I think some reviewers just haven't set appropriate expectations for what this is. My group had a ton of fun! We did the 1930s Hollywood themed event. I ended up as one of the suspects, so I got to talk to a bunch of other groups. The clue binders for suspects are separated into different sections to prevent you from accidentally revealing too much too soon, and the instructions for suspects was very clear. The food was disappointing, especially for being at the Kimpton. One of the 3 entree options we had pre-ordered wasn't available, which was okay. I think people should be notified in advance that the Kimpton's location is a rooftop-- again, it worked out well for my group, but we might have dressed differently for the high winds.

I flew in from Dallas, TX to Tennessee to celebrate my nephew's 29th birthday. The amateur murder mystery production was exactly that amateur and I would not recommend them. See my review below: PROS 1) Some of the props were interesting. 2) Only a few cast members which made it easy to keep track of them. CONS 1) How they announced the winning team or should I say the losing team, brought the feelings of that group down. I did not think it was funny. 2) The person who played the character Ooh La La was horrible. Couldn't half understand what she was saying because she was trying to have a French accent. Just horrible. The rule was that the characters and suspects have to ALL questions and cannot lie. Ooh La La would not answer my questions because they would have revealed too much to soon. 3) It is NOT funny to make a team think they solved the mystery and get their emotions all high and then pull the rug from under for the sake of a laugh, isn't professional. It is a cheap act. They sacrificed a team for a cheap laugh. 4) Too many suspects because they did not want to do the work with script. If I could them a zero I would.

So we went to the western one last night and got all dressed up. We arrived 15min early and upon arriving we were waiting in the lobby. Now understand this was a Christmas gift and a party of 8. We headed in where the girl said we don't have a table available for 8 and we will be split up like she had no care in the world. So we have half of our party at a table that held 10 and four at a booth. Well we sat in the far back corner where it is a high booth and you can barely hear anything. We get our food and drinks and during the evening you can't hear or really see, and not really get engaged in the show. At the end you turn in your paper and thE guy never came to our table to pick up our guess. Which we WERE EVEN RIGHT WHICH MAKES IT WAY WORSE, you get a certificate and stuff whIch makes it fun. I spoke to one of the guys and said you never picked up our guess, he shrugged and said "welp it was wrong anyways so who cares." I said no it wasn't if you looked at it. But at the end of the evening. Our friend who purchased this for us was talking to the main director who took a group photo and we all got a copy..... $480-- for a evening of disappointing dinner and show. I don't recommend on anyone doing this. I have friends in other cities who love it so maybe it's just down here. But save your money and just go to House of Cards or have a nice dinner at Kayne Prime

Not a good experience at all! Some of the "actors" were paying customers they picked from the audience and had just been given their script. Needless to say, they did not know what was going on. The seating arrangement was a mess! If it's a dinner and show, then everyone should be able to see and hear the show. That's what you're paying for. The food was just mediocre and the service was awful! It was a BIG let down all the way around!

This was a Horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and go to a good restaurant with your friends and family and enjoy there company with a great meal. They separated our group when tickets were purchased over a month in advance, sat us is a booth in the back where you couldn't see or hear most everything especially the rest of our group. The food was awful. They didn't pick up our sheets of who the muderer was and said it didn't Matter we were wrong anyway. The corporate office was called and offered 1/2 price on more tickets to do it again. That was a No Thank you!!!! Really rotten company to do business with!

The actors and staff where awesome! Only thing that could improve would be the choice of entree. Only had four choices. But had a blast would recommend to everyone!

The food was awful !!! My husband ate two small bites and about threw up!!! I ate less than half of my dinner.and I paid for best seats and they didn't do my upgrade so we were a little pissed about that. There was no decoration accept the actors dressed up. Not what I acpected at all way too much money for the quality. The salad was lame - McDonald's salads are better than what we had. We were in the spaghetti factory why couldn't we just order off the menus I've atten there before n their food was better than what they served... The meal we had give the spaghetti factory a bad rep!!!! Don't go unless u want to walk around and talk to strangers n eat awful food.... Our whole table of 10 Boone ate their food hardly. We could of ate at McDonald's and had better food!!!!

Actors did a great job, as did other guests who were asked to be suspects. Paid extra for prime seating but could not see well over back of the booth. Enjoyed being with other couples to solve the murder. Food was OK but nothing special. Parking garage across the street was very handy, cost $15.

The staff and actors were all very friendly and the actors really put a lot into the rolls they play... However it seems as though they try to crowd to many people into the room we couldn't see the ppl involved and couldn't really hear their stories which made the part of trying to solve the murder impossible... basically we paid a lot of money to sit with strangers and eat. The server was very confused and took forever to bring out our food he was very friendly and seemed to be concerned but needed more training I believe, never could get a refill of my drink ... Over all it has the potential to be a really fun experience but they need to make it a little smaller of a group and set it up so that everyone in the room can see and hear. I honestly feel we wasted our time and money bc we couldn't get involved with the mystery at all from having not been able to see the players or hear their stories ... Probably won't try again at least not here wasn't trilled with the food options either however I am somewhat picky so that is probably my own fault

The murder mystery production, performers and servers were absolutely great. The only reason it was not 5-star is because I did not like any of the food choices. My husband has the Spinach Tortellini with alfredo sauce and I had the Spaghetti Vesuvius.
