We did the cocktail experience here while staying at the hotel. I definitely recommend doing this - you get to go into the place an hour before anyone else and it's really cool to feel like you're so special they opened just for you. Our bartender (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) was extremely knowledgeable and gave us the history of the space and talked about the art and decorations. She asked us a lot of questions on our drink preferences so she could make us cocktails to our liking and she was spot on. Her tiramisu espresso cocktail was DELICIOUS. She followed that with a crisp refreshing cucumber and basil drink that was definitely outside my comfort zone but she nailed it. We loved our drinks and the charcuterie board was good. Definitely recommend trying this experience!

Very cool vibe in this bar - almost speakeasy vibes. A friend and I came here for a sofarsounds show and it was good. I had never been to a sofarsounds show - so I didn't know what to expect, but I liked it! A small issue when we arrived was that staff was giving a guy in line ahead of us a hard time and refusing him entry because he was wearing sandals. There is no posted dress code. They said it was for safety reasons but then what about all of us girls who were wearing sandals? It was weird that the dress code seemed to apply to this one guy. Finally the staff relented and let him in. Just a warning if you wear sandals here - you might be given some grief for them. Neither my friend nor I drink but they had mocktails and san pelligrino so we were happy as clams. Would gladly return.

This is a very cool little speakeasy in midtown under the Virgin Hotel. I've been a handful of times and it's always an artsy lounge vibe with artwork lining the walls and great music from jazz, alternative acoustic to r&b. They don't offer food and don't have table service, so your only option is to order from the bar, which is pricey ($18+ for a glass of wine). Nonetheless, it's nice to stop in for a nightcap.

This place is the most vibey, chill, and welcoming venue for great drinks, music, and conversation. The service was professional and familiar. It felt like we were part of a tight-knit community.

Would definitely recommend this place. The ambience is one of the best for a speak easy that I have encountered. The drinks are what sets this place apart from any other I have ever tried. The mixologist was very nice and she came over to take our drink orders. She was extremely interactive with us. You can't go wrong with any of her special drink options. $20-$22 cocktails are worth the price for what you are getting. A lot or work went into each drink and the mixes were on point. The music that evening was a 2 man guitar and singing group. Very talented and laid back If in Nashville this is as much of a "must visit" as any other option.

Disappointing first experience. The bar was completely empty and the Bartender wasn't friendly. We got there and she said she'd come get our drink orders. She sat on her phone for 15 minutes and didn't come to our table. We stood up and walked out. Don't waste your time.
