If you're coming to Yelp for venue reviews, I don't know what to tell you. You're either gonna go to the concert you're eyeing tickets for or not. Like Black Sheep said, "the choice is yours". The Concourse Project is sneakily one of the best venues in Austin. Granted, nine times out of ten, it's a dance show hosted here, but it just feels a league above other venues. I'll get this out of the way: you either get to the venue extremely early and luck out with a parking spot, fight the outrageous Uber fees to try and leave the venue with everyone else, or pay $20 to park in a gravel lot next door. It's kind of a lose-lose-lose, but I'm picking $20 parking every time. Outside the tin can of Concourse are the numerous lines to get in. Security is thorough but moves quickly and is more friendly than your standard venue security guard. Once inside, the venue is split into two spaces past the entryway: the outdoor courtyard and the main space. The courtyard is great for a breather, grabbing a drink, or checking the numerous shops hanging around. Inside lies the main dance floor. Huge speakers hang on the wall, and an incredible lighting rig and projectors span the back wall and the ceiling. Like all dance venues, once the music starts, it'll never stop until Austin's curfew. Since residing in Austin, I've been to three shows here: a Boiler Room, Jamie xx, and the great Disclosure just last Thursday. I always love how open the dance floor is at Concourse. There's a ton of space, even at a sold-out show like Disclosure, to dance and groove. Drinks are your standard concert price, and it'll always hurt your wallet to get a drink at any venue, but it is what it is. It's not exorbitant; it's your venue average. I also enjoy that Concourse uses SeeTickets vs. Ticketmaster, so the fees aren't as ridiculous as other Austin venues. The sound in any area of Concourse is great, but the closer you get to the stage, the better and more alive the crowd seems to be. It also doesn't feel like there are a thousand phones in the air at any point because most people are just vibing and living their best life. It's a great venue to go with your friends or make instant friends at, but if you ever ride solo to Concourse, you can still easily lose yourself to the music and the bass. One last thing: After the first time you go to The Concourse Project, you're gonna want to come back. The best way to keep coming back is by protecting your hearing. Foam pieces are cool, but I recommend investing in Loops or EarPeaces, especially at a bass-heavy venue like Concourse, because if you want to keep having a great time, you've got to preserve your ears. Decent mega club, but Austin needs more than one venue like this. They have expensive drinks and offer a discount with inKind, but that app requires data so you'll never get to use your promo discount since they have no signal at the venue. At least they get some talent... but it sure would be great

Rated the #4 top club in the US for a reason! The dance music acts they book at Concourse are always top-notch, ranging from mainstream to eclectic up-and-coming!! I love that Austin has such an amazing music scene! There's also food trucks and merchandise booths outside the venue! Huge fan of Seismic Music Festival, the annual house/techno festival Concourse hosts. Seismic has an indoor & outdoor stage too.

Ibiza/Berlin Quality EDM in a Dance Hall the Size of Texas !!! * * * If you love electronic dance music, and Samuel C. certainly does, this is Paradise on a Grand Scale, A Chateau de Versailles in which you can dance your ass off. * * * The Concourse Project is one of two absolutely massive dance clubs in a pair of gigantic warehouses on Burleson Road, just south of the airport. The other club (under different ownership) is Santa Mala, which is a Latin Club. Both clubs can hold thousands of people. They are next to huge open fields that can handle the cars of those thousands of people. ($22 for parking - $2 discount for cash.) Traffic handling is magnificent. Even with that huge number of vehicles, getting in and out is a breeze. * * * What do you get if you go inside the Concourse Project? The Dance Music of Your Dreams. The talent they book is world class. On some nights, they will have multiple superstar artists. However, even the deejays in single artist shows have significant international reputations. What you hear will generally be blow away good. * * * The visuals here are at least as important as the music. The young people at the Concourse Project are dressed to kill. The issue is not that people are showing plenty of skin. You can see plenty of skin at a beach. The issue is that what is on that skin is amazingly stylish and amazingly sexy. If you are at a club in Miami or L.A., what you wear and how you look is what it is all about. The Concourse Project has its zhlubs to be sure, generally fraternity guys. But there are plenty of style kings and style queens here. The style kings and style queens are blazingly hot. They could get past the most demanding bouncer that Ibiza has to offer. Keep in mind there are thousands of style kings and style queens at the Concourse Project. There is eye candy for miles and miles of miles and miles. * * * The light show is just as grandiose as the room and the fashion scene. The Concourse is working with a huge amount of space - which means a huge number of lights. They also have the high tech community of Austin to work with. (The #1 company in the world for making light shows for touring bands is based right here in Austin.) Space plus talent leads to amazing visuals. Now to be sure - L.A. also has big spaces and amazing special effects people. Berlin has never been short on technical excellence. But I have been to dance clubs in London and Portugal that were considered at the time to be impressive. The Concourse Project makes it look like those clubs were playing with flashlights. * * * Administratively, the Concourse Project is run extremely professionally. Security Personnel are unobtrusive - but they ARE everywhere. Everyone is searched thoroughly on entry. Fighters, obnoxious individuals and over-indulgers are removed immediately by large forces who are polite but firm. Mosh pit behavior is absolutely banned. Medical personnel are placed strategically around the facility. Someone having an overdose or a bad reaction to flashing lights will be treated swiftly in excellent facilities. Restrooms are plentiful. They are as nice as the bathrooms in a respectable midrange hotel. There are more than enough bars to serve this massive number of people without patrons having to wait forever in a crowd. Offerings are limited but good enough given the huge numbers of people that have to be served. Drinks are served in cups that are nicer than cheap plastic ones but still won't shatter like glass. They are ecologically reusable. The drink prices would be considered obscene in at least thirty eight states plus the District of Columbia. There are all sorts of outside spaces to drink, a very cool indoor bar on one side of the club, and plenty of places to get drinks in the main hall. There is a first rate food trailer inside the club, and another one outside if you get the munchies after the show. * * * Altogether, this is an extraordinary place. PS If you can afford the access to the prime areas, it is worth it. Being up close totally improves the experience.

