Well I had been so excited to come try this place for ages. I'm used to getting so many excellent Italian sandwiches in nyc and it's really lacking here so I was thrilled to find this. But look at my photos. The sandwich has ONE thin slice of mortadella. It was like an arugula sandwich. You can see in the pic it's 75 percent arugula. It was hard to find the burrata too as it was just a small ball in the middle. Didn't taste any pesto or honey either. BUT the bread is great. I don't eat French fries unfortunately so I couldn't appreciate those. I will go back to try other sandwiches but I just wish they'd give a fair amount of whatever ham/meat they are offering. It's ridiculous to pay $14 plus tip and tax for a sandwich that is mostly arugula. Waited 15 minutes too even though I was the only one there ordering.

We ordered the breakfast panini (without bacon) and the rustico panini. The food was good, but a bit too greasy for my taste. The breakfast panini was huge and came with fries underneath, and the rustico was quite hearty as well. The woman working there only spoke Spanish, so I was able to place my order with my limited Spanish. She was very sweet and even offered to use a translator app. The location and ambiance at the food truck park really capture the "Keep Austin Weird" vibe, with a variety of food trucks and a good amount of parking available.

I got to try this food truck outside of Sign Bar. I wanted to give them a try since there weren't that many reviews for them. I was extremely disappointed with what I got but has potential to Improve. I ordered the Texas Style panini, the bread was a decent baguette but wasn't pressed and grilled like a typically panini. But I was okay with that fact. The issue is you pay $16 for this panini and the meat is paper thin... the flavor was mediocre. Nothing really stood out.

Food: 4.65 / 5 - Solid sandwiches! I loved their cowboy one. There are other solid options that I haven't tried but when I do, I will raise the score up! Service: 5 / 5 - Oh my god. They are SO NICE! Cleanliness: 5 / 5 - They bought their own picnic tables and everything was clean! Parking: 4.9 / 5 - There was plenty of parking when I went. Both locations differ during what time of the day you go Price: 4.5 / 5 - Most meals are $15 and snacks are $6. Not cheap but not super expensive. Solid price! -- I don't know why there's a lot of 1 star reviews. It's a small business trying to do good and I believe they make solid sandwiches. Are they the best? No, but they are very tasty. Check them out if you're in the area!

It seems like this truck has been in a few different locations, but the one I've been to is consistently in the location very close to the capital on Congress. The sandwiches are a good size, and the bread in particular is good. I tried the cowboy, which could easily feed two people I think. If you work downtown and are tired of a lot of chain spots I'd give them a shot. My only real issue is it doesn't seem like you can call in or submit an order for pickup ahead of time. That being said, they had some nice shaded picnic tables, so it wasn't too bad to relax for a few minutes while they made my order.

I try to support all the food trucks in the neighborhood, but the is place was awful. The chicken was so dry and the fries were Terrible. Don't go here

My panini was great and the passion fruit drink was so yummy!! Definitely recommend for any sandwich lovers!! Also the owner was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our food!

Went to Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival today and had the IL Gabbiano panini and it was terrible. Twice I had to pick stuff out of my mouth because it was hard to chew. Plus nothing inside was warm but the outside was burned. Yes it was fast but they sacrificed taste and quality. If you are going to serve fresh ingredients like tomatoes, arugula, provolone cheese, prosciutto and homemade balsamic then let them be pressed longer than a couple of minutes do they can melt a little into each other. The guy taking the order was nice but the older guy seemed annoyed. Not sure what happened before I got there but maybe they weren't having a good day.

We ate at this food truck during the 2023 Blues on the Green, and enjoyed it. The food was solid and they got the order out quick which was nice. It was a little pricey in my opinion but I also preferred their food over another vendor we also ordered from, so there's that too. Overall we were happy and I would eat with them again.
