Mango Feliz is a fine and sophisticated taco truck. It runs towards the elaborate and the upscale . It delivers in both aspects. By day, it is a lunch truck for Tesla workers. Tesla workers have disposable income. They want more than just a plain fajita taco. By night, it serves the EDM dance hall, the Concourse Project when the Concourse Project has concerts. Your food quality does not have not have to be super-wonderful when you are dealing with armies of drunk undergraduates. Fortunately, the owner of Mango Feliz has high culinary principles. He serves the drunks the same fine food he serves the Tesla workers. * * * As far as this review is concerned, let me say Mango Feliz's food is just fine. I had a birria taco with a dip sauce that was everything I wanted it to be. * * * The headline story here is not the quality of Mango Feliz's first rate kitchen. The story is the experience of trying to eat Mexican food at the Concourse Project. The problem is that the Concourse Project does not provide Mango Feliz with very much furniture on which patrons can EAT their Mango Feliz goodies. The number of places to sit down in Project Concourse's outdoor bar area is limited. Those places are shared with people drinking goodies from the outside bar - and tired dancers having a rest. The only space that Mango Feliz has to itself is one very very rickety table - with open slats - and four high stools. Very rickety and very wobbly. I was able to get one of the stools. My order was a house specialty ... a birria taco with a cup of birria broth to dip it in. a) The birria broth comes in a thin little paper cup. There is quite a lot of broth but the cup is filled high. Wobbly table with open slats. High cup. Lots of hot liquid. You can already see some plot elements here already. b) The birria taco is significantly wider than is the birria broth cup. So the eater has to work to make the taco thin enough to dip inside the cup. This is doable - but the taco is filled with all sorts of goodies that need to be managed. c) There are no napkins. If you make a special request, you can get a paper towel from the taco guy. d) The table moves with each movement of the other patrons. e) Anything that spills will go through the slats on the table on to whatever is underneath the table. Generally that is your pants. f) I did this while being stone cold sober. My party hadn't started yet. You can imagine this situation if you are eating between sets, and you are already three drinks to the wind. * * * I still say Mango Feliz is a first rate establishment. I hope to eat there often. My dry cleaner also thinks Mango Feliz is a first rate establishment. She wants me to eat there often as well.

Recently had the chance to enjoy two tacos and they were overall pretty solid. I appreciated the size of the tacos and each one had their own distinctive flavors. Having a side of tostadas, I was a tad disappointed in the choice of tostadas used. With the quality of the tacos I thought they would've used a different product. If I ever find myself in need of a quick bite and in the area I def wouldn't mind. Service was pretty moderate in wait time and the team was super nice.

These guys are participating in the Yelp! Trending Machine promotion, and despite giving away free food, their service remained top notch! I don't know how to spell the stuff I got but it was their signature frozen drink and taco, and they were delicious! Update: The drink was the Mangonada and the taco was their quesabirra taco. The quesabirra was a bit like a quesadilla, but not as crispy, filled with shredded beef and plenty of cheese, topped with onion and cilantro on a corn tortilla. I'm not a corn tortilla fan, but it worked with the other flavors. It was admittedly greasy, but it wasn't huge, so it wasn't overwhelming.

Came on a Saturday afternoons for Yelps Trending Machine, and I was so excited to redeem my sweet Mangonada treat! In addition, when you check in to Mango Feliz, you get a free taco! The Mangonada was so delicious. Talk about cold, sweet, spicy, and juicy all in one sip! It also came with what looked like a veto paleta. Highly recommend on a warm day. The Quesabirria taco was a HIT. Apparently it's what the food truck is know for. Meat soaked for 5-6 hours was very moist and tender. The cheese was out of this world! Definitely worth ordering at least 3.

Had my first mangonada here and it was awesome. Also got a barbacoa taco that didn't disappoint. Good stuff! This food truck shares a space with a coffee shop and has plenty of outdoor seating with large shade trees.

Thanks Yelp and Mango Feliz food truck for the opportunity to try a mangonada! This was my first time trying this drink which tasted like a sweet, salty, sour/tangy combination due to the chamoy and Tajín. This drink was personally overly sweet for me, and I was a bit sad that the mango wasn't ripe but I do appreciate the fact that they used fresh mango! I also missed the taco memo so can't speak to that however if you do get the drink definitely get extra napkins or drink quickly as this can get quite sticky!

What a great atmosphere!! Food truck located in the same area as Revival coffee. When it is a nice day out, this a great place to visit. ALSO, if you check-in, they give you a free taco! I risked the "Bad morning taco" where the cook makes whatever he/she pleases. The person taking your order asks about allergies or sensitivities, very thoughtful. It was SO delicious! I also got the mangonada, which was tasty, but my teeth don't do well with cold drinks. If that isn't a concern for you, GET IT!!!

Stopped by Revival and Mango Feliz due to the Yelp Texas Trending event and I am so glad we did! I had a Mangonada, a Migas Taco, and a Bad Morning Taco. The Bad Morning Taco is like a kitchen sink taco where they throw whatever they have laying around. Mine was incredible with black beans, eggs, bacon, and whatever other delicious goodness they had laying around. I'm sad because it was so good, but I know it is going to be different every time! The migas taco was excellent, it normally has chorizo but they were out and I love migas regardless. The last item I tried was they Mangonada which was phenomenal. It came with a candy straw and had the heat of the chamoy/tajin. I wish it would have come with a spoon as well, but I can always ask next time. I'd highly recommend Mango Feliz and I'm glad that I found a new spot that I likely wouldn't have gone out of my way to check out without the Yelp event. I'll definitely be back to see what the Bad Morning has in store for me.

First time trying during the trending machine weekend! We were given a free mangonada & free taco upon check in. I got a barbacoa taco it was fine & a beautiful mangonada but it had a lot of ice. They did use paper straws which I loved but they were out of a lot of products. I got some pretty good gifts from the trending machine including a candle and a bandanna! Overall pretty good experience considering everything was gratis! I would try again when things aren't busy

Holy cow the Birria taco hit the spot! The men working the truck were extremely friendly and pride themselves on the food. Everything is made fresh to order and it really shines through in the flavor. Great atmosphere and seating!
