SO GOOD. I came by for the queen beak sandwich with a friend who raves about it, and it was absolutely delicious. You order on tablets and it takes a while for the food to come out since they make it to order, but worth the wait. Not much outdoor seating but they have a little water station set up with utensils and napkins. Affordable pricing, ($11-13 for a sandwich) and quality really speaks for itself. They've got three locations now! However, this is the only one I've ever been to. Cute little restaurant by two guys who became friends working at Thunderbird coffee shop. Well, Ryan owned it and Brian worked there. Anyway, these guys bring chicken and biscuits together like nobody's business. Everything is made to order so you know you're getting fresh food each and every time. I dig the Firebird chicken sandwich. It's simple and bomb at the same time. Fried chicken (spicy), pickles, cilantro and dill mayo. Portions are big enough for sharing. The Little Bird brekkie sandwich is my other go-to. They've got fries and other sides as well as a selection of sauces. Biscuits & gravy, biscuits & jam, etc. All of it is sheer perfection when it comes to comfort food. Did you know they serve cinnamon & sugar biscuit holes? THEY ARE SO ADDICTIVE! A+!

Bird Bird Biscuit -- where the biscuits are fluffy, the chicken is crispy, and time apparently slows down just enough for you to truly appreciate both. Let's start with the star of the show: the biscuits. Wow. These aren't your dry, crumbly "grandma tried but forgot the butter" biscuits. These are fluffy, buttery marvels that somehow hold their shape like a sandwich pro. A structural and culinary feat! We tried the Little Dipper grilled cheese first, and while it didn't offend anyone, it also didn't start any standing ovations. The biscuit was great (again, shoutout to the biscuit department), but the cheese and dipping sauce were a little too... ordinary. If this had been our only dish, I would've left feeling like I'd been stood up by flavor. And yes, waiting over thirty minutes for a grilled cheese did have me checking to see if the cows were still being milked and the wheat freshly ground. But then -- redemption arrived in the form of the Carolina Caviar. Cue the heavenly music... Crispy, golden fried chicken perfection, layered with flavor-packed sauces and perfectly tangy pickles -- all held together by one of the best biscuits to ever grace a chicken sandwich. This one didn't just save the meal; it raised it to greatness. Worth. Every. Minute. And the fries? Absolute delight. Crisp on the outside, tender inside, with just the right touch of seasoning. The kind of fries that make you wonder if it's too soon to order another bag "for the road." The place itself has a fun, laid-back vibe -- the kind where you half-expect someone to high-five you after your first bite. All in all, a solid four stars. Bird Bird Biscuit serves up some true Southern comfort with a side of patience training. When you hit the right menu items, it's so worth the wait.

On my visit to Austin, I was somewhat hesitant to visit only the tourist trap/ famous eateries. I had hopes that I would find some sort of social media thread, touting the deliciousness of lesser known establishments. Instead, I found a thread that originally began as a negative review For bird bird biscuit, but, I was so impressed by the owners responses to the negativity that I decided immediately to go to bird bird biscuit for an early lunch. Additionally, inside this social media thread were patrons who exalted bird bird as an excellent eatery so I knew that I needed to check it out for myself. Luckily, it was a Monday just before 11 AM, and it was blessedly quiet only a few patrons at the tables. I ordered what I think it was called the queen bee or something and a strawberry lemonade. I waited about 10 minutes from my order to be prepared and I sat down at one of the Wooden patio benches to eat, the fence to the left of me, decorated with plants and vines and yes, a little bird bird came chirping through the fence line which I thought was sweet. NOW onto this chicken sandwich that I ordered. I can only say with the very first bite. I knew that it was absolutely delicious. It was absolutely stupendous. It was absolutely one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had in my life. The chicken was a giant slab of moist crunchy Goodness with a perfectly baked biscuit that barely crumbled when you bit into it. The sauces, balanced flavors just really a good job done by all I was impressed and I was thankful that I made the decision to go. Also, you need to know I only ate half while it was hot and later on I finished it off cold and it was still the best chicken biscuit I've ever had.

