My experience with Triple A was quick, easy, painless... AND I'm now paying about half of what my previous insurer was charging. Loren will work his hardest to get you the best deal while understanding the coverage that you want/need. I never felt pressured to make a decision right away. His professionalism was evident from the beginning, offering to me several quotes in no time and explaining in detail all my concerns. He's very professional and offers great rates. Everything was handled quickly and well. He wasn't pushy either - he was very patient with me which was great.. he has also made himself very available. I would recommend Loren to anyone - call him if you are looking to save money on insurance; it doesn't cost anything to get the quotes. Thank you Loren and keep up the good work!

I'm a AAA customer of 20 years+, most of them in California (there's no national AAA insurance, so your results will vary). That said, this location is basically a black hole of communications. I've been trying for weeks to give them more money and you'd think that's all a business would want but they will send you to email if you show up in person and then you can email them all effing day and nobody will respond to you. If you do get somebody in person to help, it's only partially accomplished: After several unanswered emails and two trips in person, half my request is done but for the rest it's "I can't do that and somebody will call you" and then nobody calls. In a nutshell, I am not blaming individual employees who did actually respond or help me, I'm blaming management and the company -- their yestertech is getting in the way of business. If the employee can't get functional services, of course they can't help me. But then I look online during a business day to see if my one successful interaction reflects results online (basically: prove it worked) and their website errors out and goes offline with the policy viewer. Whoops. So after 20 years, I'm shopping elsewhere. California AAA was awesome, this local office fails at basic commerce.

I had AAA in another state. Best insurance agency I strongly felt. I moved to this state and naturally went to AAA again for my car insurance. I spoke with an Agent, agreed on $289 a month for full coverage. I paid the full amount and initial starting policy fees. Later, I received three different letters on the same day. One letter stating I owe $370 a month. WTH, I'm thinking. Then I get another letter stating I owe $69 and some change. The last letter stated my policy was ending April 29th. AAA canceled my policy abruptly. I called the AAA office to inquire. It turns out that because I was involved in two separate accidents in February, I am deemed high-risk. I was not at fault in either accident, and AAA knows that. Then I get a call from another agent at the AAA office stating he can reinstate my insurance for $500.13 a month. I was irate at this point, believing AAA at this office to be corrupt and scammers. I denied them and ended the call peacefully. I signed with another insurance company. That company called AAA to ensure I was no longer insured with them. The AAA Agent stated my policy was canceled on April 14th. That statement contradicts the letter I received. Then the Agent says I still owe $69+ on the policy. How can that be I asked. I didn't cancel the policy, they did. He didn't know why and would get back to me. Reading this, AAA may work for you. All I am saying is beware of my situation so you don't fall into the same trap.

I've spent hours and hours on calls trying to make sure that my payments are all in the right place and that i have autopay enabled. Just a bunch of idiots that have no idea what they are doing. The worst AAA I ever had to deal with is right here in Texas. Stay away from them. If they cant figure out how to make sure that all my payments are in the right place imagine you will file a claim with them.

What a useless existence! I went in, policy papers in hand, to ask some questions about my coverage and billings and to request some changes to my policy. I've previously had some trouble reaching agents via email so I wanted to talk to someone in person. The agent at this location grabbed a pen and circled a 1-800 number at the bottom of my policy document and told me I'd have to call. He stopped just short of telling me "good luck". I literally asked, "What do you do here?" And the agent's response was that they don't have the expertise to make coverage changes at that location and again told me I would have to call. I think this place is good at helping old people with travel like for cruises and such, but if you have real insurance business to handle, this place is useless. I ended up calling later in the day and after 1.5hrs on the phone and two agents later, my policy issues were still not resolved and I still had questions that the agent was not able to answer for me. The people who work for AAA, either at the local locations or on the phone, just completely lack expertise when you need it. I'm so sick and tired of a complete lack of customer service from this company!

