I made the reservation here by mistake, it was the wrong location, but it was a really good mistake!! The employees were friendly, the room was clean and well stocked. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The location is central and we got to everywhere we needed to be quickly. This would be a great place for a longer stay, since you have a basic kitchen and would save money on eating out. Plus the breakfast smelled amazing, but we didn't eat here so no idea on the actual tasWe will stay here again on our next visit to Austin.

This place was horrible. The floors were all stained up, the bedding and towels had stains on them and the ac unit in our room was so dirty. The hotel staff at the front desk is rude and non-accommodating.

The bathrooms could have used more attention--they weren't very clean during my visit. As for breakfast, it was a bit of a letdown. It included waffles, eggs, and sausage, but the waffles were overwhelmingly sweet. It felt like biting into sugar cubes rather than an actual waffle. Not the most balanced way to start the day.

Room was a great size for 3 adults. Pull out couch was uncomfortable, but kinda expected. One of the 2 TVs didn't work. One of the bedside lights didn't work. We could look everything above expect for the fact there were no waffles nor pancakes for breakfast. For hotels like this, we expected a waffle iron and waffle mix to make fresh waffles.

I have to say here lately I'm starting to lose faith in the Marriott brand of hotel. I understand times are more expensive now, and corners have to be cut, but I am seeing a trend of Marriotts cutting too many of them. Pros: Staff is very friendly. Room was adequately sized. Bed was comfortable. Pool hours were nice. Cons: The room smelled like sweaty feet. The carpet was wet. The breakfast was sub par and very cheap. The room was not cleaned very thoroughly before we arrived. I've said this before, and I will say this again. If your hotel does not have the waffle maker at breakfast time, it should be a red flag. Oddly enough, my kiddos live for hotel breakfasts, so can imagine when they came to the lobby and saw so much empty counter space, and no waffle iron. Would I stay here again? Can't say definitively, but I can tell you next time it will not be my first choice for sure. Do better, Marriott.

Marriott seems to be my go to when traveling nowadays. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin Parmer/Tech Ridge was another first time stay. With a smooth pre-check in upon my arrival the ladies at the front desk made my welcome very nice. The room was e everything pictureristically (*might coin this word, LOL*) almost perfect!! **Vanity lighting isn't good (sistas y'all know that when applying our face lighting is a must). And there's no defogger. Over all Marriott is moving up fast on my list of top hotels. Treat yourself to all the pleasantries of staying here. ** Restaurant and Bar is closed but the area is nice for group gatherings. Breakfast is served here. Didn't try during my stays but I'm sure it is satisfying. Until my next stay, Bon Voyage, Springhill Suites...

The management/owners have no concept of customer service and apparently have no reason to discover what that entails. While not rude, per se, they certainly aren't pleasant and make no effort to assist or accommodate their clients. Specifically, a simple request such as use of a conf room (or any other private space) for 30 min because I had a work conf call right at checkout time was met with a passive no we can't do that. Bonus was the (ahem) breakfast. While there were great toppings, there was no oatmeal as indicated. Cream cheese, but no bagels. Messy and not cleaned or resticked during the service period. How (if) they have return customers is beyond me. There are so many other options in this area at the same or better price. Sticking to the Hyatt and Embassy where they know how to treat their customers and are rewarded with repeat and loyal customers.

This room was so gross that we stayed for one night and checked out. Nothing in the room worked. The faucet was coming off in the bathroom. The plugs were not in the wall. There was gross stuff on the headboard poop on the carpet. It was gross!

Sorely disappointed with this hotel. It was not up to Marriott standards at all. Carpet was ripped, sofa was stained, mold in the showers, gym smelled so strongly of mold I could not stay in there. No sanitizing wipes in the gym either. The front office staff did not know the pillows were foam or feather either. The only up side was that the training I was attending was within walking distance of the hotel. I had booked again for September as I am attending training in the same place. I cancelled. I do not recommend and will not stay again.

Where do I start? As soon as we entered there were police surrounding the hotel and running around the parking lot. Finally check into our hotel after waiting for quite some time to be put into a room that smelled of mildew, no phones worked, the 2nd room fan didn't work nor phones. Was switched to another room where the fire alarm is hanging off the wall and the deadlock is broken. Then lastly to get complaints about the tv being too loud after repeatedly coming to the front desk and informing them that the remote only turns the tv on and off it does not change the volume, only to be told there is nothing they can do about it. Well why call with the complaints if there is nothing you can do about it? The pool was a nasty murky water and they let anyone whether they were guest at the hotel or not, come to the pool. Overall, not the best experience and would not recommend to anyone!!
