Such a fun little taco spot with plenty of character. You order right at the window, and while you wait there are tons of stickers to look at that give the place a playful, local feel. All the seating is outdoors, which adds to the casual vibe, and the galaxy-painted ceiling detail is just immaculate cuteness. As for the food, the tacos are seriously good. I've tried the chicken fajita, brisket, and birria, and each one was flavorful and satisfying. Portions are generous without being over the top, and everything comes out fresh and hot. The staff are super friendly, making the whole experience feel laid-back to hang out in their small outdoor area

I stopped by late night to grab something quick to eat after my flight. I got the brisket nachos. it was actually tasty, and the portion was generous. They were actually quite busy with a line waiting to order, and several customers coming and going for pickup orders. So it took a while to get my takeaway order when it was supposed to be quick! overall, though, I think they give generous portions of tasty food, so I would come back again if I'm ever back in the area.

Brisket taco - 5 stars! I couldn't even get a proper picture because it was so good. The diablo taco was also delicious. They make sure to stuff the tacos enough and the green salsa is amazing if you like hot foods. We took this to go but it was quick and made fresh. Easy place to pop in and out. There is dining and on site and street parking available. Will definitely be returning!

Between the 24/7 hours, the eclectic design and decor, and the huge and varied menu of bomb tacos this place is heaven sent for late night taco cravings, or truly anytime you need a quick taco pickup. Scooby, diablo shrimp, and puffy chicken tinga are my faves. Pro tip - order for pickup and chill out at the patio, it can get busy and backed up

It's frustrating, and frankly, EMBARRASSING that in a state like Texas, known for its deep ties to Mexican and Tex-Mex culinary traditions, that THIS is the taco spot that garners such popularity in Austin. Tyson's Tacos has become a go-to name, yet what it consistently delivers is lukewarm, dry and uninspired food that would never survive in California, where taco culture thrives in authenticity, flavor, and pride. We are Texas! Tacos should be our thing! But somehow, California is running laps around us, with high-quality, street-style tacos on nearly every corner. The fact that an establishment like this is considered a staple here feels like a slap in the face to our cultural potential. Ain't nobody gonna say nuthin!?!?!!! What's worse is that this isn't just a one-off bad experience. The meat is consistently dry. The food is CONSISTENTLY served lukewarm...borderline room temperature...and that alone should raise food safety questions. But beyond temperature, where is the care? The seasoning? The soul? I had some duck tacos so dry that I almost choked swallowing them. What is going on? It's clear the management has chosen this low standard. That's what stings the most. You have the opportunity to represent Austin proudly with something exceptional, but instead, you double down on mediocrity and convenience, pushing out subpar food to customers who deserve better. The long lines don't validate the quality. But they do enable the mediocrity to continue. Y'all...Even BASIC Tex-Mex joints outshine Tyson's in flavor, authenticity, and execution. This place could be so much more...but it clearly doesn't want to be. That's the real shame.

We ordered 2 $15 platter plates in which you can order 2 tacos with a side of rice and beans. There was a bunch of outdoor tables and chairs. They gave us 2 water cups, but we decided not to get water because there was pink slime on the spout of the water jug that had not been washed since the beginning of time. The wait for our order was not too long. They gave us plenty of salsas to dip our tacos in. All the ingredients seemed fresh, and the tacos had a good volume to them. It's a good thing I took my food to go, because I was stuffed to the seams and fell into a deep food coma. I am health conscious, so I could not see myself going more than once a month given that the tacos are saturated in oil and fat.

Visited 27th of Feb 2025 The good: nice little taco place near church. Great vibes, even if all the seating is outdoors. The staff are super friendly too. The bad: since it is outdoors the lighting can get a little iffy.
