The environment is definitely that cool old Austin vibe. It has a great selection of works from local artists. A good variety in every price range. Eclectic, contemporary, framed, unframed, original works, prints, canvas, art paper, wood blocks, they have it all. I bought gifts and for myself.

I researched art in Austin prior to my business trip. I had the evening on Thursday to squeeze a few spots in and I wanted to see local artists. This did not disappoint. I was able to see several artists in one place AND purchase art as a souvenir of my trip. The customer service was super friendly and I cannot wait to go back if I find myself in Austin again!

I lived in Austin for a few years and visited a lot of different places for authentic, local art for my home. I really liked the pieces here, even if they weren't my type or style of art, because it really showcased the creativity of Austin. My favorite artist was Autumn Mae, and I love the last print of hers that I bought. The gallery building's a little tucked away from the main street (South Lamar Blvd) so walk towards the back, it'll be on your left.

Just like the name says, this is totally a garage. Such a cool concept! The art here is super trendy and eye-catching, my husband and I really enjoyed it! We also got the chance to meet one of the artists who is featured here, and she was super sweet! Helpful associates if you have any questions, and a really chill vibe here.

"Affordable" local art including both canvases and prints. Not much under $100 unless you want a small/unframed print, but it's fun to look around. Shop owner was helpful and offered to do prints of any size if they weren't already available in store.

Nice little art shop, very well lit, clean, and organized into 4 different rooms. The high ceilings also make it feel larger, and the rooms are pretty open, so you can see the pieces from different distances. There are a number of local artists' works, and a nice range of prices so you can grab something as a small gift, or for yourself (into the hundreds). There are some more expensive items but lots of work that are in the $100-300 range of decent size so you can find something that's worth the money for a nice piece of art. The shop is set back a bit in a sort of alley behind other stores/buildings, with a gravel lot, so if you're wondering where it is, there is a sign on the street pointing to the back.