I'm not a biscuit girlie at all.....in fact, I would rather eat a piece of cardboard than have one. My boss ordered them for me and my coworker, so I couldn't say "no"......this turned out pretty good.....for a biscuit.......mind you I'm a biscuit hater..... Will I go there on my own? Probably not, unless peer pressured. Will I recommend it? Sure why not.

The secret is out, the food is fire. There was a like to order, and a like to pick up your food but once you got it you were transported to heaven. I just wish they had a little more shade and parking for when it gets REALLY busy but what can you do

Hands down the best biscuits and chicken sandwiches around! The biscuits are absolute perfection, crumbly, moist, buttery, and never dry out your mouth. The chicken is everything you want: super crunchy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Every bite works together so well that the flavor never gets old. I also love that it's a grab-and-go style spot perfect for the vibe and exactly how it should be. I'll definitely be back, and I'll be coming hungry!

Stopped by here on a Monday before I leave back to California. My very good friend recommended this spot and I must say this spot is one of my absolute favorite. I can't lie I'm not a big fan of biscuits. I just never was maybe because I never had any good biscuits before, but this spot single handedly changed my perspective on that. The food here was immaculate! I placed my order through the QR code and I ordered the Queen Beak and the Bird Bird Bacon. The staff at the pick up menu was very kind and friendly, which I appreciate so much. Queen beak - friend chicken breast, spiced black pepper honey sauce, bacon-infused chipotle mayo. I added bacon as well cause I got it like that. Quite honestly I was scared it'll be a little too saucy, but that was not an issue one bit. Super buttery biscuit with it's soft touch followed up with that juicy chicken breast was spectacular. The honey sauce made it sweet and that chipotle mayo was savory. The bacon with it was crunchy and plentiful. Most definitely a top sandwich. Bird Bird Bacon - bacon, egg over medium, cheddar, bacon-infused chipotle mayo. I love me some bacon, egg, and cheese. One of the most superior breakfast foods of all time and this sandwich was exactly that. The bacon was plentiful and crispy. They aint skimpin on that bacon that's fsho. The egg was cooked perfectly just the way I like it. The cheddar cheese was melted just right. Incredibly grateful to my friend of introducing me to this spot. Now I'm a fan of biscuits, but more their biscuits. Buttery biscuits with amazing variety of options. I ordered two and one was definitely enough. Very hearty and heavy, but was so immaculate. I did not regret that one bit. One of my must eat places in Austin. Now I can't wait till I'm back to indulge in their wonderful sandwiches. Oh my gosh. I love the breakfast sandwich I got. It's called Lovely Day. And I have to say, it really was a lovely day. I had this beautifully crafted biscuit breakfast sandwich. Chicken sausage, cheese, fried egg and a basil pesto. The biscuit is that beautiful southern, light, flaky, even buttery like biscuit. Can't rave enough about the biscuit. Sandwich was huge. Literally I tapped out at half way. I ate the other half a little later. About the location. A couple parking spots. Street parking is tight. Meaning cars park on both sides of the street, which makes 2 cars driving a little challenge. You have to pull over to let the bigger car go, and proceed when they pass. You order at a kiosk. Place your order, pay. You give your phone number and they text you when it's ready. They have signs for "order here" and "pick up here" so if it's your first time you know what to expect. Seating is outside. They have a couple seats, bar like. Facing the street. I would assume most people pick up and go. Door dash, etc. it's in a residential area. Can't wait to go back. My sandwich today was about $10.00

One of the best biscuit sandwiches I've ever had! We stopped early morning on a Friday- our first meal of the trip. I wasn't sure what to expect but we were so glad we stopped. No seating inside, but that was ok with us. We ordered on the computer outside and waited in the sunshine for our order. Let's get to the good stuff. The chicken sandwich was outstanding!! Spicy, crunchy, soft, creamy- all the things you want. And those pickles...yes! The biscuit had amazing texture and flavor. Put this on your Austin food bucket list.
