They did a fantastic job with our wedding in terms of keeping it organized and on point. The whole event flowed smoothly on the day of. We got lots of compliments about the venue and food. It seemed like everyone really enjoyed it. The pictures on the website are accurate and this is a very good facility for both the ceremony and dinner. We looked around town quite a bit and did not find a nicer venue. The chapel was surrounded by trees - creating a serene environment - and the dining area was a very elegant dining room with adjacent outdoor patio areas, bar and dance floor. The venue is high quality with a classic style and requires very little to no additional decorating. They will do any tablecloth or centerpiece upgrades, etc, for you. They also coordinate with the florist so you really have no venue preparation work beforehand unless you are doing something highly customized. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous which was a concern because you want guests to be happy and well fed. You do need to be aware that kids meals are not the same as adult meals, which seems obvious in retrospect. But, we didn't understand that until after we sent out our invites with RSVP's. I think it was an oversight on our part with so much going on. Luckily, the kids liked their meals. There are two types of wedding venues: 1) Venues where you rent a space and then do everything else yourself, and 2) venues that are more turn-key. Turn key places charge lower amounts for facilities but charge more for food and alcohol which you can't get from a third party vendor. That's the trade off. Prices around town just to rent a venue like the Julia Ideson Library for example are extremely high for what you get, so it made sense just to pick a good venue and have them do most of the work for us. AG is turn key. I think it evened out with what we would have paid to do all the work ourselves, so that was a big plus that we got a high quality wedding without having to attend to all the details ourselves. Otherwise, you have to rent chairs and silverware and handle all the little details yourself. Since the food at the venue was excellent, it didn't matter that we couldn't have it catered. The wedding coordinator on the day of was a big help and kept us from having to do event management on the wedding day. You will still have to hire a DJ, photographer, florist, minister and getaway driver, so there is still a lot of work to do for a wedding. All those people can coordinate pretty easily with the event planner, though. The wedding planner even took it on herself the day of to call the limo company that was picking us up and make sure it happened on time so the car was just waiting for us. Also, if you have a served meal as opposed to buffet, you will need to do your own seating chart and name placards. You will also need to bring in your gift card holders and small details like that. Just be aware. You'll likely have to do that anywhere, though. It was a great experience getting married here. Update: 7 months later, people still keep talking about what a good wedding it was. One out of town guest said it was the best venue she'd ever been to. I just saw Cody J's review and am confused as to what all the issues were. AG certainly does not warrant 1 star. That is somewhat bothersome to see your wedding venue get dinged by someone and have him say the venue was lacking when it wasn't. You do have to be really organized and understand what is going on to keep your wedding at a certain budget. There are simply too many options and variables that only the couple can make decisions on. You have to ask tons of questions. That is true basically anywhere. It doesn't seem like he knew what was going on.

Sadly, my wedding was here back in July. The communication was terrible since the beginning, and it is still terrible now. We never felt welcomed, and I will never forget walking in less than a week before my wedding (because my wedding planner changed a week before) and being scanned up and down by my old wedding planner and the management as I said hi and smiled to them, and didn't get a single response or smile in return as a walked by with my new wedding planner who was provided by Ashton Gardens. It is now November, and they still struggle with communication of whether a clothes steamer was left there. It's been over a month since I have reached out, I have reached out three times to a personal number and no response. Just about sums up the communication with said wedding planner for 14 months. The day of was a disaster and yelp would not let me type everything out because it was 'too negative'... when it was the order of events and how many things went wrong. Don't recommend. Wish I could turn back the clock:,)

What beautiful venue! The staff was really nice, and the party planners. Everything you want and need is right here. The only suggestions I have so this won't happened to the next couple. They had two beautiful chocolate dipped fruit bouquets. Unfortunately, there were no napkins and you use coffee saucers for serving. Make sure the DJ you provide checks with the party planner or groom on how to pronounce the grooms last name. When my son and his bride came down the stairs the DJ didn't pronounce thier last name correctly. The Bride and Groom had a great time!! The guests were impressed by the venue. I highly recommend Ashton Gardens North.

I absolutely love Ashton Gardens-North! I celebrated my 15th birthday at this beautiful venue exactly 15 years (2007) ago so when picking my wedding venue Ashton Gardens just had so much meaning to me and my family. One of my little girl dreams came true!! I hope this venue still around when my kids get older. It would be a lovely family tradition to celebrate all of our special events here. Thank you to Madison and Hailey for being so helpful.

