Let me start with the obvious -- Happy Chicks delivers on the name. It was my first time visiting and I kept it simple: two tenders, fries, their bacon sauce (which I now want bottled), and a Sprite-lemonade combo. The tenders were crispy, seasoned just right, and the fries? Whew. Different in the best way. I couldn't quite put my finger on it -- maybe coconut oil? Whatever it was, it worked. Now let's talk about the service, because this was the cherry on top. The manager was so personable and genuinely proud to share the story of Happy Chicks and their locations. You could tell she loved being there -- and that kind of energy set the tone for my whole meal. The place was clean, the parking lot spotless, and service was quick. I'll be back to try the spicy tenders next time. If you're near Research Blvd, swing by and check them out. Your taste buds (and your mood) will thank you. P.S. First time trying this place after seeing it on Uber Eats. I tried the spicy strips with fries and corn. I didn't try the corn but the fries were pretty good. They definitely would've been fire if they were fresh. The chicken was ok. Not really spicy but seasoned enough to be better than cane's. I also liked that they offered multiple sauces including cream gravy.

I did a pick up order here of the chicken wrap and I thought it was solid with flavorfully seasoned chicken and lots of vegetables in the wrap. The fries were also really good, like beer battered, even when I reheated some the next day. The bag came with ketchup and napkins and was ready for pickup on the shelf. The store was small but pickup was convenient.

We stumbled upon this business in search of JuiceLand, we're kinda hungry decided to get a 3 piece with fries and a Tea. Fast service, big and juicy chicken! 100 % recommend and will be returning soon.

Meh. Chicken breading was bland. The chicken itself was cooked well, not dry at all. Sides were also bland. While I appreciate the healthier choices for sides, the quinoa salad had zero flavor. They're fast and affordable for what it is, and the location is convenient, but I won't be back.

The tenders: Easy four stars. Hot crispy and juicy. Ordered the "spicy" tenders and they were more like spiced raster than spicy but regardless. They were delicious! The fries: Unfortunately three stars. Even at their best these fries aren't great in my opinion. Looks, fries are a polarizing subject, I know. I'm not a fan of the battered fries. The location is tragic but I really hope they make it. I'm going to support them regardless because it's a hard location. Service was quick and easy. Will return.

When we first found Happy Chick off of Burnet it was our jam! This location is different and doesn't have any inside seating. Only a small drive thru and a walk up window. But it's hard to get in and out of. You can only get in on the feeder of 183 not through Costco. The have tenders and nuggets and a variety of sides and sauces. The combos are great because you get multiple sides depending on which combo you get. This recent visit the chicken tenders were way over cooked and too hard to eat. The nuggets were much better cooked and were a good size. The fries the luck of the draw if it'll be fresh or not after getting them. My kids need a sample in the car right away so it's as fresh as we can get jt. The Mac and cheese is good and the kids probably enjoy that the most. I will note the wait for your food takes a very long time and freshness is hit or miss after the wait. Apparently they offer kids eat free on Sundays with the purchase of an adult meal (posted in the drive thru window) but apparently they only honor it at the walk up window. Which is annoying since most parents would struggle to order at walk up window and have an extended wait with their children in the heat. Almost a bait and switch advertisement there. But overall the food is such a hit or miss it's hard to give this location a consistent recommendation.

I've eaten at happy chicks on burnet several times and had a great experience. Was stoked to see this location had a drive through. Ordered chicken strips and a biscuit since I was starving and was hoping to enjoy the biscuit on the way home. Def out of luck! It was hard as a brick. Absolutely embarrassing and no way it should have been served. Everything else was fine as usual, but this was a definite misstep.

I liked the batter in their fried chicken, personally. It reminded me of golden chick but more fresh. (That is a compliment!) Only thing I'm confused about is how someone can forget a side a meal already comes with. especially their creamed corn which is bomb! Of course I drove back but it's kind of a hassle per its location. Right off the highway. ultimately, the creamed corn was worth turning back around for! Mac n cheese is not kid friendly. It's "white" but as an adult it's pretty good. It's topped with green onion and bread crumbs if that's your thing. The honey mustard tastes like marigold flowers which are edible so genuinely curious if it's an ingredient. Their ranch is fresh and tasty. all around it satisfied my chicken tender craving :)