There is something special about The Concourse Project that is transformative and a blank slate to experience any music journey that is being held at the venue. Parking is probably the only sore spot for the space but I feel like if that is the only thing to harp on then it isn't that bad of a situation to worry about. What makes this venue not only badass in the city but one of the top venues for EDM is how easy they transform the space based on the artist's needs. I've been here when they've made it a 360 bar, full production setup with the artist at the back, and a B2B setup. The visuals and audio here honestly compete against venues I've been to in Ibiza, Miami, and Vegas. As someone who loves to have a late night bite after a few drinks, I am so thankful that The Concourse Project has a food truck out back for you to get your grub on. The last show I went to about a week or so ago (NGHTMRE) it was a golden chance to enjoy a plate of quesabirria tacos. Holy crap where they everything and more. They were so delicious and you can decompress and have a break outside. Whether you live in Austin or are visiting, if you have the chance to check out a show here then you absolutely have to!!

One of the few places I feel at home. I come here every few months either with a VIP or regular ticket. It is safe, clean, great drinks (pricey though), and always nicely decorated. Each time I came, the layouts were always different which I like. I appreciate the security staff and body scanning to make sure nothing dangerous is being brought in. Can't wait for more shows this year!

Saw Deorro a couple weeks ago here and it was such a cool experience!! The venue offers a lot of space inside and even has an outdoor patio with some food trucks. The lighting and screens on the roof were incredible and added to the ambiance. The staff and bartenders there were also friendly. Keep in mind that they only have limited free parking spaces on site but also offer a lot next to the buildings where they do charge you $20-$22 dollars. Also, I don't know if it was just the sound system here or it's a universal experience but if you stand right in-front of the DJ stage it's really hard to hear what they sing/or what their songs say since it's like 90% bass. When my bf and I moved towards the middle and back of the crowd we ended up having more fun since the sound quality was better there. Something else to note is that if you plan on seeing the artist or performer you bought tickets for they don't tell you there's 2-3 other smaller DJs performing first. We expected that Deorro would play around 10:30- 11pm since doors opened at 9pm but he didn't end up playing until about midnight. We were patient but we wish we could have known. However, we had a great time overall! :)

Not being a big EDM fan I'd never visited this place, but since it's in my neighborhood I was curious and decided to catch a show. It was great in all aspects - from the sound to the lighting to the friendly and professional staff. They host world-class EDM acts - for example, Tiesto played there in May 2025. Definitely a place for night owls - when I visited, the headliner didn't take the stage until midnight.

It was First time visiting Concourse during SXSW and I have to say--I'm impressed! DJ Tsha was playing the day I visited. The lighting snd music was great, and from what I understand, it's up to the DJ to choose the setup. So if you're looking for a full light show experience with EDM, pick the right DJ and go for it. I was pleasantly surprised to see gallon water on the side with plastic glasses, just like in breweries such a thoughtful touch for drinkers Drink prices are pretty reasonable for a bar: $9 for beer and $12-$14 for cocktails. I also loved the VIP lounge it was aesthetically pleasing with comfortable seating. The trailer bathrooms were a nice addition and were clean when I visited which is always a plus. There are plenty of parking on the street and if you choose VIP ticket you can park behind in the field.
