Paid 19$ for dinner Food was okay, your paying for the "all you can eat" very large food selection, salads, soup, taco, pasta, pizza Ham 5/10 bit dry Chicken 8/10 Steak 1/10 is always terrible, so dry its barely edible Sausages 6/10 dessert 8/10 cakes were too sweet for my taste Ambiance 3/10 temperature in the restaurant was a bit warm, bathroom very humid, saw ants crawling next to me on the wall. Ever since the recent chages; it has been fairly okay. Today, we came and found so much offensive decor (some Halloween decor). This is not a federal holiday and only a pagan celebration which not everyone participates. So much that many people do not openly state if mental issues; which these items are a trigger to their inner peace. No one wants to have to physically avoid the foid stations to not have to endure such horrific decor. It us very unwelcoming to try to enjoy a late lunch and not being able to go to all stations to choose. It is getting harder and harder to take out my older/younger family members around October to any "family friendly" places and not feel these "mental triggers".

I placed a order online and when I walked into the establishment to pick up my food I was NOT greeted by friendly employees. The ladies that were at the front counter looked at me with disgust as if I was some bum off the street. I even asked her why she looked at me in that manner. As the terrible interaction continue I informed her that I was picking up an order that I placed online and then she had the audacity to say that they don't do phone in orders or online orders. After repeating my name to her the other lady made her way over to what I'm guessing to be the staging area for to go orders and that's when she seen my name Total lack of customer service and I felt as if my business wasn't appreciated. If I had not paid online I would have turned around and walked out. From my visit I noted these short comings. 1. Lack of training, how do you not know that your company does online orders? 2.The greeting was one of the worst that I have ever encountered. No smile, no acknowledgement of me as a customer, but when people walk in as I was leaving and they looked liked her, everything changed. 3. The facial expression that she gave when I ask where do I pick up my order. I didn't get their name, but I was there around 3:19 - 3:23. It was 2 Hispanic girls , the one at the desk was the rudest one.. You all have cameras, you need to review them. I will sent this complaint to your corporate office as well.

The last time I've been to a Golden Corral was in 2019 in Puyallup, Washington. This location is traditionally huge and just the way I recall it in California. The one in Washington is small. I came in with my Austin family today 10/27/24. They were generous to treat me. Yayyyy!! The weekend lunch price is $14.29 per person. Senior citizens price is $13.29. We all go the sweet tea which is $2.99 each. The restaurant packed a pretty great crowd. An abundance of food and pastries, grill station, seafood station, salad bar and much more! They no longer have the chocolate fondue, however, what is offered are the chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered marshmallows and semi chocolate covered rice krispies. I ate a good amount of food and ended with desserts: cheesecake, banana pudding, bread pudding, churro, chocolate pudding and banana icee, strawberry icee mixed with vanilla ice cream. The icee machine scared the heck out of me as it sprayed the both icee'son my bowl. LOL! The servers were very nice and attentive. They picked up the used plates timely and provided refills when low. I would return back here when back in Austin.

I was disappointed to eat at GCB today. Salad bar not fresh as used to be few years back. Meats & veggies bar look over cooked. The seafood bar look fresh but salty fried fish will us seniors. The waitress are unfriendly especially toward Asian. I need help and they ignored me so they can service the Hispanic family even I raised my hand for help. People are rushed to get their food almost ran into you. The only thing is OK is the restaurant restroom kept clean. I go to GCB because I love their salad bar and seafood bar on Friday now food is overdone and too much salt in everything. I chose to stop eating at GCB for now. Maybe I be back next year to see any improvements and changes. 5 years ago I love to go GCB with friends and family. Don't take my words for it because everyone opinions are different but go and see it for yourself. Thank you and blessings

We decided to spend our Thanksgiving day here, wow I didn't realize others had the same idea well any who I like the idea of there being a different variety of food to choose from, of course I had to get the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce. There were some hit and misses, After that it was on, the one thing that really caught my attention was the fish, OMG this was the best tasting fish I have had this far, seasoned very well and very delicious. I have to give a shout out to Tania she was very nice, helpful and attentive.

When I go to Heaven, I'm going to hi-5 the dude or dudette who invented buffets, as he/she made places like this possible. The price amazes me. We got 3 meals for under $36 and many non-buffets have higher prices. This price especially rocks in this day of inflation! I appreciate unlimited portions, especially since I am an ultra runner. Some of the food is lower quality, but that is the tradeoff. They especially rock at cooking potatoes! The best item was the most ironic: potato chips. Their homemade potato chips were unbelievably delicious. They transformed boring potato chips into culinary masterpieces. Hurray for buffets!

So disappointing. I wanted the fried chicken and waited for the fresh batch for this. Fresh off the grease fried chicken has a fly imbedded in the batter, in the flap of the skin of the chicken. disgusting! I show it to Elvia the waiter where she took my plate and showed it to someone, I assume a manager and they never came back to my table. 0/0
