Buy five pounds of crawfish for $30 - and get a pound for free! Ya can't find deals like that around Houston. (And if you do, please tell me!) The original Cajun Stop was off Jefferson in EaDo, but sometime after a change in ownership, they relocated to the Greater East End off Telephone Road (kinda nearby Bohemeo's and Mimo). We dropped in for their crawfish special, along with gumbo, grilled oysters, soft shell crab poboy, and a bucket o'beer. I liked the gumbo roux, but the only difference between the chicken and sausage gumbo and the seafood gumbo, was that the seafood gumbo had shrimp (no fish, no crab, no oysters).

First time trying this place drove 30 minutes from Nw Houston to the SE, for pickup we did order by phone and the person taking the order was very informative. They have a special of crawfish buy 5 pounds and get 1 free or buy 3 or more pound for $6.99. We picked up 6 pounds of crawfish they were good we got mild and garlic and location is pretty cool would come back and dine in the future, the inside looks pretty chill and the outside looks pretty nice.The strawberry tres leches cake was so moist, rich, and the frosting was so delicious regret not buy another piece of cake. Shrimp were big, corn was sweet, potatoes well cooked. Strongly recommend this place.

The taste and quality of the food has completely gone down since they moved from Jefferson street. The new owners do not care about the quality of the food. I was coming here faithfully at the Jefferson location and assumed the food would be the same and I was wrong!!!! My seafood was spoiled and my crab legs were so old they were brown I had to get a refund!!
