My dog was greeted with more excitement than I was (fair), and got served what might be the best pup cup in Austin. Real whipped cream, real joy. The cocktails are consistently fantastic -- creative without being pretentious, and strong without being aggressive. They clearly care about what they're serving. And the fact that they're dog-friendly just seals the deal. It's not just tolerated -- it's celebrated. My dog now thinks he owns the place. Why have I not reviewed The Golden Goose? I've been here a handful of times and it's definitely one of my most-liked places. Just want to start by saying they have $2 frozen margs all day everyday through Labor Day 2025. And, they are good! You'd think for $2 you would be getting a subpar drink and that's just not the case. The bar has such an eclectic and cool vibe. It's just so relaxing and chill. But like they say, "Get Loose at The Goose". You can get anything from a standard cocktail to one of the many signature cocktails they offer at any given time. Nice selection of frozens too. These mixologists are on their game! They'll have you feeling fine in no time. Wanna hang but don't feel like drinking? That's ok, they got you! I've had a few drinks made n/a & their mocktail game is spot on as well. They do mini cocktails too! Perfect if you want a little taste but don't wanna go full throttle. And, they're adorable! Always a good time at Golden Goose! The staff is the absolute best. Friendly, fun and just make your experience even better. As soon as we arrived the bartender saw our dog with us and immediately made him a whipped cream puppy cocktail with a bone on top. The sweetest gesture and our pup LOVED it! Theeeen she said ok what can I get you all to drink haha love it. They also have a small patio and a juke box. For $1 I think you get 3 or 4 songs. Perfect Sunday Funday for us all!

Such a good combination of local watering hole with a touch of class. The cocktail menu is fun and delicious. You can also get a simple beer. There's something for everyone. Discovered this cute bar at Lamar street. They validate parking. The decor and ambiance inside was really nice and aesthetic! We got $2 margaritas deal and were so happy with that! The vibe was fun inside, they have a small patio outside too. The service was good and there's plenty of space inside
