So exciting to have a new spot in ATX to stop....Great little joint with a ton of seating, clean freshly remodeled. Super friendly staff...quickly seated...Chips, Salsa and Queso hit the table...and what this?...finally a table salsa thats different? Has a smoky spicy kick that lingers after a few bits...Very Good....perfect pairing with a couple scoops for the queso...chips were fresh and crisp...Ohh..they do have a tasty green salsa as well, make sure to ask for some...And Alwasy ask for different salsas when you hit any Mexican joint....Ample menu items to please everyone...Wife went the route of Beef Enchiladas with Red Sauce and double rice....The Red Sauce was good, but truly more of a Ranchero Sauce as it is quit chunky...but very good...I went with my goto when hitting a new spot....Chicken Enchiladas with Green Sauce...Chicken alone was tasty...they use whole bird...sauce was great and very flavorful...beans as good as they get...and we both enjoyed the rice...This was great find and will definitely be back for another visit...

This is a place off of I-35 South, so if you miss the entrance, you'll have to go around the block again. Parking seems to be plentiful. I chose to try out this place because they have Lengua and Caldos. Opted for Carne Asada Plate, and Lengua, Tripa, and Barbacoa tacos. My impression of the tacos were that the fillings were under-seasoned and not cooked with anything that impart additional flavor other than the onion cilantro garnish. As a result, they taste pretty plain, nice and warm, but didn't make me smile when taking a bite. Lengua: good texture, but simply plain Tripas: I didn't really like the texture of these, they were undecided as to whether they should be crisped up or chewy. Barbacoa: again, pretty plain The Carne Asada had a similar story. Service was pretty friendly. Inside, they have artwork from a local artist adorning some of the walls. I've tried only a subset of items on their menu and will try some more in the future.

Newly opened, family owned and operated. Service was spot on with quite an extensive menu. My son couldn't finish his chicken plate and the shrimp had the garlic kick I love. Their breakfast menu looks delicious. We will come back and give breakfast a try.
