We got chips and queso w barbacoa while we waited on our plane. Super quick, super fresh, super yummy. The salsa is good too. Great stop before a flight!

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality & price at this spot. The South Terminal doesn't have a ton of options when it comes to legit food options, but for this being the main attraction it met all my needs before the flight. The red salsa that I had with my chips & salsa was very good. Had a bit of a garlicky cilantro & jalapeno spice that was nice, and their 2 crispy tacos for $6 were pretty loaded up. Their hours here seem to be incorrect because at 4 PM it lists it as closed, yet they're definitely open and say they're going to be open till about 6 PM today (Monday).

Grabbed a breakfast taco before my flight at the south terminal. This taco truck is so good and the service was pretty quick! A good sized breakfast taco, bigger than most I would say. And I loved that the food truck was on the patio outside of the airport gates. Very cute outdoor seating :)

Every airport should have a taco truck and a patio. Even in Michigan. Get those heaters out and blast some music - I'll be there. It was nice to be able to sit outside one last time and soak up the Texas heat before flying back to Michigan in March! De Nada Tacos is a taco truck set up on the patio outside at the South Terminal of the Austin airport, where Frontier and Allegiant flights depart and arrive. There was quite a bit of seating outside but it did fill up as more travelers came through. I love that De Nada Tacos serves breakfast tacos as well as lunch and dinner. Nate and I ordered one barbacoa taco and one carnitas taco. The barbacoa taco was tasty, and more seasoned than the one at Veracruz. The meat itself was super soft and a bit fatty. The carnitas was a little bit dry but we liked the interesting seasoning - we saw sesame seeds on that one. The tacos came with some tiny salsas, but we also got chips and salsa that had a bit of heat. You can get drinks from the bar inside or outside, and Topo Chico, Jarritos, bottled water, etc. from the coolers by the truck. This was our final stop in our impromptu taco crawl! Quick service and yummy tacos, but their menu is much smaller than the East location so I missed out on some of my go-tos. Ordered the one veggie taco and it was a nice pre-flight snack. Hours of operation are a bit odd. It closed in the afternoon on a Friday so no chance for dinner there for anyone boarding a later flight.

Solid Tacos. Fresh tortillas. Tacos made-to-order! Fair prices for what you get. We had simple breakfast tacos but they were Loaded Full. Good flavor. Very satisfied. They also offer ice cold drinks outside too!

It's toco bell food at a high price hiding behind the words 'authentic'. I was so excited to have some tacos. Big let down. We got 2 tacos for $6.50 with the corn tortilla. I was not expecting a hard shell. Any one who eats or is Mexican knows we don't use hard for the tacos. Straight up it was exactly like a hard shell taco from Taco Bell. The disappointment I felt was unreal! Don't get me wrong I love Taco Bell. It's however not by any means 'authentic' Mexican food! The marketing of the food truck was very much leaning towards traditional street tacos. It's not that. Save your self the time and just get pizza from the inside cafe.

A local food truck at the airport?! You're speaking my language! The tiny South Terminal at the Austin airport rocks a small-yet-festive outdoor courtyard with the De Nada Food truck, a big bar, and colorful seating everywhere. You can also hear the flight attendant announcements while you're outside on the courtyard, making it the perfect pre-flight hang out. It was also awesome to be able to eat food outside since I didn't want to take my mask off inside but was starving! Their menu offers nachos, tacos, chips and salsa (or queso), walking tacos, and drinks. I ordered the crunchy beef tacos and loved every bite. They were super simple, but the meat was seasoned perfectly and I loved the hard shell and simple toppings. They come with two tacos and you can choose the heat level of your salsa. The Tacos are fresh and the quality is there. But - the Spinach and mushrooms in the La Dona hold so much liquid that the tacos are mushy.
