Rating: 2.6/5 [take out] This food truck is located in a small food park with limited parking that surprisingly filled up quickly--even at 10 PM on a Sunday. The prices on the menu seemed a bit off; we ended up paying about $1.50 more than expected, and our receipt wasn't itemized--just a total. The woman working there was by herself and didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. Piña Colada (Regular $5 | Large $6): We got the large (24 oz) to share. The drink was thick and creamy rather than icy, and it didn't taste like a typical piña colada. It was more like a non-sweet pineapple smoothie. Pork Eggrolls ($4): Came with two medium-sized eggrolls that tasted like the frozen kind you'd find at a grocery store. Crispy Chicken Banh Mi Tacos ($10): Came with three tacos. The tortillas were a bit tough and hadn't been warmed up. That said, the crispy chicken was better than expected and similar to American popcorn chicken. Grilled Pork Banh Mi ($7) + Fried Egg ($1.50): The fried egg with a runny yolk was the highlighr of this banh mi. Unfortunately, the bread was dry and fell apart easily. The sandwich lacked filling, and I couldn't taste any pâté or egg mayo. The grilled pork was also disappointing. Overall, the food was mediocre. Given the location and food quality, I worry they won't be able to retain business unless they improve both their food and customer service.

This is seriously one of the best Bahn Mi's in town! I love the pork Bahn Mi personally, but every item is delicious and at such a fair price!

Food truck off Oltorf between S 1st and S Congress. We DoorDashed this order and it came pretty quickly. We tried the following: * Banh Mi (grilled pork) - decent bun and well stuffed with meat (lighter on the pickled veggies but a fair amount of jalapeños). The bun was on the smaller side (about an 8" bun). Liked this and would get it again. * Belly Bao Bun (grilled beef) - an order comes with three. These steamed rice buns are stuffed with grilled beef and topped with jalapeño, pickled carrots and cilantro. These were decent. * Lemon Pepper Wings - perfectly fried with a nice lighter batter they retained a good crunch. Flavor was good although the season was a little uneven. Some of the frying oil did pool on the bottom of the container but that's ok - we still crushed these. Came with a ranch dressing that was just meh for me. I'm looking forward to eating more from this place! Update: went by for another order of the same. Also took a photo of the menu board. They do smoothies and a few other items (including pho). My rating is based on the quality and taste of the Banh Mi Sandwiches which are excellent ! There are very few places in Austin that can put together a good Banh Mi. Unfortunately we cannot try the Pho since it is all meat based broth. Still looking for a good Pho place in Austin ...

Coming from Vietnamese background, I can assure you this spot is definitely top tier when it comes to authentic Vietnamese taste. Food came out maybe 5-10 mins and let me tell you I was right back in my grandmas kitchen eating her banh mi. Service was swift and the worker is very sweet and friendly.

One of my favorite places in austin! Great bahn mi and fresh spring rolls. I moved from Houston and have been generally disappointed in the Vietnamese offerings here. However, this place is my exception. This is my go to for pho, bahn mi and springrolls. Ingredients are fresh and actually have flavor. Food truck is unassuming but proprietor is very nice and always always willing to accommodate requests. Food can take a little while as it is just her, but it comes out freshly made and very worth waiting for. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Great hidden find!

Banh mi was overly salty (but not inedibly so). Pho oddly had the same, salty banh mi meat in it instead of typical pho meat. The pho portion was very large. The broth container was not wrapped to double-seal, and was delivered lying on its side. I was surprised it survived the trip without bursting open! Fresh enough. Flavors were fine. Nothing special. The worst dish I tried was the fried egg rolls (pork). Absolutely disgusting. Greasy, not cooked through, no discernible veggies in the filling. Instead of the crisp golden-brown shell one might expect, there was an oil-soaked, tough, chewy, blonde wrapper and the filling had a strange, unpleasant flavor. These went in the garbage.

The pho was decent. The beef banh mi was extremely over salted. The bbq fries were just gross and also over salted. I think this place just tried to do too many things. I don't think I will be ordering again. Unfortunately, I don't think eating from the source would change anything. I also read in a previous review that there were jalapeños on the banh mi. I had none on my sandwich, but plenty in my pho. I would also like to mention they did give plenty of cilantro in the pho which is a plus and often left out in Austin.

Took less than 10 mins to get my food. Banh mi bread is a really good texture. Flavors reminded me of more traditional home cooking/marinades so that was a plus for me. FYI the filling is on the spicer side if that's not your thing. Baos we're good but had a lot of sauce. Flavor of the protein was good though. One review said it was salty - yes I will say all the food was on the saltier side but it's probably just the nuoc mam (fish sauce). Overall - I'd come back for the Banh Mi.

If you're looking for great bahn mi and bao this definitely isn't the place! Can't speak for the rest of the menu but everything I ordered was really salty with a lack of any real flavor. Really wanted to like this place but sadly it is really mid and unpalatable