If I could leave not zero, but negative stars, I would. I just got off the phone with the rudest AAA agent I have ever come across in my life. He was arrogant and constantly interrupted me while I was trying to explain my situation. He is telling me that I will not get a refund for the payment that was automatically taken from my bank when I got new coverage with a new company on the same day. I had double coverage for a week because no one from AAA got back to me and I was finally able to speak to someone on the phone today. AAA's prices are outrageous, and unfortunately, I had to keep them for five more months due to being unable to get coverage elsewhere for my son. If I had to do it again, I would rather have no coverage than have AAA.

I have been trying to renew my policy for 4-days now, since last Thursday...still, with no result. How many Agents do I really need to go through in order to get answers. My annual policy expires on Wednesday, 27th, so I thought I had plenty of time to renew...WRONG!! I paid, last year, for a one-year policy, as it's cheaper to do it that way. I have spoken with 6 "Live" Agents,this go 'round, to send me an email, both to my phone AND to my work email. As requested, I wanted to send a copy of my odometre, for additional discounts. I never received an email on either source. I can accept that the rates have increased...what hasn't? But the rude, inept, non-professional representatives at AAA, leave a LOT to be desired. So much so, that I'm going with a different Ins' company after all. NOT a good way to interact with your Clients, Whom wanted to stay with AAA, but now are looking elsewhere. They lost my mom's car & wont return calls. She will get a hold of someone and they transfer her to someone who won't call back. They would not even assign her a case person for her claim. Worst ever.

We have been AAA members for many years because of the roadside assistance benefit. Unfortunately, the times that we've needed it, they have definitely dropped the ball. There was an issue a few years ago with my college-aged daughter having a tire blow-out on the highway and it took over two hours to arrive. Now, my youngest daughter (also away in college) had a tire blow-out. When she called they told her they would be there in an hour. When 1 1/2 hrs passed, she called and they told her the driver was on his way. When she called back at 3 hours, they said they couldn't hear her and hung up. When I called for her, they said they just sent the request and it would be at least 45 min. We still have no assistance. DO NOT RELY ON THEM TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR YOUR COLLEGE KIDS AWAY FROM HOME. There have to be better options. Update...six hours later and the driver never showed up, no call or any update from AAA. We're done. We are canceling our membership.

What used to be a good deal isn't any longer. The welcome back "offers" you get in the mail have temporary cards that aren't actually usable, even if you go online to pay before needing their services. How did I find that out? By calling the local office. The cards are just a promotional gimmick to get you to sign up. You won't have a card for proof of membership. It was recommended that I come in and leave with an actual paper card (with plastic to follow in the mail later). So I went in to sign up. The agent I spoke with earlier in the day (Patrick) had left for his house closing, so I was assisted by Brandy. I upgraded from the basic "Classic" membership to the mid-tier "Plus" membership for their higher mileage towing benefit (100 vs. 7). I asked Brandy twice if my membership was fully active and in force, and she said yes both times. This morning, I went online to check my account and found that it had been placed on a 7 day hold before full activation. By the way, calling AAA other than 8a-6p for such issues is pointless, as only emergency services are available. Calling at 8:02a resulted in a 15 minute hold time before reaching an agent. To put the customer spin on what I was told, in reality I get 1 week of "Classic" (cheapest) membership and 51 weeks of "Plus" membership. The 7 day hold also meant I couldn't update my information without calling the agent. Also, they were unable to provide any assistance with an existing car rental that has an advertised AAA membership points bonus without referring me to the car rental agency. When I expressed my dissatisfaction about the situation and requested an escalation, the only thing I was offered was to talk to the car rental agency. Nothing offered about the flim-flam on the AAA alleged benefits. In my opinion, AAA Texas has gone from a valuable roadside assistance service to a creeper scam. I can't imagine what their actual service will be like, but I'd imagine it's like the worst reviews here. Find another way to get a roadside assistance plan. It's no wonder AAA has a "hiring" sign outside their office.There can't be much satisfaction in working for this company. P.S. The nice lady at the counter tried to find me a current folio with all AAA benefits. She found one that was from 2013, and knew it wasn't correct or current. She then found one from 2015. Maybe that's the latest, maybe it isn't. They sure don't keep up with the times, either. It's 2018, folks!
