I thought the meal was solid for if you live in the area, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for it, and it doesn't dethrone my other current top place for Persian food in the area. The beef koobideh was flavorful, but the overall plate was pretty bare-bones for the $20 price-point. I got it through uber-eats, and they mark the menu with allergen information which was appreciated -- but I actually question if they take allergens seriously, which can be misleading with how they indicate foods being gluten-free etc. I had a mild reaction, which tells me they don't actually potentially take precautions for allergies. That's pretty expected for a food truck, but indicating allergen accommodation but not living up is pretty counter-productive and a bit dangerous. Still, for most people I believe that it's a fine place to grab a meal when you're craving some kabobs.

Persian food, for me, is home food. This is as close to Persian home food that I've had in awhile. This is not another kebab shop serving greasy grilled meat, but the seasoning, quality of ingredients, and preparation were perfect for me and indicative of a chef who has flavors on point and pride in the food served. Did I mention it was delivered and still this good, hot, and fresh? Merci!

This food truck delivers good quality koobideh which is surprisingly difficult to find an Austin. Many Mediterranean restaurants will offer more Turkish or Greek fair but this food truck offers Persian cuisine, which is refreshing. The saffron rice was delicious. It complemented the spices on the koobideh well. I would love to see them, expand their menu in the future to offer more appetizers and side dishes. I also think the dish could come with more sumac, but im obsessed. Overall definitely worth a visit! We will be back!

I ordered the Mix Koobideh because it seemed like the best deal. The beef and chicken Koobideh was so delicious and flavorful. The white sauce was pretty solid too. I kinda wished it included a salad but that was an add on. You can get it either with white or saffron rice. I love saffron rice so I picked that and it's pretty solid. It's still missing a particular flavor I'm wanting but I did really enjoy it. The unexpected fan favorite, the roasted tomato was delicious! However, it does cost extra and that was not listed on the menu. So with the tip my meal came out to $20, which is pretty pricey for a food truck meal.

A decent Persian food truck located in a small food truck group by a gas station. There are plenty of picnic tables for you to dine at if you don't want to do to-go. I ordered the koobideh which no additional sides and paired it with a mango lassi. The koobideh was disappointing it was under seasoned bland and dry. The rice with nicely cooked roasted with a roasted tomato. The mango lassi tasted good and wasn't too sweet but it was thiccccck!

Stopped at this cute food truck situation hoping to find something delicious and different...and we found just that at "Taste of Persia" The friendly and helpful co-owner, Hamid, helped us select dishes that would appeal to us. My husband got the mixed Koobideh plate of beef and chicken and reported it as "Great" which is amazing because he never reports anything as "Great" LOL. I got the chicken Koobideh and Joojeh Kabob with saffron rice (Always get the saffron rice....its flippin delicious) The chicken was incredibly moist and sooooo flavorful! The serving was ample and was able to bring some back home to be squabbled over later. Its just that good! We will be back for more