Great facility. Went to a wedding there and it was magical. The chapel, the hall and the folks running it were all focused on making this a great and memorable celebration. Well done!

Poor management. Wouldn't recommend them at all. Horrible place to deal with considering last time I was there I got a severe poison ivy rash.

I got married here in 2013. Beautiful Venue. Pictures came out wonderful. I highly suggest checking this place out. It's a great Photo opp. The wedding planners are on point. Didn't fell rushed everything went smooth. I just went with the flow and did as I was told by my "operator". She was sweet and always there when I looked up. ready to help in anyway. My little personal assistant. If it wasn't for her I would of just drank the whole time and got nothing done. I was productive because of her:) The Perfect day! Oh and we opted for a sit down meal. I don't like wedding buffets. All dressed up, in heels trying to carry a plate is not my vibe. It was like a movie. the graceful staff quiet and swiftly kept our drinks full. The chicken Florentin is what we chose. It is to this day my favorite dish. My husband makes it now. our anniversary is today! 8yrs. SO he'll make it tonight, They picked up our finished plates. No dirty dishes left in front of us which is my biggest pet peeve. And kept it moving. I didn't have any issues. we had outside vendor as far as the DJ and photographer. Those were my issues. But also probably my fault for planning a wedding in 72days. You won't be disappointed. although it could have changed the way they do things since 2013.

The venue is gorgeous, and the chapel speaks for itself. A wedding coordinator is included when you book at Ashton Gardens! Paige, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. She is kind, patient, professional, and organized. Not only is she on top of every little detail, but she is so pleasant to work with. It is so evident she enjoys her job and truly cared about making the day perfect for us. She was responsive to all my emails and questions leading up to the day. The process of working out our day-of itinerary, setting the details, and customizing the layout of the ballroom with her went smoothly. While the venue does have restrictions on outside vendors, Paige worked with us to accommodate our request. On the day of, she did an excellent job of setting everything up according to my labels and instructions, packing it all up at the end of the night, and making sure everything in between ran smoothly. I think the only thing that went "wrong" on our day was that the champagne we ordered for the bridal suite was not provided. I didn't notice until the end of the night when we got to our hotel and found that the bottle of champagne was sent home with us in our to-go bag (yes, they pack up our leftover food and cake for us!). Such a small detail, and quite honestly we were so busy during the day with hair and makeup and getting all our photos in, it didn't bother me at all. One downside of the venue is that day-of access begins at 11am. With request and approval from corporate, we were allowed 10am access. We made it work with our hair & makeup and photo schedule, but the late access time is definitely something to consider if you are wanting to get ready at the venue. We were very impressed with the level of service from the wait staff. They introduced themselves to us (B&G) and checked up on us frequently throughout dinner. They remembered our guests' drinks and offered refills. During cocktail hour, they came into the chapel and served hors d'oeuvres to family members waiting to take family photos. I could go on and on about everything the venue offers and how they think of every detail...but I'll let you find out for yourself when you visit and plan with them. All in all, we loved our day and it could not have gone any better. Paige and the staff played a huge part in making the day as special as it was.

Beautiful venue with amazing staff! We enjoyed every moment of our wedding day here, from the planning, food, cocktail hour, and our coordinator everything happened perfectly! They let you try a sample menu which really helped us make a decision on our entrees and cocktail bites! Our coordinator Paige was amazing!! She was so professional and quick to reply to any question or concern we had. I still get compliments about how this was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever been to. I would recommend this place for all couples wanting a stress-free, beautiful wedding!

Ashton Gardens will be in my memory forever, because this is where I married the love of my life. Save the awws...and let's get down to why it is such an amazing place to get married by referring to my handy-dandy Top 5 List. #1. This place is beautiful. Chapel and reception hall in one location tucked into a nook of the piney woods. #2. The food is awesome. Mashed potato martini bar? Had it. Chocolate fountain? yup. Some of the best h'or d'oeurves I have ever had? yes ma'am. #3. All inclusive: Each package includes location rental, food (all but the cake), drinks, linens, and centerpieces. #4 Our wedding coordinator was helpful without being pushy. #5 Deals! We paid for our own wedding and they worked with our budget and it came out spectacular. #6 (ok I know I said Top 5 but I would be remiss if I didn't mention this) Worked in our limited time frame. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks and they worked with us, despite the time crunch. Call for a tour if you are getting married or having a large party or a quincenera. Just look at the pictures...you can not take a bad picture here.
