Came here for a business trip, and the hotel is nice for your standard Residence Inn. I didn't do any parking, so I can't comment on that, but Ubers were easy to get outside. The hotel is a great location and was walkable to a lot of stuff around downtown. You do get free breakfast if you stay in the Residence Inn side. It is served it in the restaurant. You give them your name and room number, and they let you in. The breakfast was fairly impressive with a wide selection. You can sit at one of the tables or take it to your room. Pool and gym weren't too bad. They were nice to use since it was a little hot outside when I visited. Rooms are pretty much what to expect at a Residence Inn. Lots of room to spread out, a large fridge, and a nice table. Our view wasn't anything exciting. If you need the location, this is a solid place to stay. But if you have a car and don't need to be downtown, you could consider looking elsewhere.

I last time I stayed at this Residence Inn was 2012. At that time, I remember having a good experience. This time around, it was GREAT. The service is extraordinary. Barbra at the front desk went above and beyond to be sure my friend and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. Any other staff members we encountered in our five day stay were just as wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic, so many options and it never felt overly crowded. We had a one bedroom suite and it was a perfect fit for our needs. The common areas are also great. Comfy seating to do work or have a coffee. Also, everything is in walking distance, we did not need a car. I'll be coming back every October and I won't even bother to look at other hotels in the area. What a fantastic stay! Thank you.

First review for first review of 2025! Stayed here 4/5th January while attending a tournament at ACC. Location was perfect. We stayed in a king room with a pullout bed. It was pretty comfortable but the bathroom was tight. It had a full kitchen, which would be nice for guests staying longer. Breakfast was better than the usual hotel breakfast. I have to say it's the best I have had so far. The front desk people were always friendly and very helpful. The Residence Inn currently shares an entrance and check-in desks with the Courtyard, so be aware of that. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area plus it's just a 5min walk to the convention center. If there is something I don't like about this hotel, it's how expensive their valet parking is(which is normal in the area) and how tight their courtyard/driveway is.

THE COURTYARD MARRIOTT AND RESIDENCE INN ARE CONNECTED... This was not a good experience. The day I arrived at 12:30 pm in the afternoon, they said there were no rooms, yet individuals kept checking in. Once it was sorted and I was in my room - I went to take a shower (I was on the 9th floor for reference) - it took 7 minutes to get to cold to luke warm water... ultimately, I took a very cold shower and hopped off to work. I skipped the breakfast the next day and made my way to a different hotel for the remainder of my stay. (Which was amazing!)

Our stay at the Residence Inn was amazing!! One of the easiest, hassle-free trips i've ever planned! Everything from booking the reservation and check in/check out to any accommodations needed, the staff was amazing! special shout out to Pauline at the front desk, she was amazing, remembered me (even from calls about questions before booking!) and was so so helpful when asking questions and making requests. The room was beautiful and the view was even more beautiful. the only semiiiii negative thing about this reservation is valet is $69 a night, but honestly any downtown city you got to, that can be expected. keep up the great work!

Clean. Conveniently located. Lovely 1BR with a living room. Easy check-in and free breakfast with an attached Starbucks. No complaints

- Room + bathroom: clean, very large. AC worked great. dishes/utensils available in the suites. No robes but I believe you could ask the front desk. Not sure if they're complimentary though - friendly staff - Free breakfast was good; your basic eggs, bacon, fruits, yogurts, French toast set-up. - dining area: large and clean - Starbucks - check-in is a bit confusing at first when you walk in since you check in on the Courtyard "side" not the Residence "side", so the Residence check-in desks will be empty - Gym was clean + there was a nice balcony outside the pool area - Refillable water station in the gym but the water did not taste good so I'd stick with bottled in the lobbys marketplace or from Starbucks - Easy pick up for Ubers - ordered Uber Eats and they delivered straight to the "check-in" lobby

Longstanding hotel in the Austin area, but still looks kept up to date and family modern. Tiny lobby though, so be prepared for not a lot of sitting area. Usually I never have an issue with front desk staff and service. But the front desk here takes the cake in not caring. Drove 3 hours to Austin, the valet is backed up so had to wait 20 minutes to even put the car somewhere to get to the front desk. I stand in the area marked for customers to give the front desk staff (sole female) and currently serving customer privacy. Other customer just walk around once the current ones are finished and the front desk staff just spends the next 10 minutes serving them and completely ignoring me. Not great. And when I brought it up, all she said was "too bad, I'm overworked". Rooms were fine, parking is expensive. At least the property is comfortable. Amenities all worked well. Didn't try the breakfast so couldn't comment but residence inn breakfasts are normally decent. Wanted to like this hotel, but the staff need much more training, or just find friendlier people.

It's nice! You should stay here! This hotel is interconnected with the Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center. The entrance, front desk and lobby for the Residence Inn side is currently not in use. So in order to get in, you'll see that you have to go through the Courtyard entrance and check in at their front desk. Right now they are only doing valet parking, so you have to fork up $50/ night if you have a car. I know, that's expensive. However, you can't beat the proximity to all the coffee shops, bars, and restaurants downtown, which is why I love this hotel so much! Our hotel room (815) was pretty clean! Yes, there were the occasional hairs found around the room, but other than that, it was spotless! I really liked how they sanitized the remote and put it in a plastic casing. You could really stay a long time in these rooms! They have everything you need in the kitchen. If you're like me, and you like to boil when you shower, their shower did take about 7 minutes to get really hot. And the bed was super comfortable! I slept like a baby! The hotel has a gym, a small outdoor terrace, and an indoor pool on the second floor. No jacuzzi though. They have a nice seating area on the first floor with an electrical fireplace (that doesn't get hot) and another seating area with a large game of connect four. They offer free breakfast for those checked in under the Residence Inn side, however the Courtyard side will get $12 charged to their room for breakfast if they choose to partake. In my opinion, that breakfast is not worth $12. The coffee tasted like bad tap water, the scrambled eggs were hard, and the waffles were cold and bland. The only thing that was good was the bacon and the orange juice. Just search for a nearby breakfast restaurant or coffee shop and walk there instead.

Stayed here a few days for SXSW, and I had pretty low expectations given how I was treated by the Marriott Courtyard staff last year. I was still willing to give it another shot, as this is a great location to stay during the conference/festival. When I saw that the Residence Inn desk was actually closed and I had to check in on the Marriott side. I was a bit bummed, but it ended up going very smoothly, and I was treated with upmost respect and kindness by every single employee during my stay. The room was spotless! I stayed in a corner queen bed room- it was very cozy, and I actually spent a full day in my room at one point because of the weather. HUGE TV - loved it! Even though I didn't cook, it was great having a kitchen and a full-size refrigerator to keep all of my drinks in. The downstairs renovations on the Residence Inn side are really attractive and comfortable. Their lounge areas have a lot of seating room - definitely a nice place to meet up with friends. Looking forward to another stay in the future!!
