Best sushi in Missouri city , compared to new sushi in Sienna, they have more selection and better quality of fish and meat. Will recommend to all of my friends and family.

My hubby and I decided to eat dinner here before heading to the movie theater. It is conveniently located at the same complex. We came on a Sunday evening Memorial weekend. It wasn't busy when we arrived. They have two TVs showing the NBA Eastern playoffs, which my hubby enjoyed. Bathrooms were clean and didn't smell. The restaurant itself was clean. Our lady waitperson was attentive and explained the menu for us thoroughly since it was our first time. The only thing I didn't like (and annoyed me) was when she took my sushi plate when I wasn't done eating from it. She had asked but took it before I could answer as my mouth was full. Other than that the service was good. The rolls we ordered tasted pretty good. They were the right size (not too big not too small). We also ordered cocktails from the bar (lemon drop, old fashioned, and espresso martini). They were alright but didn't taste like it had enough alchohol. I would recommend trying this place out. I would definitely be back and try the other things in their menu and the AYCE menu.

Summary: Ever since Taotao, the boba place, arrived at the far end of Missouri City, I discovered there's a plaza there. Then my friend told me about Sapporo. The venue itself is pretty small, and the menu includes options for all-you-can-eat (AYCE), à la carte dishes, and a boba menu from Taotao. I assume they either share the same owner or are collaborating. I came in wanting to try everything to get a good sense of the restaurant, especially since a friend recommended it. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring myself to like it. Appetizers & Food: Looking at the menu, the AYCE selection seemed limited compared to other places. There were plenty of fried appetizers, but I was hoping for more sushi-style options. Most appetizers had jalapeño, which I'm not a fan of. When I ordered Udon Beef, I specified that I wanted Udon Beef Soup since the menu wasn't clear (and, side note, the menu had lots of typos). When it arrived, it turned out to be fried udon instead. I was then told they didn't have Udon Soup. Normally, when a menu lists udon, it implies soup, but I guess I was mistaken. Sashimi & Sushi: The presentation was decent, and I appreciated the effort, but I'm here for the food, not just the visuals. The sashimi didn't taste fresh; it lacked that buttery, melt-in-your-mouth quality; which I feel like my home-made Salmon tasted better. The sashimi seemed like a lower-grade cut, which highlighted a slight fishiness--not ideal. The scallops were served plain and raw with no seasoning or sauce; Scallops are usually dressed with sauce and some may add mayo or lightly seared to enhance their flavor. When I asked if they could make a scallop roll, they said it would be charged à la carte. While they're not obligated to fulfill my request, it added to the lack of customer-centric vibes. Overall, the quality didn't feel AYCE-worthy. While I know eating raw fish has a risk, but this is a high risk if the fish is not fresh. Rolls The rolls were underwhelming, with little to no sauce. Instead, they relied heavily on jalapeño. Each roll came with 8 pieces, which felt excessive, so we stopped ordering them after 1. I appreciated that Oma Sushi allowed four pieces per roll, reducing waste if you didn't like them. The hand rolls, however, were incredibly dry. For instance, the salmon mango hand roll only had three ingredients--no avocado, cucumber, or sauce to tie it together. It felt bland and incomplete. Service We had both a server and a trainee, and the difference between the two was stark. The server showed little enthusiasm and didn't seem to be guiding the trainee, while the trainee--despite it being her first day--was attentive and kind. For example, we had to ask the server for ponzu sauce multiple times, and she kept forgetting. When we asked the trainee, she brought it to us immediately. And it wasn't even busy; there were plenty of staff around. As for tipping, I wasn't sure how it was split, but I tipped as usual. If it were up to me, I'd give the trainee most of it and little to the server. The trainee was the highlight of the experience--thank you for your effort and professionalism! TLDR: I don't think I'll be coming back. While I enjoy exploring new AYCE places, I often leave disappointed, and this was no exception. I'll stick to my favorites for now. Wishing this business the best, but it's just not for me.

I thought this was an average sushi spot for vegetarians. Pros were the service was good, it looked new and clean, plenty of parking spots, and they were flexible with the menu. They have a few vegetarian options but all seemed very basic and plain compared to when you look at the large variety of sushi options with meat in them. We ended up customizing our own sushi. We got a cucumber and avocado roll and added asparagus and cream cheese to it. It was a little too heavy on the cream cheese. We also tried vegetable gyozas. The gyoza covering itself was hard on the edges but the flavor was delicious. Would return if they add more unique vegetarian sushi options to the menu.

When you try an all you can eat place and you have a feeling of "this is too good to be true" you're off to. Good start. I like that it's not a buffet and you can just ask the staff which ones you would like to have I also like that the appetizer portion sizes aren't too big so you can try many Overall, the sushi is excellent, highly recommend coming here for lunch.

I'm sad to have to give Sapporo a lower rating, as my brother really enjoys this place for its all you can eat sushi option. Unfortunately, though, my experience was not great. The service was pretty bad. My mom received the wrong dish (not what she ordered) and it had to be sent back. Our server just misheard so no big deal, but it took forever to get the incorrect dish in the first place so it took even longer to get the correct one. I ordered a spicy roll (I forget the name now) and I went through my water while waiting for my food. My water was never refilled throughout the meal, despite our extra long wait and the spice level of my dish. It was almost as if our server was avoiding our table after we had to politely send something back. My roll was very good, though. And I'd likely give this place another chance without issue. Just not the best first time. Hopefully next time will be better!

Food was good, service was good, they have an all you can seat option will reasonable rules but we didn't take that option as they also have à la carte as we don't eat a lot . Our ticket was less than the all you can eat price. FYI the all you ca eat doesn't include drinks as well.

I really like the all you can eat lunch special for $19.95 the selection is awesome, much better than the selection at the new Sienna location of Haya Sushi! As a sushi lover, it my go-to neighborhood restaurant for fresh sushi. The waitstaff are very friendly and accommodating. Very little wait time.

Ordered hibachi for take out. It comes with salad and clear broth. I ordered one steak and chicken combo, and one shrimp and scallop combo. Hubby and I split the proteins so we can have all of them in a combo bowl. They give you yum yum (mayo based) sauce and ginger sauce. The food was good but for the price, they could have given a little more protein. The crab Rangoon was okay and needs little more filling. We put the noodles in the clear broth and that set it off!

Omg their ayce deal is amazing!! ~$20/pp during lunch with a 2 hr time limit. That's more than enough time to get your moneys worth. Everything on the menu is delicious. They have a wide variety of appetizers to choose from- including rice dishes, katsu, and crab Rangoons. The sushi is beyond tasty- I tried almost every roll and the only one that wasn't good was the one with coconut sauce (I can't remember the name). The servers are attentive and pleasant. There's even a robot that will sometimes bring your items to you. I went 2x in the span of 2 weeks and will definitely be back.
