Really poor customer service! Gave us the wrong order and made a disturbed face at me as it was my fault. Showed her the receipt and refused to accept that she was wrong. The food was mid and a decent for airport food. I got a breakfast sandwich with sausage.

Such a shame- the food is actually pretty tasty but the service was so bad we wont be coming back for future flights. The person behind the counter was on her phone I think? Could not have cared less about customers. They got our order wrong - no big deal it happens - but when we asked for what we ordered OMG the attitude. They had us show them our receipt to prove they didn't give us what we ordered. Once we did it was eye rolls, sighs- so rude. Normally I wouldn't make a deal of it but for health reasons I couldn't eat what they did give us. So disappointing- hope others have a better experience!

I challenge any executive representative of Cafe Medici to "secretly shop" at the Austin airport and not fire everyone and shutter the location immediately. I'd forgive the dead-eyed barista who begrudgingly served us if her parents had recently passed and she was swimming in a cocktail of grief and Xanax. However, the drink she made tasted vaguely of expired chocolate, pencil shavings, and a scoop of murky puddle water from the airport parking lot. That the order was "chai" seems irrelevant. What we received leaned closer to a salty iced Yoohoo with a suggestion of stranger-burp. Medici's one of my favorite cafes in Austin. Why this location exists and survives is a mystery and abomination. Caio !

We stopped by this place on our flight out and we really enjoyed it. The service was quick and friendly and the food and coffee was really good. It wasn't too pricey either. My mom and I both got a bagel breakfast sandwich and they were great. I got an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was really good as well. There was a little market area to buy other stuff and they had pastries as well and a few tables in front to sit at. I would definitely go here again!

Walk right by the enormous Starbucks line-- the first thing you see inside departures. When you get to Gate 7, you can have coffee and pastries with no wait!

The coffee was actually pretty good. I had the Americano. We were here at 5:15, so there was no line. Nevertheless, the employee just stared at me when I ordered. Unkn to me, she didn't speak a word of English. When I asked for my cinnamon roll to be warmed up, she again just stared. Finally I waved for another employee and she warmed it up Advice for management, you are charging a premium for the pastries. They look delicious. BUT, my cinnamon roll was NOT FRESH. I couldn't take it back because I had split it with my wife. Why don't you throw out the old rolls and stock fresh ones???

It was just okay. The coffee was better than Starbucks, but the pastries I consider a rip off. I was there early in the morning, and you would think pastries would be freshest then. Mine was so dry that I could tell it was days old, and that after a slight warm up. I would not get the pastries here. Beware.

I ordered a cappuccino. An 8 ounce cup is almost $7 with tax. It was bitter tasting and not what I expected. It's a shame places like this exist.

I don't like coffee, but I went here for a simple sandwich as it was the closest restaurant that was open. I don't remember exactly what the sandwich was, but I ordered a turkey sandwich that was toasted, had some kind of cheese, and some kind of greens. I enjoyed it even if it was fairly pricey. The staff were professional and quick. It was the perfect experience for a quick eat before getting on a flight, except for the price. If anyone is able, I'd like to know the exact ingredients for that turkey sandwich I had. I regret not taking note of it myself, and would like to make it sometime.
