If you're trying to make healthier choices and don't know where to start this is the place for a great selection and knowledgeable staff. 10/10

APPLE PAY DOES NOT WORK. The Apple Pay doesn't work so couldn't get anything, good and friendly staff but has broken for at least a month now and really frustrated. Decent food selection

Love the breakfast tacos, always have fresh coffee, great smoothies, and the grab go food is really good! Everything is healthy and made with quality ingredients. Brian the deli manager is the best!

I love this place. I can get my prescriptions compounded, pick up a Bulletproof coffee and some healthy Twinkie's. Who am I kidding. I also get the flourless chocolate cake and some chocolate covered strawberries. Peoples is an Austin staple. You go in and think you're gonna get your bioidentical hormones and you leave with a salad for your lunch and some hair vitamins. It's basically a snack fest up in there, but they're semi-healthy so you have no eaters' remorse. Everyone that works there is super nice and seems happy to be there. Open one in dripping springs please. For real, we're growing.

Boy, Did I love Peoples Rx! This is the most unexpected sandwich shop in the world! It's an amazing sandwich shop, inside a pharmacy store! Along with sandwiches you have pre-made salads, soups, fruit, etc. etc. They are a little expensive, but honestly, their ingredients are so fresh and tasty, its probably worth it. So if you want to be surprised, go here and get yourself a sandwich!

Located by the Westlake High School this is a gem hidden and not only is it a pharmacy it is a smoothie bar dessert bar and grocery deli store all combined. I was truly impressed was the fact that the pharmacist explained how my canine meds was to be used and demonstrated the the refrigerated type of meds my dog had to use by a strange type of syringe thank goodness she showed me what to do. The smoothie I ordered was a detox and full of delicious flavor, I loved it and will come just to have another smoothie. This is more of a whole foods type of environment everything here is nutritious and organic I also bought organic meat by the lb by a farmer in town that sells meat at People's yes, it's true .......truly impressive. I lived in Westlake since 1991 and grown by leaps and bounds son attended Westlake High and seen peoples come a long way. It's tops at go an you top rated service. If you need anything and into healthy foods come here.

This is the Mothership location of Peoples Pharmacy in Austin, deep in the heart of Westlake. Predictably, they have more of everything that makes Peoples special: high quality supplements, compounded and standard prescriptions, experts on staff for consultation. Their lead pharmacist, Beth Shirley, is a wonderful resource, and so are their nutritionists. They will make appointments for consultations and can recommend a plan of action for health and wellness, and can give you tips on where to find a holistic healthcare provider in Austin. They also conduct useful seminars on a variety of health and wellness topics. One wonderful surprise benefit of this location is the food counter, which has a variety of specialty healthy meals and is quite popular for lunch.

Such a bad experience this morning. I should have driven to my usual People's store on N. Lamar. Literally walking around hunting for product for 10 min, shopping bag on shoulder, and not an employee approached me. Didn't have products they gave at Lamar so now I have to make a second trip yo Lamar. When I got to a register, an employee was in his phone and completely uninterested in ringing my products up. Went to another register and was not greeted, no warmth. Only nice welcoming person here is Katherine and age was too little, too late. Why am I paying these prices to be treated so poorly and wasting my time looking for products that aren't here anyway. Geez, People's: you've been around too long for this poor/nonexistent service. As a loyal high-paying customer: I'm ticked.

I recently sought out Dr. Strickler of People's Pharmacy as recommended by my sister's naturopath. She has been wonderful and eye-opening when it comes to my health concerns and treating them holistically. For anyone frustrated with Western medicine, the tendency to treat the symptoms not the underlying cause and the get you in and out in under fifteen minutes so as to maximize profit attitude, I suggest trying a naturopath and especially Dr. Strickland. Every time I've visited her she's taken her time in going over my concerns and her course of treatment. It's been a breath of fresh air!
