First Greyhound station that doesn't smell like ass, diapers and piss lol it's also extremely tiny and nowhere to sit. The staff is kind but the buses are ehhhh. But it gets the job done. I still prefer the others.

What a disaster! Coldest morning on record, showed up early, nobody to let me in. Then they said it would be late. It never showed up. They lied and said it came by. After over 2 hour in the cold, had to pay $50 to uber from Georgetown to Austin airport!

Text updates on bus delays and other things, pretty much has ruined my vacation for this weekend. Checked my ticket yesterday and did not inform of a delay, get to the bus station at 7:10 while in my uber I checked my ticket and all of a sudden there's a delay for pickup at 10:40. So went to go get food nearby after asking the lady a few questions about the situation, I get back and ask her if anything has changed and she said no and if I wanted to I could change bus stations to stay somewhat on schedule, and I thought to myself that extra money I don't have right now I've already put a lot in this trip, so I went outside to get some fresh air go back in and the lady goes you missed the bus. This is the second fucking time greyhound has done this shit to me, y'all need to start doing mass text notifications, we do have the technology for it!!!

Greyhound Bus Line, how do you manage to be this consistently terrible? I mean, is there some secret internal memo that says, "Let's see how bad we can mess up people's lives today"? You had ONE job--fill the bus with gas before departure. How do you send a bus out on a trip without enough gas? Do you think we enjoy sitting around for THREE hours, watching the driver scramble to find a pump? That's not a delay--that's a slap in the face! Not a single apology or even acknowledgment that this was YOUR fault. You stole time from everyone on that bus, and for what? A free lesson in how not to run a business? And let's talk about the condition of your so-called "terminals." I've been to fresher crime scenes. Why is it that every Greyhound terminal smells like someone just finished mopping the floor with regret and broken dreams? The seats are cracked, the floor looks like it hasn't seen a mop since the Clinton administration, and the air conditioning--if you can call it that--barely works. You've got people crammed in there like Vienna sausages, standing shoulder to shoulder, and we all know Vienna sausages aren't exactly gourmet. Why are we packed in like that, waiting for buses that are almost always late? You're running a bus line, not a human trafficking ring. Then, once we finally board the bus--after waiting three hours because you couldn't remember to fill up the tank--the situation somehow gets even worse. The buses themselves are a disgrace. The seats feel like they've been upholstered with sandpaper, and I swear, I found a fossilized french fry wedged in the crack of mine. The windows were so dirty that I couldn't tell if we were driving through a city or the post-apocalypse. And don't even get me started on the smell--musty is putting it lightly. It's like your buses are incubators for every foul odor that's ever existed. Greyhound, why are you still using Wi-Fi technology from 2002? This garbage signal can barely load a webpage, let alone allow anyone to get actual work done. You're charging customers premium prices for Wi-Fi that wouldn't even cut it in the Myspace era. Are you ripping us off on purpose, or are you really just that out of touch? The whole system is a joke, and it's borderline theft to even advertise that you offer Wi-Fi when it clearly doesn't work. You have the audacity to charge people for this "service" when it's clear your focus isn't on comfort, cleanliness, or even basic customer satisfaction. You're not Greyhound; you're a stray dog of a company, constantly fumbling the basics and still expecting people to come back. Every trip feels like a punishment, not a journey, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. So here's my question to you: How are you still in business? It's like you're trying to make travel as miserable as possible. I'd rather hitchhike than ever set foot on one of your disgusting, gasless, overpriced buses again. Do better, or better yet, just close down altogether and save us all the trouble.

Their route from Austin to Corpus Christi advertised as direct. It is not. I put my 86 year old mother on the bus and on her return trip, she was stuck in the San Antonio bus station for 5 hours while they waited for a new driver. She didn't get home until 1am. Unacceptable. Horrible bus line.

This place is old and needs a remodel or needs a make over or needs jesus. But I think jesus can not even help them. Anyway they are sometimes helpful and sometimes rude. Just I guess depends on when they clocked in or how long they have been there working. The restrooms are decent, sometimes dirty or filthy but then sometimes they are clean.

I would rate it 0 stars if that were possible. I was stranded in Waco on July 4th after arriving at the bus terminal 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time only to find that the bus had come and gone. I am blind and was depending on this bus to get home in Austin. I called Greyhound and was told the bus left the station at 1:47 (scheduled to leave at 2:10) and that it's up to the driver whether to wait and leave at the scheduled departure time. She also refused to reimburse me. I had to uber to Austin, costing me well over $100. I have limited modes of transportation due to my blindness, but I will NEVER use Greyhound again. Daniel

This is a fine and affordable transit option for going around Texas. We planned to visit Waco, so decided to do so with Greyhound Bus Lines. We had a 7:30AM departure, and the bus was slightly late, due to traffic. But we were able to still get to Waco at a fairly good time. The Austin location is located in north Austin, right off of a main highway. It was easy to find, and since we were here early in the morning, it wasn't as busy as I've seen bus stations before. Most people were heading with luggage to other major cities, like Dallas and Houston. However, there were a few people heading to Waco. And when we boarded, every seat was taken since people were en route to another destination. At the station were bathrooms and soda and snack machines. Seats were comfortable enough. Leg room was narrow, but what you'd expect for a non-luxury bus. I did see they had outlets in some of the seats, but unsure if wifi was available. I mostly slept on the bus ride, as with everyone else for the early morning ride. I would suggest taking Greyhound as an affordable way to get around Texas, if you don't mind the long ride.

Thankfully I never rode a greyhound bus, but I've had the misfortune of coming here so that I can catch a bus from another bus company. While I expect Greyhound to be the crappiest option for transportation, I try to avoid staying for long. The workers here are all miserable human beings. They cannot answer any questions without being rude, and many of them are as shady as the customers that frequent Greyhound. At the very least they consistently treat people of all backgrounds with contempt. The bathrooms are filthy, and the chairs are wobbly and hurt your back. The parking situation at the front of the station also sucks. Park at the back of the station where the buses are since no one ever thinks to park there. Just use your common sense and don't park at where the buses park. Who knows the amount of chewing out you'll be subject to by the workers if you do so. Most of the people here are either old or poor. As a result, I consistently see people that look like they would want to rob you if you weren't indoors. For some reason they all smell strongly of something whether it be cheap perfume, cigarettes, or drugs in general. Thankfully I schedule a ride before I arrive to Greyhound. If you don't have a ride, then taxis are parked outside. They are located outside where the Greyhound buses are parked. While I despise Greyhound, nothing can beat the convenience. But if you're wanting to be taken to a different state, then the prices are comparable to flying on a cheap airplane. Consider flying on a low cost airline such as Allegiant or American because it'll be much safer.

Must be one of the new ways Greyhound advertise their product. Let people write graffiti over it and have it break down on the freeway and have passengers stranded for hours. Glad the money taken from those Gift Ticket Fees were put to good use. Like functioning buses and having customer service actually help you.
