1st time trying Alamo. Check-in in Philadelphia was Excellent! But I could not get online x press to wk... so I ended up back of line. But.. the guy working line was very fast and efficient!! And very pleasant. I thought the Nissan drove fantastic. Dropped in Richmond VA- excellent very fast- the girl was so sweet and professional!!!! 5 stars (but ck the online stuff- had trouble with site- but could have been my phone. )

had a fantastic experience with both Shar and Erin at the Houston Hobby Airport location. Shar was the one who helped me get my rental vehicle, and the process could not have been easier. She went above and beyond by giving me great advice on which areas are safe, where to eat, and where to have a good time during my stay. She was warm, personable, and we even bonded because her son is joining the military and I served for about eight years myself. I was able to share some advice and experiences, and it truly felt like talking to a friend, not just a rental agent. Erin was my return agent, and she made that process just as smooth. She was super nice, extremely helpful, and even caught that I had left a few items in the vehicle--something I tend to do since I'm forgetful. Her attentiveness and hospitality really stood out. Both Shar and Erin represent Alamo/National with professionalism and genuine care for customers. I left feeling taken care of, and I highly recommend this location!

Today we returned from our cruise from Galveston Port. We arrived to Hobby Alamo and was greeted by Monica Winfree . Excellent Customer Service; Ms Monica Winfree asked questions to make sure that we had the right accommodations. We had a lost while at sea but the burdens were lighten once receiving Great Customer Service. Thank you Monica Winfree.

Going on a road trip, I needed a car bc I did 't want to use my own due to the wear and tear. I've been renting from Alamo for years, but the last few times (May, Aug, Oct) were the worst. Barely any cars on the lot. I did the Skip the Counter, which I normally do, but couldn't the last 2 times because there were NO vehicles (I'm not exaggerating) to choose from and I was forced to go to the counter. Relayed my request for the type of vehicle and then waited, waited, waited, and waited as they tried to hand me a minivan or large suv. There were reasons why I reserved the vehicle I did. I specially ordered and paid for a crossover suv and that's what I would have expected to be ready for me at 11:30am (reserved pickup time). But nope. It was frustrating to say the least. I came here during my lunch hour so that I could pick up the car and head back to work for a meeting. 1.5hrs later I was finally given the type of vehicle I reserved after they had to get it from some other lot. I was observing this entire communication between the employees, and they really need some sort of headset and tablet to keep track of who needs what etc. It just seemed like chaos. If they did have them then they weren't using them efficiently. The employees were nice, but that still wasn't enough for me to crank up their star value. The long wait and lack of vehicles really irritated me. It will definitely make me question whether or not I will use them again in the future.

We had a flat tire and there was no jack in the car. We were stranded on the interstate for hours and had to pay to have the car towed. Will NEVER use Alamo again due to their lack of service!

I'm not even sure why this location has such a low rating! First, I just became a Alamo loyalist! Why? Ms.P you're awesome! Ms.Mary you're a gem! D at the counter, I don't want to mess up your name, thank you! Came in on Friday, July 26th. These three made my visit one to remember. Even the sweet lady who picked us up from the airport! Great customer service! You better believe I'm coming back and using this franchise from here on out. Kudos to the manager, you hired a group of WINNERS!

The worse experience I have ever had, from the time of them not wanting to follow through with the original booking. To them lying saying they cant cancel booking and making me pay twice. The vehicle was dirty when received, it's like they just wet the car and gave it to me. There is no direct number to the actual location and apparently customer service knows nothing about what actually goes on in the store. I would never rent here again !

Amazing staff I wish I remembered her name I just remembered she is from Ethiopia she was amazing super friendly and attentive. We were in on Wednesday October 25th around 12/1 Front desk worker took care of us even though they didn't have our car she got us in something similar for a good price and made sure that we knew that we are not being forgotten because it took a awhile for us to get the car. One of her coworkers was trying to give our car away to a walk-in and she said oh no no they have a reservation they come first. Haven't had customer service like in a very long time thank you for making our trip to Houston a pleasure. If all Alamo workers are like this I'm a customer for life.
