Austin's Drag Brunch @ The Courtyard ATX *Expected bar bites but got an elevated experience *Love the venue, outdoor but not *Challenge with bartender also being servers/waiters increased waits *They did amazing, Alicia was our server The venue was setup perfectly, the staff was friendly and helpful but I think overworked as our server was also the bartender so it was alot to keep up with and the wait was a little longer than I would expect. I only counted a couple of waiters so they were setup for a tough day. The sound and lighting is great and the setup was a elevated experience especially if you had the seats on the runway. The food presentation was more than I expected and my Sammie was amazing. We had a fun show at a nice venue with some good food. I have not attended a "drag brunch" before but I have attended lots of drag shows. This was a very fun experience and our host Diamond Dior Davenport did an amazing job MCing and her set was off the hook.

I got a drink from a brunette lady bartender and she informed us they were not giving out straws because we are "messy". We just got here? First drink of the night. So I asked her if she could stir my drink since I could not and she said "I'm busy, you can do that". What???? How can I do that???? Without a straw?????? Not good service. My drink is now quite uneven. Usually would be fine but if I am here for DRINKS.... I expect a way to stir my drink.

Bartenders are rude as hell and try and steal your money. Great drag show though. Will not be coming back. Also bar gun must be dirty because I asked for a sprite back and their sprite came out yellow. If I could give zero starts I would.

Went to celebrate my friends bachelorette and paid VIP. Would not suggest this cuz they let other girls ruin her time on stage. I was also insulted aggressively by the girls who felt entitled to our space even tho we paid A LOT for it. So not worth paying for the VIP unless you want to get insulted and they do nothing to negate this. Otherwise male dancers were good. Prob should have gone to the drag show instead.
