Escalantes new happy hour menu was pretty good! The service is always great there and Armando the bartender always delivers! The atmosphere is just what i need after a hard day at work.

Margaritas were good! The waiters were friendly! I had the appetizer sampler. It was just enough for my husband and I to split! Love the location and the sculptures of the black indigenous people decor!

We love Escalante's margaritas during happy hour. This is a nice location plus there is free parking. There are not many options for pescetarians on the happy hour menu. I got the margarita on the rocks. It's great quality. My baked chips came quickly. I ordered a guacamole with no jalapeños. It had no salt. I had to add it. Plus I had to pick jalapeños out, instead of just enjoying the guacamole as is. I wish they had spinach quesadillas.

It's the same texmex plate and margaritas they have been serving for over 20 years. Just 3. Times more expensive. The locations are in better neighborhoods and the decor is more modern, that's about the only change. Still bottom shelf offerings for drinks in the their signature cocktails and still adding OJ to margaritas (whyyyyyy?). Some staff were attentive and helpful mine was below middling. It does alright, it's a good gathering spot, little loud but what ya gonna do.

We had reservations for 15 people here for birthday. Firstly, we were there right on time and our table was still not set yet! After waiting for 15 mins they started setting the tables. After we were seated we had to ask them to get water as it was over 90 degrees outside and we waited for our water for like 20-30 mins even after the drinks came they still forgot water to some of us. This was a chaos and unorganized. I mean half of the restaurant was empty and there were more employees than customers still they took forever to bring water on the table and completely forgot about my drinks. The server here had no knowledge of drinks or recommendations unlike other restaurants. My cousin picked this place I am not sure what he likes here but I found the tacos or the food was okay.

The queso!!!!!! It was so creamy and delicious I seriously feel like I blacked out eating so much of it, it was that good. The waiter was very friendly and the hostess was nice too. They sat us super fast and took our order right away. The queso tho, so good! I've always wanted to try it. I'm so glad I did. Pollo escalante was delicious. The grilled veggies were not my favorite as they tasted too Smokey for me. Everything else was delicious. The handmade flour tortillas were so soft and fluffy. Great presentation. The restaurant was not full at all. Very quiet and was able to hold a conversation with my aunt without having to shout across the table. Great place. I wish the weather was a bit hotter so that we could have sat outside. They have a great patio area.

I get tasty Pappasito's vibes. But the service was terrible. I feel they were short staffed. We had been looking forward to here! It was rough. Drinks food, 15+ minutes. Food cold. I wish yall luck.

I'm an enchilada guy. You can't make good enchiladas you aren't a Mexican restaurant. They use American cheese or velveta or something for their enchiladas and tacos. I can't stand enchiladas made this way. And if I wanted my taco that way I'd go to jack-in-the-box. The taco meat tastes like McCormick taco seasoning. The rice, bad. Beans, blah. Hot sauce was ok. Chips were really good. Service excellent. Staff, really nice. Inside was clean but blah. No one's holding a wedding reception here. Price was ok considering the portion size which was huge. Other menu items might be better but seriously, Pancho's makes better enchiladas. I want be back and I suspect within time neither will you. We were there at dinner time and the place was nearly empty. Again, staff was really nice. The product they sold was bad. Last, the guacamole was tasteless.

Let's give some compliments. Our server was Yinney (I may have spelled it wrong). She was a professional and always making sure we were good. Knew the menu. Today we had five of us. With family for the weekend. Four of us ate vegetarian and one Seafood. Guacamole made at the table. Everything was pretty good but nothing was awesome. The environment was vibrant. Birthday parties and we all joined in wishing random folks a great day. So if you want good service, a cool vibe and reasonably decent food... This is quite good.
