I've been to several events here, all of which were related to the Touchdown Club of Houston. The venue itself is roomy and comfortable with easy restroom access and good parking. The staff is mostly good at what they do. What I don't like is that every time I have been here, they've had all but one or two gates to the facility closed. There might be a good reason for that, but I can't figure it out.

Attended a charity event, which seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Spacious fenced in lot. Open foyer, clean restrooms, gigantic space for wedding, charity events, and anything that needs 500+ seats. There's an apartment complex right next to the area.

I've been to two events at Bayou City Event Center and I've enjoyed the experience both times. Bayou City has a spacious parking lot with plenty of spaces which is always a big plus. Once you walk in, the inside is spacious too. The meals I've had here have been solid too. It's not easy for a chef to cook for 100+ so a job well done here. If you're looking for a large event space, Bayou City is a great choice!

I was at Bayou City Event Center in order to volunteer at the 2016 Filipino Street Fest. -Location and Parking. The event center has huge parking lots.The visitors might use "street parking".. Metro rail station is located near the event center.It might be "some walking distance".You don't like walking, please use Uber from the METRO parking. - We used the Pavilion. Website http://www.bayoucityeventcenter.com/pavilion.html The website says Featuring 14,000 square feet of covered outdoor space, this facility is extremely spacious and provides covered seating for up to 1,000 banquet-style or 1,600 theater-style. We ensure a comfortable experience by providing ample restrooms, high-powered ceiling fans, ice machines, sinks and a large food holding area. The above explanation is correct in my opinion. The restrooms are OK.(I am a man.I can judge only men's room).I volunteer at a beverage booth. It was easy for me to deliver ice from the ice machines.I am not sure if I can say" Large" food holding area. But It was Okay. -Stage and music . Regarding the stage, I was one of the dancer on the stage. I was deeply concerned about music.In our past events at other venues, , we often had problems on music, DJ. computer, sound, etc.Sometime,our dance music didn't start .However, we didn't have any music problems at the event center.Everything was OK.It was one of my best dance ever.Salamat(Thank you in Tagalog) -Vendors We used parking lots.There are many vendors. Some of the vendors sold Filipino street foods.I got one food.It looked like some Pig or chicken's hand and fingers It made me feel eating my hand and fingers. .It was delicious. Actually, the foods were running out at the most of the vendors.They closed in 3 or 4 hours. After the event, I volunteered to clean and break down\ The website says We want to leave you with less to worry about, so trust in the professionalism of Bayou City Event Center Actually, I saw many employees working at the center in order to help our event. The employees worked with volunteers and clean the table. They did a great job! Salamat. Overall, this event was a tremendous success in my opinion. Thank you,Bayou Event Center!

Hennyfest was just a cash cow. I am not even sure that was actual Hennessey being served. It took one hour to buy an overpriced, nasty drink. How do u mess up an incredible hulk?? Drink lines were stupid long, and some bartenders were allowing patrons to cut in front of people who had already been waiting forever. My main concern was having to throw away my water bottle at the gate when it was like 97 degrees outside. That tells me that there was a general lack of concern for anyone's health. Great event we attended here. The Beauty Fashion and Beyond Fashion Show. The location was a nice size and clean. My fav was the waiting area in the ladies restroom! Decorated so elegantly.

You know you've had an amazing experience when, as you are walking to your car, you feel the incessant urge to whip out your phone and leave a review. The first thing i noticed as i entered the center was its nice, cool temperature: a haven from the oppressive heat. The second thing i noticed was the elegant design. Its hard to equipt such a large space with novel details, but the center manages to do so. Beautiful crown molding decorates the vaulted ceilings, and the fireplace made the banquet area warm and intimate. The staff was attentive and thorough, making sure each guest (and boy were there a lot of guests! ) feel important and looked after. The food was an experience in itself ! Made in house, the ice cream, watermelon salad, and burger sliders were scrumptuous! My only complaint about this place is that i was not aware of its existence when planning my own wedding, as i would nost certainly have hosted it here (and would have saved a ton on wall drapery and lighting!! ) Will definitely be keeping this venue in mind for all my future event needs :)

I've been here twice for work events, both casino nights, and for large groups, this place WORKS. It's easy to access from 610 and is even close to the light rail if people decide to ride from the med center or downtown. The parking and interior can easily accommodate thousands of people. If guests are all leaving at the same time, there will be a bit of a traffic jam, but that holds true anywhere. The space inside is new and clean, but not overly modern and could easily mold to fit the theme of most events. The wait staff has been exceedingly pleasant, and there are people constantly clearing plates, replacing chafing dishes or emptying trash cans. The reason I wouldn't give a 5th star is that I have not been impressed with the AV set up. The video and sound have been really bad on both of my visits. So for an AV heavy event like a conference or lecture, this venue might not be your best bet. It's perfect for large banquets and parties.
