Booked a three-hour sunset bat tour with Buffalo Bayou Kayak and it did not disappoint! I'm not the most fit person (say hello to my noodle arms), but the entire group was extremely patient with me and made sure to check on my fatigue level the entire time. Even though it was quite dark by the time we made it to the bat bridge, we were able to see them fluttering against the twilight sky. It was such a calming journey back in the dark, with lights on our boats and the twinkling skyline of Houston in the backdrop. My arms, neck, and back are in so much pain the day after but it was well worth the trip and the effort!

The tour was relaxing, beautiful, and informative. David was super personable and did a great job explaining the bayou ecosystem and history of the area. I do recommend being in decent physical shape to get in and out of the kayak and make the ~six mile journey. I will definitely be back!

My son and I rented kayaks for two hours and had a blast! Blake had the kayaks ready when we arrived and we were on the water very quickly. The temps in Houston were in the 100's, but it didn't feel that hot on the water. I highly recommend renting their kayaks!
