Four, Five, Six is a VIBE!! The staff are definitely homies, so chill, and instant friends! Tater and Taylor are SO damn chill, and make the bar such a fun place to be! The interior is stuck in a time that needs to be experienced by all, it's seriously like being in a west Texas living room at someone's grandfathers house! There's taxidermy, a vintage poker table, a pool table, a cigar tee machine and vibes for days! There's a huge back patio, and they are dog friendly both inside and out, which is a god send in the Texas heat!! They have one of the greatest HH menus I've seen in a while! From 4-7, the beers are as cheap as $1, and Buffalo Trace as cheap as $4!! That's just crazy! Each hour the price changes though, so get here early and saddle up sally! Rumor has it that there will be some secret shows, be it music, comedy, whatever, that won't be announced, and they'll never charge. There's some big names coming so you'll just have to be here, and you won't regret it! This bar is a vibe that East Austin needed, free from chirpy music and news or ESPN on tv, traded for vintage jams and old reruns of NFL games from the days when football was gritty and wild and free. This place is a feeling that needs to be felt, so get on down to the 4,5,6!

Heck, yeah, y'all! I am going to start with the not-so-best thing, and it's minor and really a non-issue for me since I can walk or take a car service. However, parking is limited. Now the good stuff! I cannot get enough of the vintage, lodge-style bar! They've only just opened in June 2025 and are still working the kinks out, though honestly, I didn't experience any issues at all. I could live here. Ok, that's crazy talk. But is it? They have pool tables, and I like to think I can play, but, ha, no. Happy hour offerings are stellar. Staff are stellar. Digging that live music is a part of the venue. Wouldn't really be Austin otherwise, now would it? Decor, ambiance, think cowboy meets old Austin meets antique shop meets booze and fun. Super cool service, and they're nice to my fuzzy little dog, so that's always a win.

We came on opening day and my takeaway is they need a little polishing but I would 100% come out again! The vibe is chill and retro; think Mama Dearest but without the creepy doll/skin lamps/incest vibe . We literally bombed the place with 8 people right at open so things were a little hectic but the bartender was friendly and accommodating with the happy hour specials, giving us alternate beers at the same price since the one we wanted wasn't cold. The parking is limited but the street behind it has more free spots- just keep an eye on the parking signs. There apparently will be a food truck but it wasn't open at the time we visited. Space was fun, music was great, the seating was comfortable, and the price sure was right! Give this place a try! Bonus points if you take pics of the basketball playing lynx because I completely forgot to lol! Edit: seriously keep an eye on the parking signs! We parked on the side street (Adam L Chapa), accidentally in front of someone's side gate- NOT a driveway- and they squirted mustard on my hood and drivers door :/ I swear I didn't see a sign when we parked but there was a personal "no parking" sign on the gate when we returned. Frustrating thing is there was a dude in the back yard when we parked and he didn't say anything to us...

The bartenders are great and the service was great! The overall look of the place is awesome and has an old look and it's great.. they have a food truck in the back and the food is good. Had a great overall experience. The happy hour specials are so awesome..

This is my new favorite spot in town! The decor is so charming, cool, & unique, it feels like someone's home in the best way. The drinks are so cheap, I don't think I've ever come across better happy hour deals. The bartender was super friendly and helpful. Definitely come here with some friends and try a mini beer shot!

Was recommended here from next door by Mandy at high noon. Nicky was my bartender. Very nice guy. Enjoyed talking baseball with him and another customer Eric. Porn on the 60's tv was the best touch to a bar I've ever seen. Usually play pool when a place has a table but didn't here cuz had a great time without It. Definitely recommend this place! Also referred me to nickel city for wings and was one of the best recs I've ever got
