Shout out to the manager Charlie Reynaldo for providing an excellent experience for a party we recently had at Los Gallitos Sugar Land. We have been going to Los Gallitos for years and always enjoyed the service and food. Recently we used them to host my wife's birthday party. Staff was excellent, Orlando and Jorge made sure that our quest were treated well. Food and drinks were excellent and plentiful. We used the private area and décor was prefect.

Shrimp was spoiled or rotten or something I mentioned it and really nothing was done .. They forgot the queso for the ordered dish... Meat was good ..Drinks and tortillas are great .. But you just can't risk dropping El Tiempo type prices for spoiled food and missed items ..

Los Gallitos is my favorite Mexican restaurant here in Sugar Land! They have a kids play set so if you know your kids will want to play then you have the option to sit outside. We sat outside and it was spacious and very relaxing. Along with the play set, there is a lake in the back which is a great view. Their food is great too, tastes authentic and for a good price. The waitress Christine is AMAZING! She is incredibly patient and goes the extra mile for her customers.

The last time I reviewed this restaurant there was a foul sewage smell when I walked in the front door. I am happy to report that has been taken care of! The lovely drink in my pictures is the Manconada. It is a bit spicy, and bursting with flavor! It is a margarita that has blended mango parade and swirled with chamoy. I am happy that I was able to get a couple of pictures of the Chase of them deal while it was being made. I'm sure a video would've been nicer, but I'm happy that I didn't start eating before I got pictures. . The flameadois wonderfully messy tasty bursting with flavor! I had the Chorizo for additional flavor! This is not a dish to eat wearing your Sundays best! Because the cheese is so gooey and stringy. Their corn tortilla looks so much like flour that I initially disputed whether it was corn or not. However, it turns out that the tortillas were corn.. The bartender, yes, I said at the bar, was not very attentive, and I had to ask for water. In her defense, I will say that she was busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. My dish was good. My drink was excellent and I recommend stopping in and giving you a try. The foot traffic was quite brisk while I was there so you might want to plan for a short wait if you want to sit outside. GN3

My sister, my son and myself all loved all the plates we got. The tostada ceviche chefs kiss- super fresh. The chicken taco yum and healthy not too salty and simple with a fresh flour tortilla, the bacon wrapped shrimp and cheese enchiladas!! Uhg soooo good! Everything was better than expected.

This is a cute restaurant! When you first walk in it looks small but there's a back area and even a patio area with a nice water fountain. The servers and waitresses were very nice and on it! We got the octopus plate, steak fajitas and 2 margaritas....the margaritas were 2 for 5 on Wednesday...the Rita's gave me a lil buzz so that was good,lol. The octopus came with two octopus. The fajitas were ok. I has to pay an extra 5 dollars for a little scoop of sour cream and shreded cheese for my son...which I would have did without if I knew it was that much. The food was just OK but the frozen Rita's were pretty strong. I'll be back for the Rita's.

I just had a fabulous birthday party at Los Gallitos for 32 guests. The manager and I met at the restaurant and went over the menu and setup for my guests. He was very patient and accommodating for my requests. The evening of the party, the staff was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was definitely 5 stars. The portions were plentiful. The flavored frozen margaritas were awesome and in large stem glasses. The desserts were several choices, Flan, Banana Burrito, Tres Leche cake, Churros, Fried Ice Cream and Bread Pudding, my favorite dessert. I tasted a few that my guest ordered and all were delicious and nice portions. All my guests raved about the food and atmosphere and mentioned it was the best party they've been to. They haven't stopped raving about the food and service. Thank you to friendly attentive staff and the excellent manger, Charley, who runs a great ship. Thank you!!!

I'm planning another milestone birthday party. The food and service was excellent. The view is the icing on the cake. We ordered Parrillidas that were delicious and dessert. Excellent attentive service.

We decided to give this place a try since we just moved into the neighborhood (we normally go to LOS TIOS). I ordered a skinny margarita with casamigos and honestly i was terrible... and the manager decides to charge me $55 for a margarita that's normally $12-15????" Because I asked for premium tequila??? Then when I asked for a reason he basically just said it was the upcharge. Don't go here. Terrible food, terrible drinks and most importantly TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
