I've rented from this location a number of times and if you have status, it's incredibly seamless. It's a short walk from arrivals, unlike some airports that require a shuttle ride. Staff is always quick and friendly as part of the check out and drop off process. They have a nice selection to choose from in the aisle, from Buicks to Jeeps, and the cars are always clean and typically with low miles. Drop offs are always super quick too and it's just a few minute walk to get to the airline check in counters.

Rented a truck from Hertz to help with my move and had a great experience. Was able to bypass most of the in-person processing by filling out details online. When I showed up, I received my receipts and was quickly on my way. The turn in process was even easier than the check in. Loved the streamlined nature of renting a car from Hertz!

Awful experience- machine didn't work, once it did work the employees could not find the car then we had to redo the whole process. No really had a sense of urgency or customer service concern.

Does not deliver on their promise or guarantee. Skip the line service is a joke. They send you to cars that don't exist and when you finally get a car it's filthy.

I have been blessed to use national car rental for the last few months in Austin. I had to use Hertz and realized I took for granted how well National Car Rental and the team Jayden has at National really work. Pulling out had to stop and clean the windshield it was so dirty, had to wait at counter to check in to get a car. No choice in the car once you are checked in, had a nail in a tire had to wait a couple of hours for approval to repair, return car and Hertz staff it playing on their phones not paying any attention to the cars in the return line. Maybe Hertz could hire Jayden and he could help them have better service.

Don't rent here !!! If I could give zero stars, I would!!! I reserved a car through AAA. I was quoted $448.03. Final charge was $503.14. The employee that checked me in added premium road service...why would I get road service when I have AAA? !!!! Dishonest scammers. Now I have a credit hold on my credit card for $704 that has not posted!! on July 13 they charged my credit card $503.14 but have yet to credit the $704!!! Was supposed to credit within 2 to 3 business days. Today, July 18 makes five business days!! When I called Hertz, I did get a nice representative who said she was gonna refund $45.95 for the premium road service charge. And she put in an escalated case to see why the $704 hold was not yet credited to my credit card!!! Hertz you have horrible business practice and I'm gonna put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I will never rent from Hertz again!! I don't need this kind of stress and treatment!! Especially since I was in Austin to attend my mom's funeral.

Worst place nothing but crooks. I am a PC MEMBER. I returned the car at exactly 5pm they charged me 100 dollars for an extra hour that I never had. They also charged 10 dollars per gallon for the gas which was crazy it should be 4 or 3 dollars I spoke to customer service they helped me, but this location is terrible. I would never in my life rent from this place ever again.

In the past, when I traveled for work, I used Hertz religiously. They had the nicest cars, and the best customer service. Recently, I rented a vehicle in Sydney to drive to Perth. When I made the reservation, I indicated that it was a one-way rental, the price seemed fair, and the pick-up location was very convenient. However, when I received my credit card statement, there was a random charge for a rental in Oklahoma. I went on my profile, and there was no receipt for this charge. I did, however, have a receipt for the rental in Sydney. The $640+ charge for Oklahoma was not shown as a credit on this bill. It did show a One-Way Rental charge for $1,300 (I figured that was the charge for the actual rental.) When I called Hertz. I was told that it was a pre-payment charge and the $1,300 charge was for renting one-way. Now, in the past, the daily rate for a one-way rental was more expensive (obviously), and this was the case when I booked in Sydney. There was no mention of a $1,300 one-way fee. Customer service told me that I could not get a receipt for the $640.00 charge, and that it was what it was. The agent was condescending and rude. This is the second time Hertz has charged me more than contracted. Once, in Belgium, I rented a car for one day and was told the daily rate was around $200.00. When I received my bill upon returning, It was almost $900.00. They charged for mileage, but never mentioned they were going to do so. Basically, if you want to be subject to the ole bait and switch, rent from Hertz. But I would steer clear of them. They have gone downhill and are now just horrible.

Don't rent from them. They pulled an illegal bait and switch move. Worst Customer Experience. Somehow, not one person was available to speak to. I reserved Tesla model 3 for $150 includes free EV charge fill up at return and I have the photos to prove it. I've only owned this car and has camp mode which is what I needed for my trip. We were one of the first flights that landed and nobody was in line. They didn't have the vehicle in stock. Then, why is it on your website? Why wasn't I contacted about this? Why wasn't I worked with towards compensation? I would have chosen a much cheaper option from a different company. I chose the first car that had Bluetooth. We have 1 hour to get to the funeral and have formal wear we have to put in the trunk. The trunk smells of body odor and now our clothes smell. When we return the car, there are two lanes, one for eReceipt and one for Printed Receipt. We park in the eReceipt lane. Didn't see any associates present. As we walk to our gate at 4am, someone with a backpack on in street wear yells at us to move our vehicle. I'm not sure why this was an issue when we followed the signage. As you can see from the photo I posted. I only used half the tank. They charged $10 per gallon which should be under $4 per gallon. It makes no sense to be charged more, for a nissan. I see a charge for $220. Fair compensation should be at least $100 for not having the car, promising free fill up at return and not fulfilling your promise, maybe a free day or something. I tried calling, and emailing and the only response I get is shown below: " Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent rental with Hertz. On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better rental experience for our customers in the future. I want to speak to someone and work towards compensation.
