Occasionally I visit Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory where overall one of my favorite casual Mexican restaurants. It's a place where you first order your food, claim your seating, and then wait for your number to be called out. There are monitors on the walls displaying your number like bingo until your number is called. The place had a great fun atmosphere to absorb you into the Mexican culture. It seems most items on menu had a photo of what you are ordering I case new to Mexican food. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Plate however was told it would take a bit longer to prepare for I replied it was ok. It did take a bit longer but was worth it. The plate had Rosa's famous mesquite-flavored grilled chicken tenders, bell peppers and onions, Mexican rice, and refried beans. Apparently can with it out with black beans. There was also an edible taco bowl with guacamole, shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream, and a jalapeño to spice it up along with lots of four tacos. I made two large tacos with the ingredients given to me and the check had great charred flavor from the grill. Wrapped in thick flour tortillas it was great. The rice and beans were also good to complement the tacos.

On Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, at opening. I decided to have an early morning breakfast at Rosa's Cafe and Tortilla Factory in Austin Texas. Briefly after being served, I grabbed my plate from the counter. I eventually found a comfortable place to sit in an effort to enjoy my meal. However, I overheard someone from a distance experiencing a medical episode. The person appeared to be a middle age Jewish Female gagging on phlegm, while drifting off towards the open bar of several available condiments to add to your meal. Having witnessed this personally, and experiencing my vehicle being tampered with shortly after leaving Rosa's Cafe. It appears that perhaps, certain people including others like myself are not welcomed in the general area. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant, if there are people within the general area tampering with your health, and then, your property. Try the place of business further away down the road. It's referred to as: Adult X Theater.

So my friend and I had an amazing dinner here. Everything seemed to flow smoothly. Each staff member knows his or her role and carries it out exceptionally well. We ordered enchiladas, taco salad, and huevos rancheros... which I don't particularly care for.

The "spicy" pico was decent and the decor is really cool. So colorful and inviting. The staff is fast and friendly. It hits the spot whatever Mexican dish you're craving.

Y'all need to serve breakfast tacos all day. It literally takes two minutes to cook eggs. People don't get up early on the weekends to eat breakfast by 10:30. You're not in Abilene, this is Austin. People sleep in.

Solid for what it is. It's a fast food joint. Viewed through that lens, it is pretty great at what it does. Whatever you order, you will get a fast-food version of that. Through that perspective, they are great at what they do. The drive-through is ridiculously fast, and the dining area is more expansive and pleasant than it needs to be. Don't want to spend a lot of $$ or time on fajitas for two? This place is the spot. The chocolate & carrot cakes are better deserts than you'd get at most fast food places, too. There's a reason they feature their tortillas, too. The flour tortillas are as good as you'll get in a fast food chain. This is all made possible by staff that is friendly - not just polite, attentive, and serious about their job. For fast food? I ain't mad...great spot.

My husband and I have been here a handful of times before and I felt the need to bump this place a little. Pricing is great for fast food Tex mex. I tried the taco salad today, it was under $7 and I was pleased. I mean, for real? I forgive the spiceless way they prepare their taco beef for these conveniences. I like spicy, they got a salsa bar for that. Easy fix. The option to dine in a CLEAN dining room and eat said affordable Tex Mex is a huge. No frills. We've never had an unpleasant experience, the team at the register have always been pleasant. Someday I'll get dessert. Keep it real Rosas. They've tortillas are to die for. Yup. That's also true.

This place reminds me alot of Taco Cabana. They both have drive-thrus, and they both seem like they are a step up from fast-food and a step down from a full service , sit-down restraunt. I always thought the food they serve here was mediocre to pretty good. It satisfies when I'm craving Mexican food. It's not love, but it's not bad.
