We held our son's high school graduation party at Azul Reception Hall last night, and I had to take the first opportunity to provide a review. The hall is a nice size and flexible, with ample kitchen space, a bar area (if needed), a DJ booth, and reasonably sized restrooms. The decorator did a wonderful job with the drapery, and they have all the tools and decorations to make the venue look and feel how you want. The difference between Azul and other venues is the staff. WOW is the lasting thought I will take from our event. From the owner to the catering staff, their flexibility, attentiveness, helpfulness, and overall investment in the happiness of the guests and the success of the event is all too rare. They helped make a wonderful lasting memory for our son, our family, and all our guests.

From the outside it's in a very unattractive strip. I don't know how the inside looks though because I called 3 different times, left a VM so that I can receive a tour, and still haven't heard from anyone. I was trying to give them a chance because their packages/pricing looked decent, but the lack of communication...may be my sign. *shrugs*

My experience with Azul Reception was the best I have ever had at any given banquet hall. There were zero complaints on my part and the night was full of surprises. The color scheme for the night (black and gold) was breathtaking, the tapestries and setup in general were amazing with beautiful centerpieces. The main backdrop was decorated in accordance with the event (My High school Graduation) and made for the best selfie and professional picture stop. The food was exactly as we had tasted it and made everyone crave seconds and the waiters/waitresses were so attentive throughout the entire night. The dance space is large enough for your entire hall to be bouncing and jamming to the great acoustics and Dolores, the hall owner, is understanding and flexible in all of your requests and last minute partyzilla worries. I would rate this place 5 stars and from speaking with my guests both friends, family, and educators they enjoyed the experience as well. It was a night I will soon not forget and a banquet hall that will become family norm in future events to come. Thank you very much Azul Reception!
