While at Moontower Saloon I ordered food at Hot Texas Grills. I got the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla. It was grilled chicken with melted monterey jack cheese, buffalo sauce and jalapeños with a side of ranch. The quesadilla what pretty huge and cut up in four slices. I was a bit messy to eat but tasted really good. The chicken had a nice flavor grilled on a pit and the jalapeños gave it some heat. A side of ranch sauce was included. It was a heavy meal filling me up for the day. Reminder napkins required where juices will fall out and perfect to pair it with a beer.

One of the food trucks located at Moontower Saloon. There was long line since everyone decided to order around the same time. The wait was 20 mins. There was only one person doing everything. This food truck offers appetizers & sharables, sandwiches, BBQ sliders, tacos, quesadillas and burgers. My mom originally planned to order the chili dogs but when we looked at the menu by the window they didn't offer it. We decided to order the bacon avocado burger and south awesome tacos with pulled pork. Both meals were tasty. Overall, we enjoyed what we ordered.

Went to order $18 nachos that didn't even have all of the meat it was supposed to and it was just pork fat. Very bland. To make things even worse, the service was terrible. So rude. I asked for a fork and the guy threw it at me like I was an animal.

Hot Texas Grills is a 1 of 2 food trucks located inside the Moontower Saloon. The venue charges a $20 minimum for parking, so show your receipt at the bar to validate. I ordered the following: BBQ Brisket Sliders - comes with 3 hearty sliders and choice of side between Miss Vickie's Kettle Chips or Potato Salad. I recommend the potato salad! BBQ Chicken Quesadilla - a massive quesadilla cut in 1/4's; was fairly tasty with the cheese dip, but alone needed sauce (will opt for a side bbq next time) Overall was not a bad meal at all - not the best bbq by any means but got me nice fueled up for some sand volleyball! Man, am I sore lol

Food is decent and the nachos are probably the best I've had in south austin. The reason for this low review is the staff. It's almost a running joke when my team plays volleyball at Moontower - who's going to order from the only food truck that has the rudest staff. Usually, we go home hungry!

We recently had my sons graduation at Moon Tower where HTG catered. They were really easy to work with and affordable. They even had a kids menu for us. The food was amazing, I got compliment after compliment from our guests. I would highly recommend using them.
