I had never visited when it was Cilantros. We came in knowing it was under new ownership. The food was very lackluster. The salsa for the chips was way too watered down. At one point, I saw one of the cooks run into the restroom only to see him a brief moment afterward. No hand washing? The bathrooms were not clean, and service was slow at the time as we were the only diners. Plenty of staff are available to maintain the restroom. We will not be returning.

I have gone here for years. Their food and service is excellent. I especially like to go before 4 pm and get the brocheta shrimp at lunch prices. It is the best I've had anywhere. I also like their veggie quesadillas. The ambiance is sometimes disturbed by loud diners but it's not a major thing.

We stopped in for my birthday lunch! We all loved our food! The service was great, the food was quick and delicious. They have several live plants that were beautiful and well kept. I wasn't a huge fan of the hat and whipped cream in the face but everyone else got a kick out of it so there's that. The location is convenient since it's the shopping center down from our office so I have a feeling this may become a frequent lunch spot for us in the future! The prices are also really good.

We arrived at Pablo's (formerly Cilantro's) a little after 6pm. We were seated and my husband went to the restroom. While he was gone a waitress came and got our drink order. She asked if someone else was coming and I responded "yes, he'll be back in a moment". She said she would keep an eye out ante return. After about 10 minutes another waitress asked if we needed to order and we said yes. At this point we gave her our order after we had to literally point out what we wanted in the menu. This waitress had no clue about the menu. A few minutes after that waitress walked off the original waitress returned and ask of we were ready to order. We told her that another waitress had taken our order. At this point she had the nerve to tell he that I turned her away because I was waiting on someone. After being there close to 40 minutes we never received our queso nor any food. At this point we left. We will never return to this establishment. Be prepared for horrible service if you even get any and very rude and unprofessional staff. This restaurant deserves a less than zero star review.

I can always tell about Mexican restaurant by their salsa. This one was good... it was cold (a rare thing in TX) it could have had a little more kick to it, but not bad. I had two enchilada tacos with tomatillo sauce. The flavor was good.. sauce really good.. rice and beans were good with the salsa on it. I also had a cilantro's margarita... very tasty.

I returned to this restaurant after having high hopes of a new owner. I walked in to the establishment, and it was very dark inside. The lady bartender was a bit confused on how to make a skinny margarita. the other gentleman there said he was a bartender and they argued about dishes being washed from the previous day. It was very uncomfortable listening to them argue while I was having a lunch date. Needless to say, the customer service was lackluster, and I will never return.

I have lived in the area for many years and have been disappointed with the quality of the Mexican restaurants in this area. I assumed this would be the same as it it a small restaurant in a shopping center with no frills or flashy lights or even a full parking lot. However I was pleased to find the drinks were strong, the fajitas were grilled not cooked and the portions were ample. Service was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be a return customer

Oh Cilanro's, you sweet sweet siren of the Northeast side of Houston. Kingwood to be exact. The tequila gods live in their Patron Frozen Margarita. 2 and done, son. The food is classic cantina tex mex, no real frills. The salsa verde is upon request, because their secretive about their goodness like that. The staff is always friendly and the bartender has manned the bar for ages. Get to know him and you're life inside Cilantro's is sublime. We've gone for game day, date night, family night, and food in between shopping. It's a staple in our Kingwood living. But if we have something productive to do, I get cut off after one of those awesome margaritas.

The food was really good. It was fast and accurate. Tasted great. My problem was with the waitress. She was very rude, clearly annoyed at every request we made, and argued with us about our food. She rolled her eyes several times and walked away as quickly as she could after dropping stuff off, so we had to keep chasing her down for requests. We probably won't be back. It was just very unpleasant.

I re ordered as my first experience was good but second time was sub par, I got the potatoes/nachos and you couldn't tell the flavors apart from each other, everything tasted the same I added a good amount of salt but wouldn't get the nachos again, I got the cheese fajitas and it was also different made this time it has chopped vegtables,mushrooms bellpepper and a slices of cheese melted on vs. a few weeks ago it was meat/shredded cheese melted with grilled onions mixed in. Not the big of a deal just wasn't expecting it. I'm a chef myself and understand menus change maybe grubhub didn't update the changes.i always enjoy the rice and quac and tomatoes were fresh. I'm sure like most places it depends on who's cooking your meals I know day and night shift have different ways of making things. May get again but may lean towards trying somewhere new.
