This hotel is old and outdated. A renovation is definitely needed. The breakfast was meh, but at least housekeeping did come upon request the next day (unlike another Marriott hotel the previous weekend). Housekeeping is available every other day of your stay. The hotel also provided free ice cream each day, and luckily I'd brought root beer for homemade root beer floats. Because of the free ice cream daily when it's 100°F outside, I gave 3 stars instead of 2. The hotel room had continuous air conditioning, a mini fridge (no freezer portion), and a small coffee maker. Free coffee and tea are available 24/7 next to the lobby though I can't attest personally for trying. A friend said it was "serviceable" but admitted he's a coffee snob. This doesn't affect my rating since it's not my personal experience, but FYI don't plan on using any gift certificates. The front desk told my friend to use at checkout, the guy at checkout didn't know how to do, and my friend was instructed to call back after 3 pm when a manager arrived. My friend did so but then the manager said they have to be redeemed in person, so please come back. We'd already checked into the next hotel in another city. My friend is currently in dispute with corporate Marriott who only gave him 5000 points so far (gift certificates worth $250). You've been warned!

A very nice and quiet hotel in the Domain area. What makes it outstanding is the wonderful warm welcome from the staff. You cant fake a genuine welcome. I will definitely be back.

Solid place for a budget hotel. I think what makes the experience worth it is the generally good staff attitude and accommodations. Expecting to spend $100-140/night depending weekend/number of people per room. The building is a little aged and the humidity is high but it's a solid value. It's your at Fairfield Inn- you know the drill; slightly better than continental breakfast, gym, pool, etc l. Grounds maintained well. Parking per night is $4-5. Responsive staff on the app. A few worn areas in the room and furnishings but it's not in a bad part of town at all. Unfortunately the domain is not realistically walkable due to crossing a highway from this location. Internet is stable and the kicker is this place offers daily house keeping and they actually accommodate requests. Those allergic to pets they do allow dogs in here but they're not staying in the upper floors or elevators. Solid 4. Can be a 5, but need to fix up a few things around the facilitators and rooms.

This place is old. Our room smelled of a mixture of dust and cigarette smoke. Called Marriott to ask if we could go to another Marriott property and they were less than helpful. I'm a Marriott rewards member and I've never been to a property this poor. I booked via the app and I should have read the reviews. Won't make that mistake again.

I had a customer reschedule an appointment so I wanted to see if I could check in early. As soon as I walked in and saw Mellisa with a big smile I knew it was going to work out for me. Thank you Mellisa and keep doing a wonderful job!

Unfortunately had a bad stay here. I woke up at 4am due to feeling multiple things crawling on my face and neck. I jump up and slap them off and turn on the light to see 2 massive cockroaches running on the pillow. I immediately try and hunt them down while waking my wife as she goes into a panic attack because she already has Katsaridaphobia (fear of roaches). I wake my daughter up since one runs under her sofa bed and am able to kill one. I take the dead ROACH I killed to front desk and show the night audit and she tells me she will switch my room to another. We gather our belongings while my wife is already telling me how she is throwing everything away because we don't know if eggs were laid in our backpacks or clothing. We leave room 223 and go into room 321. As I turn on the light by the bed I see a huge ROACH run under the bed while seeing another dead one by the light stand. I head back down to front desk and it's already close to 6am now. Speak with the agent and she says they will cancel my stay so I can go to another hotel. I wait until 7am 715am to speak with management but am told they won't be in until later in the day but they would contact me. I have to gather my wife and daughter and belongings and look for another hotel to stay in which already made things more inconvenient. Nobody ever reached out to me and as a Marriott Bonvoy member I'm very disappointed. 2 days go by and nothing until I call corporate. Avoid this nasty hotel they don't care about you

Another budget hotel in Austin, except this is next to the fairly popular area of the Domain and Arboretum. Located about 30 min from the airport and 20 min from downtown Austin, not the most centrally located for going to Austin, but plenty of things to do nearby. This fairfield is definitely not the newest, decent size lobby, efficient enough check-in. Parking lot is nicely sized so no issues there. Oh, breakfast is always decent Marriott budget solid - really enjoy the waffles. Rooms are typical budget fairfield - somewhat thin sheets, comfortable enough bed. Rooms are actually decently spacious, bathroom is small but usable. Didn't have too much noise at night keeping me up so isolated well enough (but also not super busy when I went). Wi-fi worked well.

Hotel was very comfortable and cozy! Welcoming environment and helpful staff. We checked in at around 10 or 11 pm and enjoyed our time at Fairfield. The hotel is located right off the highway, near the domain and maybe 10-12 minutes away from downtown Austin, Texas. Breakfast is served at 9am.
