the ONLY reason why I took a star is because of the decor of the restaurant. it's definitely a quick bite to eat for lunch or if you are passing through, but don't miss it because it literally looks a bit abandoned on the outside. but let me tell you, I almost cried when I thought the head lady was gone. I stay in the area, so I would ALWAYS go grab one of her burgers before heading home. and maaaaaaan, it's soooo good! I came back from moving from Cypress, Tx last week and moved back into the area for now so OF COURSE, I went to BMH to see if she was there and she wasn't. but after a day or two, I seen the open sign and RUSHED inside :) she remembered me and she was curious on where I went! after a quick chat, I promised her that I would be back and sure enough, I was back the following day ordering her juicy hamburger basket. My best friend who was with me ordered her chicken sandwich, which I never tried but after seeing his face and the devoured chicken sandwich, I know that's on my to-do list when I come back. the lady that took my order also cooks the food, so be a bit patient and you'll see how much love she puts into your food. as you can see, I been in love with her cooking for over a year. BMH also have other options like Papusa, Tacos, Tamales and even a kids menu! Everything is handmade and made with pure love and motivation! *She takes cash & cashapp only!!! so remember to have these two forms of payments before entering. I would just take cash honestly, just in case you'll want to buy a extra soda or whatnot :)* if you do happen to pass through, maybe you are going to downtown or seeing a friend, try the hamburgers FIRST! then it'll just make sense to come back again! :) and tell the main lady, Shai sent you!

Found this place solely on the yelp reviews. Almost passed it up coming here, it's a small single building on the side of the road, with a small parking lot, across from a church. I was intrigued by the variety of types of food, and how good it was. I think this is how I would have to open a restaurant, as it feels that they only make dishes that they know how to make, very well. There were 2 Hispanic old ladies there waiting to take my order and cook, they were very nice and mannered, as that's a hit or miss, at certain restaurants. I orders an old fashioned cheeseburger meal with fries, 4 salvadorian pupusas, and some fried fish with shrimp. They were missing some stuff like fried chicken wings and plantains, but whatever, I wanted to try their food. It took a while to make but well worth it, glad I went off of the reviews. It was a considerable amount of food, for how cheap it was. Highly recommend!

I love how vegetarian friendly BMH is, I had a veggie pupusa, fries and an egg roll. There was this type of relish that came with my pupusa it was sweet, tangy, crunchy and went amazingly well with the pupusa. The salsa was so fresh and juicy I could've drank it. OK, the place is called best made hamburgers but it should be called best made pupusas!!! They have the BEST pupusas, I usually order the ones with cheese and chicharon and OMG they are awesome. You need only one or two as she is not cheap with the portions. The lady is super sweet and you can call before and place your order. Its also very affordable, so I say don't judge the place by the looks and go and try the pupusas!! yummy!!
