DO NOT STAY HERE!! YOUR HEALTH IS AT BAY. They have mold! We booked the room last min for the Renaissance tour. The first room we were offered (#120) smelled strongly of urine. The odor was so intense it begin to irritate my throat. We asked to move rooms due to the smell. The second room (#114) didn't smell like urine, but the air was still very musty/stale. After walking around the room in socks, we discovered a soaking wet carpet (from the AC condensation), likely the cause of the mold. We did not stay the night, but in the few hours we were at the motel, I started sneezing repeatedly, and my eyes were leaking. I also experienced a sore throat, and chest discomfort. I have now been sick for over a week, as have the two others I shared the room with. I did not have any of these symptoms prior to my visit. I have asthma, so I can only imagine what staying here could do to someone who is immunocompromised. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Please stay away from this motel. You might be enticed by the cost, but your health shouldn't be the price to pay.

We stayed here in November 2019 because I had an appointment with MD Anderson. We had no issues with the hotel and plan on staying here for my next appointment. Reasons why we stayed here: - Located next to Olive Garden, Smashburger, and a Kroger. - Has medical rates if you have a medical appointment. - Has a courtesy van, which we used and had no problems. The driver was respectful and courteous. Without me asking, he provided a stool to help me step up into the van, even though I do not look sick in any way. - Has similar amenities to other hotels in the medical district: free breakfast, Wifi, noon time check out, etc. - Price is excellent, even if you don't have the medical rate. - Hotel doors open to the outside (not into a hallway) so we are able to put our vehicle right outside the room for easy access. This was important to me as I have a sarcoma tumor in my leg and walking is difficult. - Refrigerator and microwave in room so we can chill and re-heat our own food, saving on food expenses. For all these reasons, I recommend this hotel to others. Who should NOT stay here? You should not choose this hotel if: - You are expecting a high level of service. This is a low cost, good value hotel, but do not expect special services other than what is advertised: a room, breakfast, and the van. - You are expecting a new hotel. This hotel is older. I can tell it has been updated, but it is still obviously older construction. - You are expecting nice, luxurious rooms and bathroom. These are low cost, basic rooms. They are serviceable but nothing special. That is why the price is so good.

I did not like like the smell of the room ( I was transferred to two rooms) and the second room stank too. The person above me was very loud . I won't recommend this hotel to no one. Stay away!!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE. I would rate this place ZERO stars if I could. Front desk lady was extremely rude and unprofessional, she was lifting her shirt and scratching her stomach while talking to us. We ended up wanting extra people in our room so we had to upgrade a room with 3 beds. Well as soon as we got into the new room we found tools laying around on one of the beds! It looked as if the workers had just left and there was also no electricity in one of the rooms. Do yourself a favor and STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I give no stars really. It was HORRIBLE. They put me in a smoking room and I requested non-smoking. And it was literally a hole in the wall. I hope to NEVER come back here ever. The management didn't do anything to help me.
