I'd heard about Cidercade from a friend, and once I saw it online, I knew I wanted to check it out. What a fun time! Rows of vintage games. I'm talking Galaga, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug, Ms. Pac-Man, Mario Cart and over twenty pinball machines l. It was like stepping back in time. It does get a bit crowded on Saturday mornings because of birthday parties, but that didn't take away from the fun. Most of the kids are busy with the newer games, so there's still plenty of space for the classics. Don't forget to check out basketball and skee ball and some really cool game floors that I didn't get a chance to try out. The energy is great and it's such an easy, nostalgic way to spend a few hours together. Food offerings are a little limited, but that's easily fixed -- don't miss having breakfast (or lunch) right across the street at The Flying Biscuit Café, which is fantastic. This was a great date for me and my husband -- it totally brought back memories of playing arcade games at the skating rink back in the day. Total fun, and we'll definitely be back!

Cidercade in Houston is a seriously fun spot. I've been a couple of times and the experience has only gotten better since it first opened. It's a great family destination during the day and an amazing date night spot at night. The best part? You pay for your drinks, but all the games are free. You'll find a wide variety of nostalgic classics like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Pac-Man, along with various pinball machines and even Dance Dance Revolution. They serve a variety of ciders and you can sample them to find your favorite. The staff is happy to let you try different ones. My personal favorite is CrackBerry, which you can even buy in to-go six-packs. This is a huge plus since it's often a seasonal flavor at most grocery stores. Cidercade also offers simple food options like pizza. I've even gone by myself and had a great time people-watching and enjoying the lively atmosphere. Just keep in mind that it becomes 21+ after 9 pm.

I have been to this location several times, but I feel like it has gradually gone down hill and it's starting to lose its hype The concept was initially free games for a $10 cover charge. Now it is $12 for unlimited games, and the games are far fewer and far worse quality I used to go on weekends and it would be jam packed but still fun. I recently went on a week day and it was empty, but also less fun We ordered a few pizzas, but the pizzas that came out looked nothing like what was advertised. It was pathetic. The pieces were burnt and unevenly sliced. The bar in the center is nice, but as advertised it's pretty much all cider I still had fun playing a lot of my old favorites, and trying some new ones. There are classics like street fighter, dig dug, pac man, guitar hero, DDR, and new ones like Killer Queen. If you like ski ball or carnival game type hoops - they got it. If you're a pin ball wizard... there's an entire wall for that. Buck hunter, metal slug (multiple versions), pac man, etc etc etc Some tips: Order food elsewhere and bring it in. If you love arcade this is still a pretty good deal. Definitely consider going on a week night, but be careful to avoid rush hour and astros/dynamo games. The "floor is lava" section is newer and a lot of fun. Try as many ciders as you want before making a decision. Also, most ciders cost the same, so, consider getting a higher abv%... More bang for your buck, but please drink responsibly Cheers!!

The place was pretty full for Saturday, couldn't really play the games we wanted because everyone was waiting. Food and seating was fine but wish we could've stayed longer.

Such a cute date night idea! We were visiting Houston and found this online and decided to check it out. It was only $12 to play all the games till you left! It was such a steal. They had all kinds of games form skee-ball, pop a shot, pinball, air hockey, pac-man, DDR, and guitar hero. They had multiple of each kind of game so there was always something you could be playing. They have a bar and food available as well. This is such a cool concept. They have something similar where i am from, but you have to pay for each game. I would come here all the time if I lived in Houston.

Better late than never. We finally checked out Cidercade with our daughter for one of those dog days of Summer activity ideas, and had an awesome visit. They have just about any and every retro arcade game, plus plenty of new ones, that you could think of under one roof. You pay an entry fee, then you're free to run around to any machine and get started on some unlimited gaming. (No quarters necessary) On top of all the games, they offer a wide range of ciders and a handful of beer options, all in-house options, so don't expect a Miller Lite, or anything else you usually grab at bars. Beyond the grown up drinks, there is food court at one end of the building serving pizzas, and other greasy bites, along with the usual soda fountain offerings. Children are allowed until a certain hour each day, then it turns into 18+ evening play, so make sure to check the hours of operation before loading up the kids. If it's too hot outside to do much else, Cidercade offers a fun and different option, with plenty of AC, that will keep the whole family busy for hours.

Such a fun place to hang out with your friends/family. The first few times I went it was after 9pm, so there weren't any children. Just a bunch of adults having fun and drinking cider! I had my birthday party here and had an absolute blast. Our party host was a an absolute gem and made sure we had everything we needed. The establishment has been very clean every time I've gone and very rarely has a game been out of service. There's also food here, but tbh I haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet! The pizza looks AMAZING. Must try when I come back! They do a really good job with regulating the capacity, so sometimes you may find a line, but it'll be worth the wait!!

$12 for unlimited games! How could you not be interested? Thankfully they have free parking too. There were a bunch on pinball machines, arcade games, three skeeball games, two air hockey tables and some other random games. Some of the more popular games -- like Mario cart & air hockey, are hard to grab since they're mostly occupied. Even so, I was able to try most of them. There were a few games that didn't work, but they have a QR code on there to scan and report. Didn't try it so not sure how quickly they actually service them. I went on a Wednesday night and was surprised at how busy they were, but after 9 pm they don't allow children under 18 so it died down a bit. Lots of fun to be had!

Fun for all ages! Being the mom of children that are 4 years apart can be challenging when seeking activities that are fun for both age ranges. We found a gem! There are so many options for games. Whether you're looking for an interactive game or wanting to satisfy the want to play the games from childhood, this place offers it all. I was surprised how easy it was to order food. There are QR codes in the tables. You'll receive a text message when your order is ready. The food was very good. I was delighted to see the specialty ovens that the pizzas are baked in. Overall we had a wonderful time! This is a a great option for a summer outing.
