Unfortunately Disappointed - Not Booking for Our Production I was about to reach out to contact this company to cater a digital production project I'm working on--they seemed like a great local option. But after seeing multiple social media posts from respected food bloggers detailing shockingly unprofessional and hostile behavior from the owner, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. If this is how you treat local reviewers, I can't risk how they'd handle the demands of a large-scale production. Really unfortunate, as we were excited to support a local business.

James is fantastic!! He served me up the world's largest chili dog, had some fresh fries and threw in some Big Red soda when stopped by his truck. The food was truly fantastic, loooved the chili dog and my only regret is that I couldn't eat the whole thing. Food was really tasty and very reasonably priced. James is the best, definitely go stop by his food truck and say hi! You won't regret

Wish I could rate 0 stars. There is so much better bbq in Austin go literally anywhere else. The brisket was way too fatty but somehow dry at the same time. The owner is nuts. He is so rude it was crazy. Before we could even say anything and order he was extremely rude. Thought maybe he was just having a bad day but nope based on other peoples experiences that's just how this guy is. Do not go here, support a different small business with nice owners.

My hubby and I stopped in the Ice House since we saw it was new. While there, we ordered a pulled pork taco from Tru. It was fantastic! The meat was tender and smoky, but the smokiness was not over done. Highly recommend the taco!

Decent food if the owner wasn't so angry and rude every time. He treated me like trash of the street and I will never go there again. He's know for it. The customer is not always right but when you go there, you are wrong from the jump. I don't understand how some folks can be that angry and bitter every single day...

If you head over to Giddy Ups, you will meet Mr. James Diaz. He is the nicest, hard working, honest and friendliest owner in town! He was born and raised in Manchaca and has a profound love for brisket, barbecue and all the fixins! He used to be located on Rainey Street but it got a little too rowdy so his food truck is in the parking lot of Giddy Ups. If you like Brisket and Tacos, he makes the tortillas by hand and fresh. He rolls the dough and everything! James is an incredible chef and you will not regret going here! The queso is delectable, brisket and ribs mouthwatering, tacos to die for and pickles Heaven! I will forever support James and his amazing food truck whenever we finish dancing the night away at Giddy Ups- and you should to!

Stopped by the Way South food truck park craving BBQ and TRU BBQ hit the spot! Picked up brisket and ribs by the pound with all the fixin's and added fries and flautas. Everyone enjoyed it with each person having a favorite. I love the sauce - totally drinkable! James was super friendly and even offered us free water bottles while we waited as he wrapped up our big order. It's a great south Austin location near the beer garden with lots of parking available.

So, the owner was drunk when we ordered and said it would take 15 min. Cool no big deal. An hour later and still no food and when we go to check it seems they forgot we put in an order and then when we finally got our order, it was wrong. On top of all that, the food was bland. My "wrap" was literally a sausage link in a tortilla like straight up crackhead food idk this is the worst food truck I've ever been to.
