I haven't been on southwest in forever. They never go where I'm going. Well, my trip to Palm Springs they were my ride. Had a wonderful seat. Had space for my bag over head. And my seat mate was nice. We chatted a little then read in our books. The flight attendants were funny when they were on the mic. Pilot was great too. Easy take off and very easy landing.

Southwest/Austin Texas First time here at this airport. I had a short lay over here from Nashville going back to the Bay Area. Southwest customer service is generally pretty solid. I had no issues here and I got back home safely thank you baby Jesus. Only annoying thing is that per usual this is a fully booked flight and carry ons are going to be limited and why is there a lady sitting behind me with 2 cats ugh

I had a roundtrip flight booked to Tampa, but needed to get there earlier than planned. Since I couldn't modify my Southwest flight affordably, I purchased a separate one-way ticket with another airline and didn't board the outbound Southwest flight. What I didn't realize and wasn't clearly communicated was that by missing that first leg, Southwest would cancel my return flight entirely. I wasn't notified and only discovered it when I went to check in to come home. I then had to buy another last-minute ticket for over $200 to get back. I fly Southwest regularly at least once a month and this kind of experience was both stressful and costly. I'd encourage you to consider clearer warnings about this policy moving forward.

What can I say ! This Airline is on top of my list! The flight attendants on board are very friendly and helpful. It was a full flight and passengers are as cordial as those who served us ... pilot always updated us of the weather here in Austin,Texas! My husband and I decided to travel to Las Vegas and return to Austin using Southwest Airlines. My husband got our tickets online. He used the Southwest Airlines app to check to see if our flight was on time or delayed. This came in handy when planning on leaving home to the airport and when leaving the hotel to head to the airport. After getting to the Airport we walked up to the Southwest Area and walked to the Kiosks to get our bag tags and printed out our boarding passes. Then we walked over to the next available person at the bag check to check our bags. This person working there was friendly and helpful when we asked questions. After doing this we moved through security and headed to our gate. When we noticed our plane we got in line and listened to the attendant talking about boarding. In Austin the attendant was friendly. In Las Vegas the attendant was a little weird about boarding. She allowed multiple people that weren't called yet through to the plane but then announced in front of everyone on the speaker that she hadn't gotten to our number yet and then two seconds after announcing she called us over. It was rediculous. I don't understand why she used the microphone and why she didn't just talk to us because we were standing right next to her. After getting on the plane we found some seats and sat down. It wasn't a Full flight leaving Austin and luckily me and my husband didn't feel squished sitting in our row. However it was Full leaving Las Vegas and someone sat next to us. So I definitely felt squished on the flight from Las Vegas to Austin. During both flights the flight attendants did really good jobs and were friendly. We got two small snacks (mini pretzel braids and mini cinnamon graham crackers) and and a drink on the way there and on the way back. We heard the Pilot make announcements letting us know about the weather as well as possible turbulence. Overall the flights were okay. I prefer the less crowded planes so I don't feel so squished. The flight attendants on the planes were friendly, the snacks and drinks were a nice distraction during the flight and the plane was clean.

Our family members flew Southwest Airlines. As most folks know, it is a no-frills, budget-airline where the flight attendants frequently do fun scenarios with its passengers to make them laugh or otherwise make their flight pleasant. In 2025, I suppose to be more competitive with other airlines, implemented a number of new changes. While unlimited free checked bags used to be a perk of flying Southwest it is no longer in 2025. Also, starting in 2025 instead of first come, first serve seating now seats are assigned. This morning at 5 am, Southwest Airlines had hundreds of people at the airport. It was hard to imagine so many people at the airport so stinking early. Apparently, the new changes had not hindered business. The people looked like tribbles from Star trek. Southwest Airlines representatives were helpful with checking luggage and providing updated boarding passes. The line to the counter moved super slow. However, when our family members reached the counter they were processed quickly.

Flew from Austin to Denver, from Denver to SFO. Southwest is always my go to. My wish is they would have a direct flight from Austin to SFO. The fact that you can change or cancel flights and have a credit or pay more or sometimes even less (credit) is a huge plus for me. Checking in two free bags. Such a great perk. No issues whatsoever during the busy Holiday Season. Thank you for your outstanding service. Your flight attendants are hilarious on some of the flights.
