All I wanted was a trolley for my wedding...All I got from Austin Trolley/Carey of Austin was terrible service. I am planning a wedding in Austin and we thought it would be fun to have the wedding party ride together in a trolley and take pictures around Austin before the ceremony. This seemed like a simple request as Austin Trolley/Carey of Austin have an amazing looking trolley. I reached out to them via their website and heard nothing back. Only after reaching out two additional times via different methods (filling out their quote request, emailing them directly, etc.) did I finally hear back two weeks later. After several more long delays in email correspondence, I finally called them. I gave my requests to Laurie, who was also the person emailing me, and she said they had availability and she would email my quotes ASAP. Two days later I finally get a response to an email from three weeks before saying all their shuttles have been reserved. What?!? I called Laurie back to follow up and she gave me a rude attitude with the sentiment that this was my fault for waiting too long. I explained that I would have made a reservation earlier had she responded to my emails! I requested to speak to her supervisor, she said that person was unavailable and would call me back. Despite calling 3 more times, I still have on response from the supervisor. Due to their terrible service, I am now left without the trolley I wanted to reserve for my wedding.

My daughter had truly the best birthday party on board of the Austin Trolley Companies Trolley! We took it to the Boerne Trail of Lights and had an absolute blast. The driver, Elias, was so nice and accommodating and the Trolley was in the best shape. You could tell they take great pride in keeping it cleaned and sanitized for others to enjoy. Thank you Austin Trolley Company for giving our daughter the best 5th birthday party ever.

Drink and ride babyyyyyyyyy. Now that passengers can't drink in cars, driving's a lot less fun. That's where alternative forms of transpo come in like the beer peddler thing and party buses. Austin Trolley is yet another cool way to drive around town boozin' it up. We went on a booze crawl with Spicebox Whisky yesterday and the trolley itself was just a delight. So much fun rockin' around town in the A/C with some tunes and some delicious drinks. Why three stars? Glad you asked! The driver got lost not once. Not twice. But three times. And incidentally, all the stops were on THE SAME STREET. Here's a crazy notion: If you're going from 400 E 6th street to 222 E 6th street, you do NOT drive west to congress, turn around, CROSS I 35 and blithely head east. That's where I stepped in and politely pointed out that actually, all we had to do was drive two blocks. Driving 15 minutes around as we lose our buzz and making us late for our next stop isn't the best way to drive two blocks. The actual ride was great and the trolley was cool... but in the future, Austin Trolley, if there's a specific route your patrons will be taking, arm your driver with the directions or at least a modicum of knowledge of Austin streets. Going from Dirty Dog to Recess to Shiners to Rebels is something we could have easily walked in a much more efficient manner than what actually occurred.

Our wedding was made perfect by using Austin Trolley Company. They were on time, professional and just a lot of fun. The Trolley was spotless and romantic. We were able to fit the whole bridal party inside. It was a great. I would highly recommend them.

An awesome way to do wedding party pictures before the ceremony. The only thing I'd warn about is that there arent any seatbelts and when wearing a big white dress you may slip and slide on the seats during the ride!

WORST service ever. We rented a trolley from Austin Trolley Company for our wedding because over half our wedding was from out of town. They did get people to the church, but the aftermath was a total mess. Half our wedding had to take cabs back to the hotel after because the trolley still had not come for a half hour after our wedding ceremony. Then when I had to call to see where the trolley was they kept telling me it was on it's way. After our wedding reception had already started and I was still at the church I called again and was told "it's on it's way" and they hung up on me. The trolley did come - at 7:30 and our reception started at 7. They also went the wrong way from the directions I had given them, so me, my groom, and our out-of-town guests were stuck in Austin traffic down Fifth St. in the hot un-air conditioned trolley. Then today when I get back from our honeymoon we have not one but TWO charges from them on my credit card. Each $100 more than is on our contract that we owe them.

We booked Austin Trolley Company for our downtown wedding, to transport the wedding party between church/reception. When we were looking around for transportation, we really wanted a trolley. Austin Trolley Co was reasonably priced (similar to/slightly less than bus/limo bus options). Laurie was GREAT to work with and always responsive. She helped us nail down the day-of schedule. Our driver was fantastic! He arrived on time and we had no issues getting from place to place. We even stopped to take pictures at the Capitol at one point, and he handled it like a pro! We had plenty of room for our large wedding party, and plus-ones, AND, the trolley is in beautiful condition! Would highly recommend!

Terrible customer service. They "held" our date for our wedding then double booked it. Allie was a total space cadet and never called us back. When we called to see what was going on, the whole day was booked. WTF? So frustrating!
