We stayed here for the F1 race at COTA this past October. An easy Uber ride from the airport and downtown. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was reasonably priced during race week compared to the hotels downtown. We will certainly stay here for another visit to COTA

This hotel is 5 star!! EXCEPT the walls are very thin! We will definitely still stay here; but just know you will be able to hear and smell everything your above and side neighbors are doing and cooking/eating. It's an unfortunate oversight in the design of the building; because everything else about this hotel is 5 stars! Great rooms, comfy beds and pillows, stocked towels, lovely & delicious breakfast, gorgeous pool, hot tub and patio area, great location, and wonderful, helpful staff!!

My husband and I stayed at this Marriott while our home was being repaired. I have to say that staying at a hotel that has outstanding employees really makes all the difference. Every day Kaitlyn, Jackie and Lanesha along with other front desk employees were more than happy to assist us with our every need. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is well stocked and everything is kept clean. Ronald in their maintenance department was always busy cleaning and mopping. All of the employees that we met are definitely an asset to this Hotel . If you're in the area, this Marriott will suit your every need with plenty of shopping and Resturants nearby.

I had never been to Austin and always wanted to check it out as I heard it is very diverse & "weird" (didn't find it to be BTW). Booked this trip in March for Labor Day weekend so I didn't know the area/location. Turns out we were pretty much in a rural area right off the freeway, not too far from places but not too close either. Staff that greeted us (2 gents) were super friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, all the staff was. Place is 4 years old from what I am told, very quiet and comfortable. Gym was very clean and all equipment worked. Didn't get into the pool but it was very modern overlooking a country setting with lots of greenery. Laundry facilities available and everything worked except one washer but signage was posted. I ran out to Dollar Tree to get some detergent and softener to do laundry before leaving and I wished I would've checked the laundry room 1st as they provide both detergent and fabric softener sheets. Very thoughtful and considerate! Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and filled aplenty! M-W is "social hour" which lasts for about 3 hours or so. Stopped in for wine and chatted with one of the employees whom was very personable. They also have food available as well. If there were any cons, it would be the location in the proximity to the city as there is nothing within walking distance and also the breakfast hours as I feel they should extend it at least by an hour on the weekends for late sleepers.

We stayed here during the recent nasty winter storm. Staff was pleasant and did all they could to keep guests comfortable despite losing running water. Many of us guests were just thrilled to be in a warm cozy place. They still managed to provide daily breakfast and bottled water to guests. The rooms are cozy and tidy. Location is just a few minutes from downtown Austin. A huge thanks to the staff for helping us (guests) get by the first few days after the storm - I do recommend!

This is a fairly new, clean, Residence Inn. The "suites" are compact but efficient. Reasonably comfortable king bed. Big TV with some streaming options, and easy to disconnect the HDMI input to use Google Chromecast if you'd like. Lots of plugs around the room. Nice walk in shower. Otherwise a small but functional bathroom. Seating area for TV watching is ok, L-shaped, no arm rests but the pillows can be used for that, and a small table for your drink or whatever. The desk area is quite functional. TV right beside you, lots of plugs and lighting, and a decent amount of room to spread out. Full kitchen, with full sized fridge, small 2 electric burner range, and a few pieces of silverware, glasses/mugs, pots/pans for basic heating meals. One of the windows had a serious crack, and the desk chair looked like a dog had taken a bite out of one of the arms. Neither a big deal, just a sign if you're reading this a few years out, to expect some overall wear. Breakfast was decent, not a big selection, but eggs and sausage/bacon every morning get you on your way. Not a great area, nothing nearby in shops or restaurants, but there are options just a short drive away. What would keep me from ever considering staying here again, and the fundamental reason for the low rating, was the overdone water softening. Unaware, I lathered up with soap the first evening, and the water was so soft that soap does not rinse off. Every shower for the next few days was just water and scrubbing with the hopes of getting more of the soap off. So I spent the trip feeling a bit gross, and was thrilled to get home to a real shower.

The only reason I took one star away is because, although the staff was very nice when I approached them, I just didn't get the warm welcoming feeling that I usually get in Marriott. Our room was extremely clean (with the exception of the area between the counter in the fridge) Very clean hotel. Water pressure in the shower was great but when I took a bath, I did not like the feel on the bottom. It's felt bumpy and slimy so I ended up putting a hand towel under me.

Quick over night to Austin and stayed at the Residence Inn. Nice accommodations and felt very comfortable with the level of cleanliness and protocol with keeping things safe. Rooms were spacious and kitchen area had everything you needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A number of stores near for a quick shopping excursion is needed. I will definitely stay there when I return back to Austin.

Was promised housekeeping every other day and that never happened. I had a call for a towels and the hotel is very noisy on the pool side where air condition units are located below the rooms on the pool deck. Not what I expect when staying at a Marriott hotel.
