.

Great venue and even better location. Tons of parking, easy to Uber here and they are supporting various genres. Big room with a long bar. Good things coming for the music scene in that area with this bar. I had a great first experience, looking forward to going back.

First time there last night for Red / Lacey Sturm... great experience from the sound quality, sightlines (almost all GA), and bar / willcall staff. Great venue, and we'll be back; however.... The problem is that it's a 600 capacity venue with parking for half that number. After waiting for 20 minutes to valet, with no signage or advance notice, we were told all lots were full, and we could park at the church parking lot (a quarter mile away in heavy rain). I'm not sure how TopGolf could miss that detail in the planning stages, but it sure affected the beginning and end of our experience negatively!
