What a freaking dream. Cons: crowded, pizza took a while BUT EVEN WITH THOSE CONS IM STILL GIVING THIS 5 STARS!!!!! The vibes are excellent, the pizza is cloud like, and the cocktails are HEAVENLY!!!! This is a must visit place.

I'd wanted to visit Urban Cowboy for years after following their journey of remodeling on Instagram, and my recent trip to Nashville finally gave me the opportunity! Located in East Nashville away from the widespread tourist traps of Broadway, the bed and breakfast is in a cooler, mostly residential neighborhood, and it has its own "public house" separate from the main house but connected by a popular yard with lots of seating. The night we went was warm, and there were plenty of people in the pub, but the loud rap music playing over the speakers didn't seem to fit the vibe of the thoughtful interior design at all to me. I should note I would feel the same if they were blasting the same country top 40 as the spots on Broad or regular top 40, and I know, to some, it's a petty thing, and the staff probably play what they want, but as far as ambiance goes, that was the only negative thing I remember feeling at the time, and because it was audio, it was inescapable. If the music had been a bit lower or had been instrumental, I think it would have been a more immersive experience. We got nice drinks in the parlor bar and enjoyed the music room, and the visual aspect was lovely. I wished I'd had more time to spend there. Perhaps there'll be a "next time."

First visit. I came to see the space for an upcoming meetup and I left with high expectations! The combination of boutique hotels/ bed and breakfast leaves you wanting to know more of the history of the home. I entered off 16th on the side of the building which leads to the Public House this is the full service bar. At 7pm it was already starting to fill up. I made my way upstairs to the wine bar where there was live music playing and a soft beautiful atmosphere, comfortable and warm. It's a cozy place to read or have an intimate conversation. I loved it. I look forward to returning.

I stayed at Urban Cowboy for two nights in the main house - The victorian Suite. I was with three other colleagues so I also got to see their rooms too. This place is amazing! They did a fantastic job with the renovation of this very old house. You miss ALMOST nothing staying here as they think of everything to make you comfortable. They have a great bar next door that's open late! That takes me to the issue. We were working early and there was only instant coffee in the area outside of the rooms. They found the world's best instant coffee but still. I need coffee in the morning. They do provide glass's of water and plenty of water and a decent continental breakfast though we did not eat it. We all really enjoyed our rooms, they were very comfortable, they have sound machines they have a real shower in all the rooms, great bedding. BUT not a great coffee situation for early birds.

Super cute date night spot! Loved the vibes inside and all the outdoor seating (you will smell like smoke if you sit by the fires though!). The cocktails were so good and the bartenders were super friendly. The food was all delicious! It's a fast casual food spot so be prepared to order at the bar or in the window.

Atmosphere is awesome with a large patio, drinks are great, Roberta's pizza connected makes it even better! Only downside is one long line for the single bar they have, so be willing to wait a while to order another round. Drink prices are also kind of high with no happy hour specials offered. But a great place to start your night.

Such a cool place! My mom and I were in town for a mother/daughter trip and I added this to our list because she's also a BnB owner. It's a beautiful Victorian perched on a corner in a mostly residential seeming neighborhood. I just thought there was a bar on the first floor, we'd do a walk-through and head to the next place. Now there is a bar on the first floor...a very nice one. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find another bar in the rear of the property. It's actually larger than the one inside and adjacent to a pizza joint that's connected to the property. It was a bit cool but all the perfectly placed fire pits and booze from the delicious cocktails helped ward off any draft. We had such a good time drinking and chatting with strangers that now my mom wants this atmosphere in her backyard. Lovely and fun concept. Maybe next time, I'll just stay here.

Cozy spot but the only way to drink is to get back in line immediately after you receive your cocktail. And it's completely dead in here on a Thursday at 5 I can't imagine when it's crowded. Absolute insanity to make ppl line up at the bar and not have servers wandering about. I missed the presence of my company bc I was in line the entire visit. The 'roni rolls were great tho!

I love the hipster vibe of urban cowboy and it's set up. There is both indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor seating is really where it's at. They have severs fire pits that they keep going through the evening and it's built inside a metal cage so the logs don't fall out on you. It's really nice. They have string lights set up and they have blankets on the backs of the chairs for you to use. Their cocktails are solid and I love that the pizza place has taken up permanent residence there now. Their wood-fired pizzas are the perfect pairing for the cocktails at the bar. Heads up, urban cowboy is the hotel and the bar is next to it. You walk in in between the pizza place (on the right) and what looks like nothing on the left. It's confusing if you haven't been there before.

I rarely ever post a negative review of my accommodations but after much reflection i have decided to give my honest opinion for the benefit of future guests at Urban Cowboy. Our room had 3 beds as advertised- two were on the floor - and very difficult to access for someone with a sleep apnea machine, glasses, and a night guard. Also there were almost no blinds preventing the sun from lighting up our room at 5:40am every morning and when we asked the staff if they could help us we were told that other rooms did have blinds - and they ignored our complaints completely. We also requested room service on Day 2 of a 3-day stay and someone came and made up one of the 3 beds, and left a tray with one new bottle of water. The other 2 beds were untouched, the garbage can was left full, the bathroom sink and shower were untouched, and the towels were replaced. I have stayed in many hotels, inns and B&Bs around the world for a fraction of $750 US per night and received significantly better response to my requests for room service than was provided by the Urban Cowboy. My opinion is based on the complete lack of attention to detail in attending to our requests for room service. I think that the owners need to seriously consider their value for investment and begin providing the kind of service that customers deserve for a $750 investment. I cannot recommend the Urban Cowboy to anyone staying in Nashville- they need to realize that attention to detail is expected by guests and deliver a significantly better level of service in order to compete in today's hospitality industry.
